Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester

Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
the big lummox vs chisora, interesting... Depends how much Chisora has left in the tank, it will be career over if he loses this one. The big lummox didnt look too special vs Pulev...

Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester

It will be a good fight for sure. Chisora has to win though or it really is curtains for him.

Tell that to Briggs, Tarver, Toney, Mosely.
A loss means nothing these days as long as you can string a few meaninglss wins together.
Chisora is a character and brings some entertainment in the build ups and his fights and Ustinov hasnt really done alot himself. He has no decent relevant wins.
-
Chisora is a fuck up and half wit.
I had high hopes for him after his very good effort against Vitali. Then he continually shit the bed.

I'm pretty sure Warren has said this is last chance saloon for Derrick.

looking at warrens stable i think he needs to get as much as he can out of all of his fighters

Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Warren is now co-promoting Ustinov and I think they're gunna push him so I think he'll beat Chisora. Derek looked awful against Fury. He has one gameplan and no jab.

Because Fury is much better than some will ever dare give him credit for.

In the build up you said that chiz had gone shit
so fury was good but it he could have looked better because chiz was also shit
-
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Chisora is finished and has been for ages. This is probably his 2nd last payday, he'll get beat and then despite the different promoter thing, he'll be a name on Joshua's CV. Warren will let it happen (at a price) because he knows Chisora has nothing left.
After seeing him in the Fury farce, I do worry that he will get hurt bad.
-
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
You have to admire the Chiz because he's making those paydays and paying for them with contact. This is actually a winnable fight for Chiz much in the way style wise that the Nordic bed wetter was.
I mean no offense to the member of the same name but Ustinov makes Primo Carnera look like Meldrick Taylor. I'm glad its in Manchestor. In Russia they would have probably had a 10 foot ring. For the Chiz he needs to just dine and get out, dine and get out. Save the legs in training camp.

Because Firy was always clearly levels above Chisora.
Chisora will beat second rate fighters all day long and he will probably beat Ustinov too.

Haye destroyed Chisora much quicker the Fury 2 years earlier. Behave yourself.
-
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
Intriguing fight for me. While Ustinov is mainly a big punching bag, he can capitalize on flaws... so it all depends on which Chisora shows up
-
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
When was the last good showing from Chisora?

Fury could have had him out in the first. I was there close to the ring and Chisoras legs went after a left hook. Haye struggled with Chisora and was wilting until he managed to catch him.
Fury has just done an interview on Bayloric youtube channel saying he carried Chisroa to get some rounds in because of Haye pissing him round. He did, it was so easy for him it was a joke and the crowd booed becuase it wasnt competative.

What fight where you watching? Haye won every round against Chisora and finished him, he didn't wilt once. He stumbled back once after being hit after the bell and that was it. Fury wobbled Chisora a few times but he would have gone 12 had Derek's corner not pulled him out. Fury showed no signs of finishing hi Not even once. Take the rose tinted glasses off.

So the biggest thing hes done in his boxing career is being stood up by Tyson Fury due to his uncle being on his death bed.
The second biggest thing is being Chisoras sparring partner (where Chisora knocked him out) and his third is being knocked out by Pulev;D

Im not making it up.
Ingram Jones, the lad who does Bayloric TV on youtube said he was watching them spar in the lead up to the first scheduled Fury rematch and Chisora knocked him proper unconcious!
Apparently Chisora went in to a recent Press conference for Chudinov v Buglinoni where Hyrunov (Chudinov and Ustinovs promoter) was and played on a screen some of the sparring to say how shit Ustinov was. None of that has been on IFL TV and youd think it would because its Delboy being Delboy but its not on there and I reckon Warren has told them to keep it off. Whos going to buy a fight where they think Ustinov has no chance?
This is what makes me laugh with all the crap that Tyson was scared of Ustinov as they would heard heard about him getting battered by Chisora. Ingram Jones is a freind of theirs.
Ustinov got chinned by Pulev who isnt the biggest puncher. Look at the overweight version of Furys performance v Pulevs over Abell. Fury had him down whenever he turned it up and Abell had over a month to prepare for that rather than the couple of days for Pulev. He would have ruined Ustinov.
-
Re: Chisora v Ustinov July 11th Manchester
To be fair ross fury's biggest claim to fame isn't beating Chisora , Johnson etc.( both who are garbage )
It is twice being stood up be former World belt holder David Haye.;)

i watched ustinov v pulev and he didnt exactly get chinned, he took a lot of punches and then just went down out of batteration

Ok, Chisora punches harder than Pulev then.

yeah, i cant remember exactly but wasnt the final punch a jab?
i dont reckon chisora punches harder than pulev mind, chisora would be a decent fighter, id go as far as saying a serious contender, if he could punch

He wont know what to do when Fury starts with the combinations and work rate. Wlad is fine with some jabs and right hands. Will look similar to Calzaghe v Lacy;)
