He is now rated number 1 in his division ahead of Rigondeaux on boxrec :D

He hasn't fought enough top fighters to be rated top 10 yet , but he is going along great.
He has to fight Quigg and Rig .

Congrats to Froch, he became #1 BY DEFAULT because the #1 guy (who whipped him) had promotional issues and couldn't fight.
Carl Froch isn't worth a fuck until he fights and beats Ward. He'll never be the true #1 until that happens.
He's 1 with the The Ring mag too...but only because Rigo is their champion.
Be interesting to see who his next opponent is

Rigondeaux is still the top dog at 122. You can't overtake him until you beat him.
You can't make any money from a fight with him though. You'd be better off working at McDonalds than fighting Rigondeaux. In fact, I'd even go as far to say as fighting him will make you homeless.Quote:

If Frampton wants to be considered the best at the weight then he must beat Rigo. The excuse he brings no money does not wash. Carl is on a fat contract with ITV so he can bring Rigo in if he wants.
