I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
read that the Bridge and the Emirates are in the running and that Chelsea are in serious talks but worried about the pitch as its into the season, they have a proposed September or October date.

Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
same ref as wlads last fight please
-
A Ukraine fighter boxing in a Russian billionaires backyard could be interesting especially as Vitali will be there 😉
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
So will Tyson Fury try to outbox Wlad or knock him out? I think the press conferences will be hilarious especially since Wlad speaks better English than Tyson.
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
I like both fighters as people, probably more than any other boxers, and yes the pre fight stuff could be pretty damn funny. Don't give Fury a prayer in the actual fight though, I'm afraid.
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
my money's on the bigger man
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
Wlad will chop that tree down pretty quick. Fury has been down vs all sorts of style and competition
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
I actually think Fury will be so fired up for this he will get to Wlad in the build up.
Remember all the shit talking Haye did but when it came to the actual press conferences he was very subdued, even refusing to sit in the same room as Wlad and his "magic hand" which Wlad ripped him for. Haye was the same with Fury, very quiet and pulled out twice.
I believe Furys absolute confidence in himself and the philosophy that he just wants to offer a good fight with any man win or lose will unerve Wlad. He wont have faced anyone that has that much belief and will to win coupled with actual skill, ability and size.
Wlad has already hinted that it will bother him by saying Fury is more known for his talking than boxing. He watched him spar and refused to spar with him when Fury asked. He knows what Tysons all about.

Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
It would be brilliant watching this on channel 5 as Fury takes the title from Wlad. Absolutely brilliant for British boxing.
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
Fury left channel 5 two years ago. Maybe Frank will let them have the fight out of the goodness of his heart instead of making it a BoxNation PPV. You never know
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
Talks are definitely already well underway, i know Jose the manager is worried about pitch damage as it'll be during the 2nd or 3rd month into the football season, apparently Arsenals Emirates are also keen to stage it.
Wlad has said loads of times he really wants to fight in the UK too.
Warren must be desperate for a Fury upset/win too, seems like he's struggling these days with a pretty limited and sparse stable compared to his heyday.
Filling the stadium won't be a problem either and it'll clear every Pikey in England off the streets for a night ;D
HOWEVER - Tyson Fury said 2 days ago on his twitter page that he has been told he will be fighting Wlad in Tokyo in October.
-
I'm hearing not. Stamford Bridge is out. If it was in England I'd think he'd want a Manchester area Stadium and with Fury's fan base that leaves 2 options:
Gigg Lane or Boundary Park

I heard it was Emirates.

Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
So how do you Tyson Fury fans think Tyson will beat Wladimir? Will Tyson knock him out quickly? Will Tyson wear him down and stop Wlad late? Or will Tyson simply outbox Wladimir? I'm very interested to read your takes on this.

Tyson is the best fighter on the planet. The very best. I imagine Wlad may die in the ring out of fear before a punch is thrown.

I'm not a fan of Fury, Wlad or the division really but I think that his odd ball style will pose early difficulties and he could go southpaw making it interesting. Wlad does not have a plodder in front of him or the height and reach advantage to thwart that difference. I think its quite intriguing for a change.

Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
I think Fury is just to easy to hit, no need to break this one down any further.

Tyson will out manuevre, outbox and out work Wlad. Wlad can cope withfighters who only throw one or two punches at a time but Tyson will be the first who can put combinations together.
Hes too mobile and adaptable and he has a strong will to win and can play Wlad at his own game of holding.
Wlad will tire from the pace and Tyson will stop him late.

Remember Wlad is ripped , remember what the ripped Steve Cunningham did to fury.

Im sure Tyson would treat Klitschko with a bit more respect than he did Cunningham. He promised to KO Cunningham and he did. He didnt even turn up with his trainer;)

Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
Steve Cunningham is one of the very biggest punchers out there , due to the fact he is ripped.
Wlad may be 30 lbs heavier and 3 inches taller ,with a much higher KO % but Cunningham is just as ripped so it evens itself out.
Kind Regards.
P. Fury.

Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
Watched an IFL interview with Frank. He basically said the fight is heading for purse bids and considering the Klits team have 80% of the pot he has no chance of winning.
Looks like Wlad wasn't so keen to fight over here after all.

I don't really care about Al's problems, whatever they may or may not be, Wlad will win in my opinion.

You can't knock Peter Fury. He's turned Eddie Chambers into a world beater who can now beat up any cab driver in the world.
-
Re: I'm hearing Wlad v Fury at Stamford Bridge
The build up will be hilarious and Fury will definitely get under Wlad's skin, but I really wouldn't like to say how the fight will go.
It's actually quite an interesting fight. Sure, Fury has been down, but he's always got back up again pretty quickly and seems to have pretty good powers of recovery. The sheer size and awkwardness of Fury could give Wlad problems.
Wlad is no spring chicken either, so it's difficult to say how he will handle someone like Fury if he doesn't stop him early on.

He did help Kevin Johnson before the Joshua fight, lets not forget that.
