Will you say he was never that good?
Yes
No
This fight is bringing about some dumb threads.
He's been on P4P lists for 16 years. Is this really what boxing fandom is? After 18 years and one loss he was "exposed"? Haha
He was exposed already. If he loses this fight, he will redeem himself a bit.
Floyd will be exposed and show he has no business fighting at an elite level. Floyd the roid will become a club fighter, or maybe a gate keeper
Yes, we will all know Floyd is a farce and he will sink into oblivion.
Corvette turns into a Civic
If floyd loses I think it depends on how he loses, if he gets fucked up like Hatton then yes it's going to seriously hurt his legacy but come on pacman is an all time great. If it's a close fight and floyd wins a rematch them it doesn't do much to his legacy IMO.
I actually really like pacman Im obviously a floyd fan and really want him to win but it's roach I really dislike I don't think I could handle the shit that guy would talk if pacman was to win.
Floyd is a great fighter win, lose or draw this fight.
It fight does not define the wanker that he is.
Both guys will still be great if they lose, just not a great as the other guy maybe. But Floyd will get a lot more stick for losing whereas with pac everyone will accept it and make an excuse saying he's old.
I think that time has affected both fighters but the fact that manny has issues finishing a punchbag like rios it all looks as though this fight is going to the decision.
If Floyd loses then the fight was fixed
I think everyone agrees that if it goes to the decision floyd wins.
Now let's look at the other option...can manny knockout floyd?
No.
A punching bag with a great chin. Who exactly has a history of stopping Brandon Rios? Pac has fought guys with excellent chins and those guys don't go down. Some fighters know where to keep their hands or else know how to take it. If the chin isn't so great then you are getting knocked down because of the speed and if you aren't ready then he might flatten you like we saw with Hatton. Opponents are studying Manny and all they are learning is how to survive.
If Floyd loses, some people in Vegas will make a fuck** shitload of money. And I hope it'll happen.
Look at the officials & the venue & then tell me The fight isn't stacked heavily against Pacquaio If Manny knocks Floyd out twice he might get a draw decision.
Vegas had the chance to show the world that they are totally neutral in this fight. Instead thev've hired 3 officials who have recently shown extreme bias toward Floyd Mayweather
Fight is heavily stacked against Pacquaio
For the record, I think Floyd will win.
To casual fans, a loss will put him into a Michael Spinks after Tyson-like category where a loss would overshadow a lot of his accomplishments and will forever be identified with that loss to Pacquaio
To boxing fans, he'll be in a Marvin Hagler after Leonard-like category where it'll just be looked as a just blemish on his record but will still be viewed as an ATG.
Agree with that. There is just too much money to be made. Even if it's a comfortable win they will find a way to make it controversial and sell it to the casual fans, who in all honesty don't know what they are watching and will believe whatever they are told.
Well said.
Yes, Mayweather will be exposed as the one who ducks and quacks.
The site again makes a separate forum to shovel all the Pacnutters away to in the name of maintaining quality..and sanity here ;D
Really though...we drink. More! Mayweather is due some lumps.
If Floyd loses its going to get ugly on here. I personally think its gonna be a Floyd knockout. Maybe back when Manny was juicing, kicking the shit outta guys way bigger than him it would have been interesting.
If Floyd loses, it becomes Never ending Story
LOL Very funny lol Kenny Bayless as ref /minder The two judges that scored Floyd-Maidana1 117-111 & 116-112 to Floyd are officiating How can Floyd ever lose a decision?? If Floyd is still standing at the final bell he'll get the decision you can take that to the bank
Oh my God! Not! Have you seen the amount of money's being bet on this fight? Guesstimate are about $80 million. The top 20 most bet on sports events have been superbowls, the biggest was $119 million. The odds on the fight are -200/170 I'm not sure how to do the math but it mean about 60% of that total would be lost on Mayweather if he losses the fight. Either way the casinos just get richer.
