I just do not get the appeal of basketball ??? Always looks like very tedious stuff.
Teddy just terrified fans with that imitation of Forrest Gump. Wow
Stansyslav Skorokhad 8-0 (6) fights Michael Moore 13-0 (6) in opener. Someone call Lyle and tell him Michael Moore is about to get beat up ;D
Skorokhod busted up a bit but Moore looks bad
Ohhh, huge right! Moore is on stilts, they can stop this one
Ref being brave with this kids health
Finally. Well stopped. Interested to watch this kid!
John Thompson 14-1 (5) vs Ricardo Pinell 10-1-1 (6). Thompson comes in on 1 day notice...that's why tourneys always go iffy
Thompson a pretty sharp dude, honestly starting to make Pinell look clueless!
Pinell started to bull him end of round and had him weary. Nice ebb and flow!
Pinell back to being a viewer last couple of rounds..Thompson is stealing the show! Long busy boxing all fight
Judges turn in shut out cards...60-54 all for Thompson
Vito Gasparyan 14-3-5 vs Simeon Hardy 13-0 (10) now...Vito with 5 draws?
Hardy feels like the goods
Gasparyan had a better 3rd, got it physical and Hardy looked briefly bothered off a hook or two! Hardy off buying stadium nachos somewhere that round
Just noticed Hardy's beltline is just about Michael Grant high :-X. Hardy falling into Vito now, looks raggedy
Have this 2-4 after 6 but Gaspariyan, win and finishes the fight hard. Hardy looked gassed and grateful to hear bell. Wow, may see a draw here and get another round
60-54 card was a joke, I mean come on. Vito the right guy and won
Brandon Adams returns vs Alex Perez 18-1 (10). Perez sounds like Uncle Roger after a long night but paid some dues
Love that they do full pre fighter profiles, very interesting blend
Adams is putting dents in his can early :-X Very confident guy Adams. Perez is in slow motion
Adams looks a sucker for the uppercut on ropes in 3rd but got on his chest and mauled Perez inside. Starting to square up though..Adams gives up his face!
Absolute brutal ender with a short compact right uppercut for Adams, at first it looked like he hit Perez in the chest! Nice ko finish by Adams
Thanks, for the excellent running commentary on the card, as always.
Was at Tae Kwon Do testing for two of my granddaughters.
I will watch it later tomorrow and give my insightful and important opinion. Thanks for the heads up. :)
Skorokhod v Adams final? Adams wins.
Sky plused this and cut off before the Adams fight. How he look? I thought the Ukranian lad looked very good. Have to fancy him to beat Thompson in the next round. The 2 lads in the 3rd quarter didnt look up to much so presume Adams will take the other semi final.
Yeh that has the look of the final. Adams is a beast, very sharp but can be squared and top heavy. Leans in and has some holes up the middle. Monroe jr really outclassed him a couple fights ago off a long jab. First time seeing Skorokhod. He and Adams should be a great little scrap, honestly can see it an even go.
@Master Hey bud how do you change a thread title?
Looks like a delay due to College B ball. Heavyweight going at it tonight
Razven Cojanu 12-1 (7) v Ed Fountain 10-0 (4)
Donovan Dennis 10-1 (8 ) v Steve Vukosa 10-0(4)
Andrey Fedosov 25-3 (20) v Nat Heaven 9-1 (7) Surprised to see Fedosov in this.
Jason Estrada tries to comeback again v Lenroy Thomas
There are few things that compare to the feeling of getting between the ropes, the adrenaline I mean. But the first time you dunk a basketball on someone all you want to do is dunk on more people. I still think about the first time I dunked on someone every single day and it was 23 years ago.
That makes perfect sense. Has to be close to putting one over the fence in a ball field maybe. Its just the clock and constant stoppages, seems to ruin great momentum in what can be a very fast paced game
Estrada vs Thomas up first. Once again Estrada at his heaviest. Not good. Estrada is a great speaker with a sharp mind but its all about actions
I missed a little, is Thomas a righty that fights southpaw?
I ask because his lefts look unnatural to me, very aimed.
Thomas has a good jab when he uses it. He could take this fight with his jab alone if he wants to pump it
Estrada looks like he may be evening this up after 4 after Thomas effected by that headbutt. Thomas has done well sticking to a boxing plan. Shooting straight shots in 5th as a cut Estrada leads with a clinch :-X
I had Thomas 4-2
After 6 I have it 4-2 Thomas clear winner...now the judges come :wisesmilie:
Woooooowwww! This is NOT a draw. Now they fight an additional round to decide "winner". Estrad has been handed a genie lamp..and so far is doing zero!
Wow, I think it was easier to say 5-1 than to say 3-3 but let them fight on
Thomas clowning him in 7th.
