something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne
Didn't it look like Stivrrne was deliberately running down the clock and doing nothing? Isn't Wilder the charismatic champion to make King more money?
Re: something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne
Are you saying King paid him to lose?
Re: something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne
He's 82 give that man a break, he's so old he didn't even realised he didn't lit his cigar.
Re: something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne
He does incredibly old these days, i wouldn't put ANYTHING past Don King, he's like a rat on a sinking ship, desperate so nothing would surprise me ;)
Don't believe for a second that Stiverne take a lump of money and purposely lost though.
He just wasn't that good to start with, i mean really who's he beaten who's actually any good?
Arreola....? ;D;D;D
Re: something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne

Re: something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne
6th round Stiverne landed well, just couldn't follow up.
7th round was tell-all round for me. Man Sitverne took some nice leather- that straight right that sent him reeling..and it was the champ throwing wide loopy shots.
Funny he threw that home-run shot trying his best to knock out Wilder...too bad it was so wide, Wilder @ 6'7 ducked it smiled as the bell rung.
Stiverne did his best to land some shit.''Was it the 11th or 12th? when Stiverne landed some wicked body shots? Didn't look fishy to me..especially when Wilder covered up-tucked his chin and went inside-preventing Stiverne from getting off.
I mean he totally shut Stiverne's bodyshot game down..and didnt have to do a Lennox/Wlad and clinch to shut down an inside game.
He leaned all that weight on Stiverne and he was too uneducated to know how to spin out..hell he had a plan A...No Plan B.
When was the last time we saw a HW fighter in trouble and shutdown the attack without a clinch?
Hell, when was the last time we saw ANY HW fight where clinching wasn't a major factor?
That was fishy....A HW fighter didn't need to clinch to be effective.

Slim, stop distracting us from the fish talk. Now where were we?

red herring I think.
Re: something fishy about Wilder-Stiverne
I smell a whale of a fight between Wlad-Wild.
Wlad should take the fight before this kid tightens up his game.
Obvious problem to me: Breland has to get him to stiffen that jab- He kept using it as a range finder, & pawing with the jab at times...but then again the ref should have called him on it..
Is it me or is Tony Weeks slipping?

The pushing and hanging jab good point. It was there quite a bit and the bent right was given. Also think Wlad v Jennings will be a good indicator for Wilder. Both actually the same weight, Jenning much more well rounded..I think..and while Wilder has the height and a decent right, he negates his range and has never had to look up and show inside two handed mauling and punching out. Wlad is going to aim for a statement in March, look to punish Jennings and Wilder will be ringside hopefully.

Tbh a few million to set Stiverne for life seems fair enough.
Agreed that I wouldn't put shit past King, he did it when he was on top and now he ain't so he may have done it but who knows
Stiverne didn't seem like himself tbh, but let us give Wilder the credit, he boxed well!
