Thus far I'm behind 2-1 in votes.  :cwm23: AA would have been my second choice though.
Welcome Hebman, good poll and have a cool click.
I hope Ricky Burns lives up to his potential,if he does he will be up there at the top in a couple of years.
I vted AA by the way! ;)
3-3 in votes now, I'm genuinely surprised.
And I'll remember you Gogs when Scott steps up... ;D ;)
C'mon m8,don't hold me to it! ;DIt's a difficult one for me cos i've been a huge fan of Scotts for years. It's just a pity most folk on here never saw him fight when he would actually BOX and he is damn good at it when he wants to!I think thats what swung it for me for Alex because he seems to have slightly more in his arsenal now.Plus he's a really decent, down to earth guy if you meet him.......and he's from Edinburgh (see, local bias ;))Quote:

Cheers for the responses people. It's interesting to see so many people going for Alex Arthur.
I picked Alex Arthur cause i was at his last fight and he looked great. Ricky Burns was expected to be KO'd but he fought so well, hopefuly in around 4 or 5 years ther'l be 6 ot 7 Scottish champs.

PS. I would have put Harrison on the Poll, but it doesn't seem to give me an option to vote.
Poll closed sadly! ;)
Yeah I bet you were gutted... ;DQuote:

I don't think harrison will get by Guzman but kevin anderson is a good un.

Also think Kevin Anderson is the best looking Scottish boxer in some time & would beat any British Welter at the moment (excluding Hatton).
ie. Young Muttley, Michael Jennings, David Barnes.
Great poll! It's looking good for Scottish boxing, a few years back there wouldn't have been enough decent boxers to make a poll.
Scott has it, because he is a world champion; the others aren't quite there yet. The most under rated fighter for me is Gary Young. He has shown great promise in previous fights with a tight all action style.
It's a pity some of them are the same weight as it would be good to see them all do well. :D
IMO it has to be Harrison
I still cannot get that stupid smile outta my head when AAA got laid out by Gomez and he looked at he camera and grinned :S
I think AAA will go on to become more established tha Scott as IMO he a far better technical boxer
