Article I did on Paul Butler. What do people think about this card? It's on box nation tonight , should be alright.
I think Butler has a very good shot. Tete has legit power. This is a very even contest.
Nice right hand scores Matthews a 5th round stoppage on the undercard. Keep the Abril fight alive.
Fighters entering the ring now. Butler comes out to White Snakes 'Here I go again'
1-0 Tete
Tete using his height well. His long reach and jab are keeping Butler on the outside.
2-0 Tete
Butler closing the gap and getting inside more often that round but Tete controlling the fight with the jab.
3-0 Tete
Tete keeping the fight in the centre of the ring. His left lokks good also to the head or body or used as an uppercut as Butler falls in.
Butler got inside, but got caught with an uppercut, looked stunned? Tete back behind the jab. Nothing working so far for Butler. Needs to throw more.
4-0 Tete
...but the British judges probably have it 3-1 Butler.
Tete ties Butler up well when he gets inside. Butler landed a good hook about half way through the round , he is closing the gap. But Tete moves well and is back behind the jab. Probably Butlers best round but not enough to win it.
5-0
Butler gets Tete in the corner after 1st minute but Tete turns him against them ropes. Tete boxing well and throwing nice combos. Butler coming on at the end of the round.
6-0
I think Butler landed his first two punches of the fight in that round.
7-0
Butler starting to time Tete better that round but just can't get inside. Tete's jab and left hand are making it look easy.
Great left uppercut. Butler down and its over!

Butler beat the count, didn't look good so the ref waived it off
Been at the event tonight, massive uppercut then goodnight.

never really had a look in in.
Paul was going to trying to make history as a 2 weight Champ, but he ran into a better man and
Tete was better much better than any of us gave him credit for.
I hope Paul can bounce back, forget a rematch Tete is to much for Butler.

Tete I feel is a decent fighter, and most people underestimated him,! he is a true hungry fighter

My point exactly, if you regard Tete as a decent fighter , then butler is average at best.
I hope Tete makes some money he fought well.

I saw the fight now and Tete is a brilliant fighter! Perfect balance, tall southpaw and very precise punches. He must be the best fighter at the weight.
