Kell Brook- a testament to endurance and concentration!

The intangibles. That is what Kell Brook has over any Welterweight or Jr. Welterweight. Endurance and concentration.

You can't measure someone's endurance over a fight, during training or even during their walk around life. But everytime we see Brook out he looks as fresh as he did in the first round as he does in the last.

Also, what has to be said about Brook is his concentration. He really and truly beat Shawn Porter on having keen concentration from start to finish and didn't let anything during the Porter fight fluster him.

This is the edge Brook has over any Welter or Jr. Welter- not speed, not power, not accuracy as much, and not significantly great boxing skills, which he does have a great deal of the latter more so than most of the guys in the top ten of the Welters. But, it is that concentration and endurance that only comes from training and being prepared- prepared to go 12 rounds if need be, the awareness to stay out of trouble if it goes to twelve rounds, the concentration and understanding to know when to take a chance and when not to.

Brook's calling card- endurance and concentration. You fighters not gifted with aggression or physical attributes can learn from that.

It could have been like Garcia vs. Salka, but it wasn't like the actual fight with Herrera vs. Garcia where we were shocked at how good Herrera was.

With that being said, Brook can find stiffer opposition. His first title defence, and of course he is coming off of that stabbing injury, so we can give him an off fight all things considered. But, he could find stiffer opposition from Jr. Welter to Jr. Middle, if he wants....

Brook is a quality fighter. He has balance, technique and power. Brooks is a big and strong welterweight which is why he is champion and too bug a risk for Khan.

Let's get the facts straight, Brook struggled against Jones, narrowly beat a hype job Porter who he exposed as one dimensional and last night he beat a dog shit mandatory in No Jo Dan.
With so many different belts around per division your always gonna get one piece of shit fighter ranked highly and who quits on you rather than doing what his job description is (fighting)
Brook couldn't exactly have looked bad against such a poor quality heartless pussy but he did what he had to.
Brook has skills but had a very very easy route to that IBF belt.
For me Khan beats him handily as I just think he's to skilled and wise these days.Khan 4-5 years ago versus Brook now and Brook would probably get the KO but Khans a different fighter these days.
I like Brook and admire him for bouncing back from an attempt on his life and a viscous attack but he hasn't been anywhere near the deep end yet 😉

Khan's last fight was against a Porter victim.

If you're judging Brook on the belief that Porter is rubbish, then Khan needs to prove himself before he deserves a shot at Brook.

Porter would have walked through Khan easy, he would have been to strong and rough simple,
Brook had a bad night against Jones, in the rematch he beat up Jones Khan does make stupid
comments, he is not a Champion yes he out boxed Devon but the Champ is Brook

Brook is a big welter strong fast, a good puncher plus he's a Ingle fighter and a good Ingle fighter
is hard to beat.
Khan for all his boxing ability has a very poor chin,! if they meet Brook will catch Khan and that will

Khan v Brooks is a very compelling and interesting fight because you can make a case for both winning.

The bottom line is that Brook hasn't beaten anyone yet to rival who Khan has beaten

You really do not rate Brooks enough and are over valuing Khan.

Khan has done his best work at light welterweight. At welterweight Brooks is equal if not better placed than Khan.

What are Khan's best wins - Maidana? Malignaggi? Diaz? Alexander?

Porter annihilated Paulie, battered Alexander and beat Diaz. Alexander beat Maidana easy.

So again - If Brook gets no credit for the Porter win then Khan can't get any credit for these wins. If Porter is shit these lot must be even shitter. No two ways about it.

I've always rated Brook as the real deal.

ingle fighters are always awkward, fit and tough. Brooke is definitely a worthy member of the illustrious list of Wincobank products.

He is big and strong, difficult to hit, powerful and he is a good counterpuncher with excellent timing and a killer jab. We also know that he has a chin and heart after Carson Jones gave him life and death.

His problem is that it's difficult to look good against him, which is why he sat as number one contender for years before ho got his shot. If he loses his title, he won't get another chance so he needs to take this period in his career very seriously indeed.

Notwithstanding that I was incredulous that someone as limited and, quite frankly, shit as Jo Jo Dan could somehow be mandatory challenger in such a strong division ..... brook did a job on him. I couldn't see Dan fighting for a 'world' title in any other era. Can you imagine what Tommy Hearns, Ray Leonard, Robinson et al would have done to him.

brook's challenge is going to be inside his head as he has been known to shirk training, go AWOL and get into all sorts of trouble outside the ring.

I'm not saying Brook is shit infact I do rate him highly and he has skills but he hasn't fought at Khans level yet.
Amirs been in situations he hasn't and has way more big fight experience and has faced way more varied types of opponents style wise.
Styles make fights so all this He beat him who struggled wth him etc bullshit means fuck all at the end of the day. Brook and Khan have taken completely different routes and not shared an opponent along the way to my knowledge so saying one would beat the other judged on who they have fought fighting someone the other has fought is crazy talk.

And of course this fight will happen, Brook/Hearn calling him out seems to have riled Khan which obviously it was meant to and Khan has now stated that he want's talks to start for the fight.

It'll be a top top fight and is doable just as Ramadan this year starts on June 18th so Khan should swerve his current plans and go for it :cool:
