Don't know of anyone who was fearful of Cassius Clay.
Even 'little pudgy' Spaniard - Alfredo Evangelista laughed at Cassius.

"Me think he's Big Funny Man, that acts like a Child."

Re: What are the least intimidating nicknames of boxers?
Years ago, nicknames were often assigned by newspapermen. Chris Byrd's father, whom was a prizefighter himself, was given the moniker, Joe "Toy Block" Byrd. The reason? Because to that writer's eye his head resembled a toy block...

Re: What are the least intimidating nicknames of boxers?
Caught one last night when trying to transfer some old stuff. Richard "Shrimpy" Clarke. #1 ranked contender takes on champion Sot Chitalada in his hometown of Kingston Jamaica. Suddenly in 11th he eats about 7 uppercuts and wilts and takes full count. He makes comeback at the Great western forum a year later in a total "gimme" vs Antonio Rameriez and gets absolutely KTFO by this 0-1 unknown in big upset. Shrimpy lived up to the billing.
