Massive crimes have been carried out against the Palestinian people with the full support of the US. The US is a rogue state along with Israel. They stand together as rogue entities that think they can get away with anything. For the US to suddenly change course would mean that the system could eventually turn on them too. Thus I think they follow the status quo and will do so as long as Israel tells them too. My personal belief is that the politicians of the US and even the UK are so corrupt that there is a little black book which keeps them on the pro Israel side. Not all, but enough to wield tremendous power.
The US media is shameless in their coverage of Palestine too. Yesterday CNN had some story about Israeli's needing to train themselves against knife attacks, whilst effectively blanking the US veto on Palestine. They do it whenever hundreds of innocent people are being bombed to smithereens too. 'Ooh, look at the rocket that landed nowhere.....Oh, and a school bombed. Israel was just targeting militants'. It has to be satire. It has to be.
