Ok, guys, lets see who knows some Sh.t about boxing
My prediction:
Mayweather will KO Pac with a body shot to the liver.
It will take 8-10 rounds.
P.S. I do want Pac to win, but I do not see how it is going to happen

ive just looked at the mayweather record and i dont think its as good as people make out
i know its been said many times, people analysing records and all that
his best wins seem to be alverez, hatton and dlh?
i personally think mannys is much more impressive
marquez seems to be a yard stick but styles are a huge factor when you put him against manny and mayweather
i reckon in their pomp floyd would have struggled with manny and i dont see why it would be any different now
Pacquiao UD Mayweather in a tough fight.
The Phillipino overwhelms him.
I don't think Pac will land enough clean power shots though to knock him out and will certainly be lookin puffy himself after catching his fair share of counters.
I DO NOT however, see a repeat of Marquez... That was certainly "catching lightning in a bottle", unable to be repeated with any kind of regularity.
And speaking of Marquez, let's not forget that Floyd outweighed Marquez and required him to move up.
In my opinion, Floyd will pull out with some excuse and a backlash at Manny and this fight will never go ahead.
Absolutely pathetic!
Pacman will beat him
Mayweather struggles with Southpaws and he's never faced a Southpaw like Pacquiao, Floyd can't fight at a pace either and will be forced to fight so Pac wins this for me
13 reasons Floyd Mayweather Jr. will lose to Manny Pacquiao
as Fighters I respect both these guys (who wouldn't?) and am not on one side or the other. but I reckon Floyd will win on Points. you can't really say UD because look what happened on the scorecards v Canelo!
I think Floyd will avoid Manny's attacks , clinching where necessary, but connect enough on the counter to win rounds. it will be close for the first half of the fight and Floyd will gradually pull away and realistically win by 3-4 rounds.
Floyd may end up looking like a "mini Andre Ward", and it won't be pretty or a great fight as such. Pretty standard Floyd fight really.
I don't think it will be such a shut-out for Floyd (Malignaggi's rant was a bit over the top). I'm certain that the fight will be quite competitive in the first third or so, with Mayweather trying to figure Pac out.
If Floyd manages to do that without any knock-downs, he'll pull it off. But if Pac scores an early knock-down or two, it will be up to the judges (so he'll pull it off then also).
Pacquiao by SD or MD
I think Pac will have a difficult time landing significant shots that will hurt May, and I think May will have problem with punch output and his lack of activity will cost him some rounds. Ultimately I think Pac's output, his in/out, and lateral movement will win him enough rounds to push this a decision victory and into a rematch. I see no knockdowns in this iconic matchup.
Go Pac Go!
Floyd by big points margin or else he stops pacman, just can't see pacman causing floyd any problems might be a fun 1st 3 rounds but after that it's all floyd.
It's a pick em fight. Mayweather has timing and quickness and is able to make some amazing athletic moves where otherwise he collects more damage during a fight with faster fighters. That athleticism and his reflexes has slowed some, so I would expect even with the slower Pacquaio he will absorb more blows than in his previous fights. Obviously he will look to tie Pacquiao up so he can't through so many punches to keep the fight close. I don't expect a KO. If Mayweather can't tie Pacquiao up, I think he's slowed down too much and Pacquiao wins a close Decision. If Mayweather has sandbagged us with his last 3 fights, then he should be able to take 6 or 7 clear rounds. They have both been through tons of media exposure and both are confident so there won't be any head game advantage. Any mental advantage will have to happen in the ring. I really think this fight comes down to who wants it more.
If Maidana can get to Mayweather then Manny can. I think Manny has his moments but Floyd outpoints him. I was going with a wide Floyd points win but now I'm thinking it'll be relatively close.
Pacquiao definitely has a better shot now than he did 5 years ago and it's so right that if Maidana was getting to Floyd with good success then so will Manny.
He's gonna be all over Floyd like a crazed octopus and Floyd won't like it at all and will be forced to fight him which he simply can't do for 12 rounds these days.
Pac is the favourite for me 100% ;)
I don't think it'd be easy for either guy I'm predicting Pac by SD. he'll win rounds mostly by being more active then Floyd.
I think the difference in footwork, speed and angles that Pac brings makes this a very different fight than what Floyd had with Oscar. More clinching from Floyd if they are close. It will be very interesting to see how Floyd works his timing pot shots. I see Pac getting tagged with that straight Right now and then, but I'm not so sure the left hook to the head works, maybe to the body.
Mayweather has a rematch clause, I don't think pac does. Therefore, the only way to guarantee a rematch (another $300+ million purse) is a pac win. I suspect pac by close, controversial decision because that's just how it works.
Pac should watch how de la hoya ( in my card) defeated Mayweather.
If de la Hoya can do it to Mayweather, how much more the Pacman?
If Pac blazes Mayweather early, I see a TKO in the 10 to 12 round. Mayweather hasn't seen anything like the Pacman except the Judah fight during the early rounds. Watch it guys and say to me if I am wrong. ;)
Pac wins but gets robbed by floyds judges/refs/venue.
Yo, @Max Power, how does Max Powerism 101 is applied to the current case?
The age difference is only 1-2 years, I think your theory (newer is bigger & bigger is better => never is better ) finds singularity in this case and give inaccurate results
It only works when there is generation difference between fighters :))), so they could not have fought in the same time
Pac Size < May Size
Pac Age < May Age
REsults? Pac Vs May ~ 1/0
I never said that the biggest or the oldest would always win.
Max Powerism is clearly defined as being the bigger man has an advantage to win. The most experienced fighter has an advantage to win (which is often the older one) which is proven by stats across the board.
Experience is similar, I would even say Pac has the slightly better experiences.
The size difference at bout will be negligible.
Some of the size differences we are talking about in previous generation or HW otherwise comparisons are involving large differences.
Of course cross era generations involve past boxers who even if they were of similar size and experience, they have not the same power and athleticism gained through modern training and their experiences are against smaller and bummier boxers also.
This thread needs a poll
I agree.
Floyd will be a spoiler in this close one. Fans will be crying about who hit who with the most power because he will diffuse Mannys shots and the general people and the exited fans wont see it. Floyd wont hit him as hard but he will score more and he will control the whole fight.
Floyd could finish this late if Manny tires due to more movement, or if Manny gets frustrated;probably both, but they will want you all to pay for a second fight and maybe a third one so you will be well had one way or the other.
Mayweather's ring IQ and counters will take over the fight by round 5.
I'm picking Mayweather by UD, 116 - 112.
Floyd by points, money talks, the judge know the final score already.
Either Manny will stop Floyd in the 8th to 11th round or Floyd will win by decision.
The referee will not stop the fight in the 12th round even if Floyd is being beaten up as long as he remains standing. But the referee will probably stop the fight if it's the other way around. Even if Pacquiao dominates, a decision will go in Mayweather's favor, similar to what happened in the Pacquiao-Bradley I fight.
And Floyd is not going to intentionally lose this fight just to get into a second fight. He is not going to risk losing the zero and there is no guarantee that he will win the rematch.
if anyone is gettin robbed on points it will be PAC.
Remember Manny vs Juanma 1, 2, and 3? Things might work on Pac's favor.
But for Pac fans to say he will get robbed sounds more like excuses knowing that Floyd seems to be a better all-around boxer and technician with longer reach. It's like Floyd fans saying "They shouldn't exchange punches cuz that is a dumb way to win a fight" knowing Pacquiao can brawl if necessary.
Floyd will knockout the Pacman... game over! And then he'll take on Mrs Pacman after the fight ;D;D
The only way i see floyd winning this is by landing one punch and either jumping in to hug or run around the ring till he tries to land another but if he cant stay away he will lose. Manny punching angles dont match up with his defensive style because hes a southpaw which is tricky enough but he is a south paw that will throw even weirder punches then a southpaw and at large amounts at a time. If floyd cant hold or stay away then manny wins by KO. If he does manage to stay away or hold then floyd wins by UD.
