Not a bad fight, I'd expect Cunningham has a lot more left and could bank rounds pretty easily, but he is vulnerable and Tarver is still a tricky counter puncher even if he's old as dirt.

Not exactly what you hope for when talking two top ten ranked (???) hvys mixing it up, but a couple of good thinking boxers. Both came by different means..Cunningham earned it. Tarver just kinda oozed through the door.

This could be a good fight. I want to back Cunningham.

Cunningham is ripped and anyone can get caught at HW , that is true because Peter Fury said so. Ignore his small KO % its all about being ripped.

Steve can make Tarver work. He has a high punch rate, where Tarver is the true thinker in this fight.
I like this matchup.

This just reminds me of old school heavyweight days when HW weren't huge. I like this matchup but gonna go with Tarver being able to counter punch better. Could turn into a snoozer if one of them doesn't press the action.

Personally. I can't see how Cunningham is the favourite :confused:

Despite his win against Huck, I don't think he has done much to impress and has always fell short. His style is herky-jerky and sloppy and he just reminds me of a big limp Jermaine Taylor.

Tarver is by far the smarter and more poised fighter and I think they have roughly the same output.
Maybe Cunningham is a little stronger so could try to ambush Tarver a little and move off; in-out long-limbed raids with a bit of muscle... but he is getting dropped a lot lately and think Tarver has enough to win close rounds via a knock-down-or-two, if not stopping Cunningham late in the fight.

Interesting! You know more about boxing than I do, and although I haven't paid close attention, I think of Cunningham as a pretty skilled and consistent boxer who is just vulnerable, and couldn't see the fight going differently myself. I think it's Tarver who will lose the rounds and just have a punchers chance. Years back, if Tarver had ever fought at cruiser, who knows, but he looks like shit lately to me!

lol I suspect that IF Tarver fought perfectly and the stars all aligned he COULD beat Deontay Wilder, but I doubt it.

He may well lose to Cunningham as he seems to be looking past him.

Cunningham talking about wanting drug testing for this fight then makes himself sound suspect by saying he didnt really persue the matter:-\

From what I've read and heard, there has been genuine needle between the two. Should put enough fire in the belly to ensure they are both 100% up for this. Plus it's a do or die situation for both.

Should be a fun fight :)

I don't care who knocks out Tarver I just want to see it........hit rewind and then see it again! Trash talking bullshit artist who landed 1 punch that mattered 1 time vs an old washed up RJJ. And later on Tarver got popped for PEDs....surprise surprise

I'd like Wlad to beat Tarver into submission, but if it's Wilder or even if it's Cunningham I'll be happy but I want to see Tarver brutalized.

He knocked out Wlads coach. Bump for fight night.

Not sure how to call this one, seems a real old school heavyweight matchup. This is how old heavyweights looked. Both seem to be counterpunching boxers, gonna give the aggressive edge to Tarver. I think Tarver may just time a nice left and bury Cunningham at sea.

Lots of polish fighters on the card today, although it does sound like there are some huck fans too

Good to see Huck come to the States. We need more of this with guys leaving a comfort zone. Really pulling for Cunningham!!

Anyone watching on Spike TV. That's right now, 6 PM Pacific.

Glowacki looks great so far, hurt Huck in 1st and dominated 2nd.

I have Glowacki up 3-0. He is controling the action, moving forward. Marcos only attack is to dive forward almost amteurish.

When the bell rings to end the round these guys start fighting. Huck is doing better in the 4th.

I have it 2-2 so far after 4 rounds:S

5th is a good round for Huck. It looks like he is taking control after getting Glowackis rhythm down. And Glowacki might be fading as well.

Big boy brawl here, helluva shot by Huck. Glowacki looked like he was thinking about it there

He was badly hurt but survived and now is pressing the action!!

Both fighters telegraph something awful but it's a fun fight.

Close fight Huck is coming on. He is crafty...just dropped Glowaski. Glowaski responds though and digs deep coming back into it. I think the longer it goes the worse for Huck.
