Lol this is just to much. So it would have never mattered when Floyd carried him. Jesus. I need to threadcott this stuff.
They're getting really stupid with the excuse. So Manny was injured during arguably his best performances (Hatton & Cotto)? Come on...
When ever I read or hear anything from Bob Arum I feel the need to take a shower. This punk ass bitch has a big problem telling the truth.
I don't believe that, but looking at Pac's combo's in this Canelo replay, you can see quite obviously that his right hand is limp. The left lands with force, but the right is thrown in a faggy, prodding, way off of the mark way. More than ever, I am convinced that Pac was fighting with one arm. That he was level with Mayweather at half way kind of makes a mockery of Floyd. I think Floyd gets beaten up badly in a rematch and Pac is going to be as mad as hell. Expect Floyd to work on his octopus man routine. Bwahahaha at him needing that against a man with one arm! You better retire again, Floyd! ;D
That's why Floyd was twisting the arm and Mayweather senior was saying 'You fighting scared'. They knew he was fighting a man with one arm and he was still fighting scared! With hindsight the replay is very, very funny. You connect all the dots which just made no sense in the live fight.
From what I've heard. The "injury" was re-injured during sparring 3 weeks before the fight. Pac and a sparring partner bumped shoulders as Pac came in. They threw out the media ever since then, saying they wanted to keep their game plan a secret. One of Pacquiao sparring partner Dashon Johnson said this on his facebook. Pacquiao says Mayweather was leaked shoulder injury news - Business Insider He was sent home because Pac's shoulder injury prevented Pac from sparring and the injury was to be kept a secret. But Mayweathers camp found out about it. Leonard Ellerbe even said he knew everything going on in Pacquiaos camp and said Pacquiao was having a rough camp. They thought Pacquiao would be fine and fight through it on fight night as long as they had the pain killer they asked for. Either it was Floyd's elusiveness that caused Pacquiao to only throw 400 punches or it was the injury.
Pac got the injury when he was 7 years old when he rescued a dog from a burning building.
28 years later in the biggest fight of his life it comes back again.
Shame.
Floyd is still scared and should rematch a fully fit pacman and stop ducking him all the time.
Yes, and another sparring partner says on video that just like the medical report says there was no shoulder injury. That Pac sparred every day he was scheduled to spar.
Stop with the pathetic excuses. More than the fight was an embarrassment the pathetic excuses are shaming the sport.
Who and where was it said he sparred everyday? Provide me a link.
Also your wrong, what is shaming the sport is the charlie chaplin boxing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fePeuw8Br-U

It's pathetic ! All the Pac-Man lovers believe this. Note : B4 the fight Manny and Freddie were saying "Manny is in the best shape of his life" "We are gonna knock Floyd out" After the fight ? "My shoulder is hurt"
Get the F**K outta my face. He tore his rotator cuff during the fight because he missed so often, not before. Trust me : I've torn my rototor cuff and it's hard to eat your freaking food, never mind fighting someone. Pac-Man is full of it all with his "I love god and god is on my side" crap
Fact is - If they were to fight again - There is not one person who if there life depended on it, would go for Manny.
Ruthless Rocco posted a video of one of Pacs sparring partners saying there was no mention of an injury and he sparred every day he was scheduled. It's in one of the 800 threads, one of the longer ones in the last 2/3 pages. I'm not going to go find it for you because you don't care. You'll just make excuses. Floyd wouldn't stand still for Manny to hit him, whaaaa!! Where was Mannys left? Hmmm??
Here's a question. Can you find one single moment in the fight where Manny showed pain in his shoulder, just one? A wince when he threw a jab, a wince when he threw a hook, a wince when he took s punch on the shoulder, show them rubbing it in the corner, show them manipulating his shoulder, he'll just show them talking about it in the corner. Can you find just one f'n moment?
Didn't Ricky Hatton say similar things whilst out on the strip everyday with a herpes lip? History would suggest that boxers and their team are not always telling the truth about what is going on behind the scenes. Maybe it's not so easy to cancel a fight if your sparring partner beats you up or you get an injury. It's a tricky one. Personally, I think you should cancel if you want, but I can see how the army around you depending on the paycheck will push you and push you to fight.
Tears his rotator cuff in 2008 and gets surgery on it 6-7 years later AFTER the biggest fight of his career?
Fuck off... :vd:
What a load of bollocks this has become.
There is an interview with one of his sparring partners Keandre something and he said Pac sparred everyday that he was scheduled but he was trying to box, so they got their game plan wrong IMO. Also Ariza in an interview said that Pac had no injuries back then and Arum is lying.
This needs to stop. Just admit you got your game plan wrong and were betting on Floyd's legs being shot , being faster than him and him being feather fisted but when that wasn't true you didn't have a plan B and got embarrassed. Simple as.
I just watched the showtime epilogue (I've posted it on the maypac news thread) and no mention of a shoulder injury in the pac corner between rounds like you would expect.
What can be hilarious about Forum's are, poster often think they are being persuaded. No what is being done most time by quality poster is, they try to figure out facts and sort out reliable sources. You are not being persuaded because fanboys are already convince one way or the other. Plus what makes them think so much that their opinion matter? Most fanboy just post their sheep like opinion like they should be pass them around as the only accepted FACT. SMH.
Re-watched the fight tonight as a friend wanted to see it.
Pacquaio didn't look like a fighter with a shoulder injury. He looked like a fighter who was off his PED regimen. He looked like a completely average, 36-year-old, blown-up lightweight.
Floyd looked like a guy who was somewhat surprised and relieved to be collecting $250 million to spar for 12 rounds.
So with this post you admit in 36 minutes of fighting and 11 minutes between rounds there is not one visual piece of evidence of an injury and also no verbal evidence. It was a nice attempt to dodge but we all saw you dodge. Manny could learn from you
Edit-I need to apologize. I'm being a dick. I just think it's disrespectful to the sport to make excuses. Fighters all through history have gotten in the ring with injuries. It's just part of it.
And having apologized I want to move on and address some more of the misinformation being spread.
When Pac had Floyd on the ropes throwing his bombs he DID NOT simply back up. He got square, and thus didn't have balance, Floyd's shoulder went into his chest because Mannys flurry carried him into him. When Floyd's shoulder made contact it put Manny off balance. That caused him to back up and then he reset. I can't speak for every time he flurried but I saw it clear as day once. I assume that was the case the other couple times.
We first had the "I lost because I wore the wrong socks" excuses. Then all the other excuses to not take random blood tests. And now the excuses as to why he was taken to school by Floyd. Come on Pac. You need a new team of excuse-makers.
Not sure what you mean in that scenario you described. I'm not trying to make excuses for Pac. After watching it the first time I thought he didn't do enough to convince the judges he won. I expected more from Pac and credit Floyd for throwing those straight rights from the first round. I'm just not so dismissive about Pac's injury like Floyds fans are and anti pac are. Either they came in with the gameplan of countering Floyd into a big punch and flurry which didn't turn out enough or Pac had the shoulder holding him back and his corner refuse to talk about it. He clearly asked for anti-inflammatory for it before the fight though which should tell us something, right?
Julius my man, that's why I don't engage in discussions much here except upcoming boxing fights, there is simply no rhyme or reason when the fan-boys speak. Nothing wrong about that I guess since this is a fan site, not necessarily an experts' site. The only thing sure here is that the battle line has been drawn and you know exactly what side most of the people belong and they have always proven and will always prove that with their predictable comments - they are very, very consistent when it comes to this. For example, when people say Floyd lost to Castillo, the Floyd-boys will say he was injured and the other side will say that's an excuse. When Manny refuses to take the test, they say he's on PED and us packy boys will say 'no he ain't' but when Floyd is seen in the company of a PED expert, they have their own excuses or arguments. That's how it is and how it will be. And definitely, that is not my cup of tea, I'll rather talk about upcoming fights, no hypothetical ones, and take a stand, right or wrong - no problem with that for me...
I think Manny had the injury when he was born.
I personally think it is bullshit he was injured but if he was, what kind of reaction do you expect about his timing of revealing this "injury"? Before the fight he thanked Floyd. He thanked him for making the fight. He was all smiles. He didn't look like a fighter concerned about an injury. Straight after the fight he said he won, said Floyd "didn't do nothing". Now he's saying he was injured the entire time as an excuse for his off performance.
The funny thing is that before the fight I told my friends who are casual boxing fans, that I wanted Floyd to win because he deserves respect for what he has achieved in the sport but his attitude and the fact he's a total dick stops people from respecting his skill but regardless of the outcome Manny will be respected. I was wrong, I can't believe how unsportsmanlike he's been about the outcome. Just respect the decision, applaud Floyd for beating you, but say you feel you'd do better in a rematch. Instead of doing that, he's become a whiny little bitch, much like his trainer.
