Yes, the Cloud fight actually scared me haha.
That left hook near the end made me gasp.
The Page Jr. fight I didn't think he fought very smart. But his power and timing could make him special.
How good is Marc Ramsey as a trainer?
Do not know anything about Marc Ramsey, who else has he got and what has he achieved?
He's fighting Campillo next, that should be another good name for him.
He looks the goods :D I think he needed the scare against Page Jr to remind him to keep his form and not get careless :) he will be better for it ;)
I agree. But with Page moving so much I would have liked to see him go to the body. That's why I am curious about his trainer. Physically he seems to be the goods but is he going to get sharper mentally is what I wonder.Quote:

I've seen him fight live in Montreal. I believe that the guy's for real; raw power, very fast and a very impressive technique. WIthout going as far as saying that he's the next big thing, he's here to stay and to make a tons of noise.
Strong but he looks raw and bothered by fast counters. Then again who isn't. Think its way to early for Stevenson or Kovalev talk and hopefully he won't be reading press clippings that get him clipped again. Campillo is a great measuring stick and a very fluid combo hitter...but with a thin chin. See it either of two extremes..Beterbiev physically destroys him in 2 rounds or Campillo keeps him turning and catching for a bit of a schooling. Campillo has sharp like power, deceptive.
He does a lot of things real well but, when he punches, his head stays right in the middle. That's why he gets hit with counters.
Beterbiev is a scary guy, can't wait to see him in there with some more top guys at 175
Put me down for a 2 round destruction. I agree hes raw and more sledgehammer than scalpel, but seeing campillo dropped by cloud has me believing hes there to get splattered. I hope im wrong and campillo shows up to play spoiler and tests Beterbiev so we can find out more about him.Quote:

This guy is more of a threat to kovalev than Stevenson.
Beterbiev will destroy everything in his path until he reached world level and when he faces kovalev who knows what'll happen when those beasts trade shots as neither of them is going to run. Beterbiev holds 2 wins over kovalev but the champ is producing top form at the moment and is looking too good for everyone
I'd say Kovalev is too rounded skillwise to be beaten by Beterbiev.
Kovalev wont play rope a dope which is Beterbievs only chance.
Thinking the same, sheer physicality should grind Campillo down. Always love a sharpshooter and its a testament to Campillos heart that he bounced back vs Cloud and honestly beat him up good for a shady call if you ask me. But in ring years that was a decade ago. He did well to tear up and embarrass young Williams jr, but everything is against him here.Quote:
