Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Thoughts... I like that silly ol'e gypsy, really I do!

Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
The question should be the other way round.
Until Wilders last fight which was a massive jump in class what had he done?
In fact his last fight was a bit of a paradox. It was a massive jump in class as it was for a title but the person he faced wasn't very good. They both looked clueless at times. On the few occasions that Stiverne pressured, Wilder shut up shop. Wilder doesn't look as though he's got the tools to fight rough. He has power and speed but he doesn't look a natural fighter at all.
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Perfect fight to be made right now and the winner vs Wlad on ppv. I think Wilder did decent against Stiverne and showed that he can take a punch and go 12 rounds. I'm sorry but I can't shake the fact that a blown up cruiser put Tyson on his ass and nearly pulled off an upset. Wilder by knockout in 5.
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
...and since then Cunningham has been put on his arse 3 times and lost a UD once, all by mediocre heavies at best. :-\
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
The question is Does Fury have anyone as highly ranked as Stiverne on his record? Has he beaten the quality of fighter Povetkin has? Pianeta got absolutely slated and ridiculed for getting a shot at Wlad, but he was 28-0 , European champ and had better fighters on his resume than Fury. I don't see the difference.
Yes , Fury has talent, but for many reasons, some his own fault, some bad luck, he hasn't really beaten anyone.
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
The thing that has always went in furys favor is that he has always had a massive size advantage so has been hard to hit.
Those who have managed to hit him have dropped him.
Wilder lands and Fury is done for and I just don't see Fury as a big pucher.

Cunningham had Fury looking clueless when they fought. You do remember Fury sitting on his ass in the middle of the ring?
The thing is I like Fury and want to see him fight Wilder, but the mental picture I have of you with your head stuck up Fury's ass is starting to turn me against him.
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
No and he never will be...not for Wilder, not for any other power puncher.....else he would have fought one by now
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Fury is a much better and more natural boxer than Wilder.
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Yes Fury is ready for Wilder but neither are ready for Wlad. They need to fight better fighters that will test them further but I do not think there is that many there that could bridge that gap.

Can Wilder get away from Wlad's shots like how he did against Stiverne?? I dunno!?!? He looked very lubricious against Stiverne... and I think Stiverne hits harder than Wlad, even though Wlad's reach is longer.

I'm hoping we find out soon, all these different opinions are starting to make my head hurt.
No matter who wins, there are going to be plenty of disappointed boxing fans. Truthfully, I think Wlad could beat both the same week, but who knows when the big guys start throwing, anything can happen.

Based on concussive power... let's face it, Wlad doesn't hit you bomb hard. He hits you often and hard enough. It's thudding, but accurate, whereas Stiverne is more concussive. Just compare their ko's and how it came about...

All those hits have the same result in the end, they wear you down taking your legs and stamina away from you.
Kind of like what happened to Pascal, although Pascal was taking some very heavy shots too. Pascal is one tough dude!
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Wilder will pick one or two easy paydays, then get big pay day off Wlad.
Why would he do anything else.

Total and utter scum lashing out at others because he has a pitiful life , very sad indeed.

You are wrong.

Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Fury's ready for Wilder. Wilder's ready for Fury.
Let's get it on and find out who is best suited to challenge Wlad before the old boy decides to retire.

You are wrong.
Take for example the difference between Lewis and Tyson. Who hit harder? I would say Tyson, but we know Lewis can bomb away on you with accuracy and just voluminous, thudding shots.
Or, the differences between Bowe and Tyson. Bowe really withered opponents... but Tyson near decapitated them.
Same differences I see with Stiverne and Wlad in terms of the TYPE of power.

I'm right there with you sir, I want to see Fury vs Wilder. They have been hissing and snarling at each other for over a year on social media and I think it's time to bring it into the real world.
They both say they want to fight each other, what's the problem, besides money, egos, and money? Lol
-
Don't know if Fury is ready for Wilder!
Don't know if Wilder is ready for Fury!
Want to find out, ASAP!

Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
There was tons of talk during Glazkov v Cunningham about winner getting a shot at Wlad. All I kept thinking was winner next up vs Wilder on NBC. Fury v Wilder would be very entertaining both in and out of the ring. I'd love to see how Fury went about getting in Wilders head. Then again once Fury gets hit on the chin things tend to fall flat :-X

It is very interesting hearing how people from the hood / projects , cast insults at other posters. As for my mother or anyone else mother here , its unacceptable to say things about them ,however we appreciate you have near met your own mother and with your lack of schooling, you wouldn't know that.

I agree. Floyd and PAC stalled for so long with such a big fight that we do not now want to see Fury and Wilder stalling for any reason..I don't think boxing fans can take anymore long stalls or delays after what they did since 2009... quite! ... was it David haye-toe who was mostly responsible for that long and piss poor double cancellation? lets get this on fury and wilder yes indeed they are both ready for each other. "Wilder throwing wild overhand rights and taking Fury out in a barn burner of a two rounder"

Actually I don't live in the projects... and this is "technically" not even the hood, even though it's not behind the gates. Me mum loves me, and to show how much she does/did, she sent me to school and ensured I finished. And I have more college degrees than you do, B.A. (cum laude), MSc (from a Russell Group Uni) and further certification from the USA (Ivy League Uni).
I have more education than you do and perhaps your entire family, you muddaskunt!!

Allllllright
Wladimir Klitschko vs Ray Austin round 2
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2p4cX1ULkW0
Bermane Stiverne vs Ray Austin round 10
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUj0R1c7t_8
Other than that 1 shared opponent there's not much to go off of. Sure Stiverne can punch but when you're saying "Wlad doesn't hit you bomb hard" you're just plain wrong, you don't get 53 KO's from 63 wins without punching "bomb hard". 21 KO's from 24 fights is nothing to talk down about, but at the elite championship level Wladimir Klitschko wins and wins by KO, if you think he just wears down opponents fine, but he hits them hard enough to where they have second, third, and fourth thoughts about getting in range

Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Ray Austin = America's answer to Audley Harrison
-
Re: Is Fury ready for Wilder?
Even if he's not getting any younger, Wlad takes both Fury and Deontay to school and pick them apart systematically over 7-8 rounds before they crumble like dust in front of him. They just don't have the techniques and timing to deal with Wlad's flawless piston like jab. I understand the desire that some might have to finally see him falling but Fury and Deontay aren't the men for the task. It's all fairytale and wishful thinking, IMO.

Different worlds is your misunderstanding , but you enjoy you life and I will continue to enjoy mine.words like muddaskunt confirm what i said about your profile pic in the first place.
