Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
I'm standing by my man all the way. I don't care who sez what. I've been scoffed at everywhere, even here in my country particularly among the intellectual elites. I've gone against the experts. I've gone against all the past greats. I've gone against the crowd. And I'm even going against the odds. But the heck with it, I'm going all the waaaay for my man.
And so, where are all my fellow pac-fans! Get back in here and stand by your man! And believe me, it feels reaaally good to go against everyone, against all the odds. It'll give you all the thrills of lifetime! And don't forget, our very own man from our poor, insignificant and God-forsaken country is himself in this fight of the century and that's definitely something worth standing and cheering for. Let's go...
Alright, Manny, let's go get him.
We'll be fighting with you in spirit.
Now who's in? Just remember, you're either with us or the terro.... I mean, a lady-beater!

Cheers man going for Pac and so is all my family.

We are for Manny here too. The experts are against him, the odds are against him, but since when has that ever stopped him? Where there is a will there is a way and I want to see Mayweather taught the way of God.

Nice to hear that. You and your family made the right choice. Give my regards to them - cheers from the biggest pac-fan in the world.;)

That's right, Miles, there is no word 'retreat' in Manny's vocabulary and I'm counting on his determination and power to smash the ego of a man who has never known how to be humble. Cheers to you and all British fans.;)

Mayweather wins - Period

It was a bit closer than one of the cards displayed.
Manny did okay but we can agree it's just a different class.

I seriously hope none ever mention they wanna see a rematch.

Sorry to disappoint you, gentlemen. I guess going against the world was not a good idea. Anyhow it was fun while it lasted and, for better or worst, I'll stick with my boy. But what the heck, cheeeers, man. cheer up, it ain't the end of the world. Let's just get up and move on...

Thanks for a little word of consolation, mate. I've always thought you were one of the nicest Floyd fans, cheers and congrats.

Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
I thought I was going to have fun goofing on Pac after his inevitable loss to Mayweather, but now I just kinda feel bad for him. Everyone knows Mayweather doesn't bring the action or excitement, and so many bought into this fight on the notion that Pac would bring the fire and be effective. He looked pretty clownish talking about how he won the fight at the end.
-
Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
Mayweather may have won the title but he doesn't deserve it. People were booing him and I honestly believe his win is not enough to put him above Pac. Pac controlled the fight and I just can't believe people win boxing titles by running, hugging and applying all kinds of dirty tricks. What Mayweather had done is not "sweet science". It's surviving. FACT. In MMA, when people give you boos, it means you lost the fight but the judges saw a different fight.
118-110 makes me smile. This is the problem when only one person gets to select the judges.

Be magnanimous and give credit where credit is due.
I congratulate and applaud the Tecate girls for making the pre and post fight events interesting.

This has got to be a joke right ? Pacman won 3 rounds how the fuck did pacman control the fight exactly ?

Ya, Beanflicker, behind all your blusters I can see that you're not such a bad fella and that's why I've been giving you compliments and likes. Well anyways, congrats.

Alright, Mayweather fans. I'm the head of the pac-fans here so you can bring in all your jeers and taunts. I'm ready to take 'em in graciously like a good warrior of the old living under the code of chivalry, without complain or rancor. But I hope you can spare the other boys. C'mon man, be gracious a little.

Pacfan,
When manny had floyd up against the ropes with all those combos I thought That was it for floyd!
I appreciate that both fighters put it all on the line and Manny kept the pressure on at all times!
No bragging or boasting from me as I actually wanted floyd to surprise us and do a little bit extra as he missed many times as well.
Manny will come again and is still a force in the 147 division!
Cheers matey.

You've been alright, can't say the same for some of the others. The 4th round was scary

Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
Once again, congrats to Manny and his fans. Very disappointed in the display Manny put on. I know evading and clinching is part of the sweet science but I think May went a bit overboard. Disappointing fight, I know there won't be a rematch, thank God, I think I'm done purchasing both May and Manny fights. Still the right call was made and I'm going to bed with a little less Money in my account while Pac and money are loaded up, God bless America.

Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
I whole heartedly believed Manny would pull it off.
Hats off and respect to Mayweather for fighting his fight, imposing his style upon Manny, and completely shutting down his offensive capabilities.
I agree that boxing, the Sweet Science, boils down to hitting while not getting hit, and Floyd is superb at that. His defense and countering, along with his boxing IQ (in the ring IQ), allow him to do what he does.
I am not a fan of his (Mayweathers) style. I'm old school. My favorite fighters are Diego Corrales, Mickey Ward, Arturo Gatti, Alfredo Angulo, Johny Tapia. Men that FIGHT. That throw it down. Men that make it fucking exciting and captivating. I know, they're not the greatest boxers, but I just love it when two fighters beat the shit out of each other till one of them drops or till the end. I think after tonight, after all the hype and build up, this fight hurt boxing. A lot of casuals tuning in expecting an epic throw down were royally disappointed.
In the end, I understand completely the different styles of boxing and not everyone fights the same. But I hope after Floyd retires, his style retires with him.
My buzzed two cents.

Pacquiao fans should try and see if they can get the fight changed to a no-contest. Pacquiao thinks he won. He clearly was on drugs

Mayweather should give JMM a tip for creating a scared cautious Pac. May have been more competitive with no KO. Then again 5 years Manny was the spokesman for Dole as he clearly juiced. Now he is a scared little sucked in lookig man with lots of money.

Has to be a joke or we need to have an intervention before he hurts himself

Pac is a true ATG legend in the sport and one of boxing's truly great action fighters, which is the one thing you can't say about Floyd. In terms of skill and legacy in the sport though, he wasn't on Floyd's level.

Obviously most of it was just harmless clowning around to make the fight more interesting on Saddo, Manny's still a great fighter and I've enjoyed watching him as much as anyone else has over the years.

Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
Boxing used to be Pacquiao's career and he was very good at it. At some point in time, it turned out to be just one of his many hobbies. The fire isn't there anymore, otherwise it may have translated to a much closer fight than it was. Time to hang up the gloves. Hats off to Mayweather for a well deserved win.

Sorry about that, @walrus. Hey @Master, it's me. I never thought I'd be a gay or even resemble a gay, but if Master say so, then I'd gladly accept the award. At this point, I'd eat anything.;D

My consolation is that all the Floyd boys I've been trying to reach out all these month have at last responded. There is a saying magnanimity in victory and graciousness in defeat. Thanks and enjoy your victory.

Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
Most folks here these days probably don't know me but I'm one of the original pac-fans here and I used to post on this board. Then other pac-fans started to come in one by one and being a busy fella, I thought I'd leave it to our new boys to do the job. I started to chill out at the other boards, and the last few years the off topic board has been my favorite lounging area though I visited there just once in awhile. And when the talk of the 'great fight' came about, I came back and saw that there was hardly any pac-fan left here anymore and thought I might as well 'represent' our boy here. And the rest is not worth mentioning.
I enjoyed the discussions and the excitement over the upcoming fight the last few months has been one of those priceless moments while it lasted. And of course, the better man won and so my self-imposed job here is done with and I'm bidding myself adieu again and like the last several years, I'll just be an occasional spectator on this board and go back to my favorite off topic board. So thanks to all, and if any of you miss me ;D, you can probably catch me there at the off topic board if you are lucky enough. And, gentlemen, I've seen many of you talking nothing but boxing here all day long. You should try the other boards as well, they're one of the greatest around where you can gossip about anything under the sun, like jokes, religion, politics, economics, and you can even learn about the latest in porn from the Master himself - yes, that unsmiling mod whom you've learned to fear;D (actually he's a very nice fella;))... I think I got carried away and so I'll cut the nonsense. Well anyway, wish you all the best of luck and adieu.:eek::eek:

Re: Alright, fellow Pac-fans, get in here and stand by your man...aaaall the waaaaay!
I am watching the previews of Manny v Floyd now because I never had a chance to see them. Manny was a beast 2009, that version would have been great to see last night.
Apologies @walrus.
