Looks like this is might happen with Anthony Joshua and James Degale on the same bill

Because Sky are shelling out 10 million £ per game for the Premiership, we are having to have PPV.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
really don;t see the point of this one besides gaining more fans for Brook

Some sky manager cocked up his maths and over bid for the football so because of their incompetence they are overcharging on everything they can get away with. Sack the fucker and step on his testicles.

Based on how Brook was looking on the Sky coverage last night, he's been taking some tips from Ricky Hatton on keeping in shape between fights. He'll have a lot of weight to drop in training camp.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
the A josh fight is a very intersting one, brooke rios is a fight i wouldnt want to miss, and degales first defense

mght have just been fat tho
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
Sounds like a filler fight and it will make Brook look like he is better fighter i guess. That or it is a keep busy fight which is also good just keep him in shape since i do not think he is going to get a big fight. It should be a good watch while it lasts and have a good ko at the end of it to.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
Rios is a very good opponent for brook
rios has only lost twice, one was close and he avenged it and the other was to pac
hes got a decent record
he beat that fella who drew with bradley recently as well
if Brook was to fight Bradley would that be a bad fight?
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
I dont think its the worst fght but its not PPV worthy. Get pissed off with Sky the other night talking up what a great division 147 is. Pac, Floyd, Thurman, Porter, Brook and Rios. Throw his name in there so people think hes one of the best in the div. Hardly in the top 20 for me.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
Nice name for Kell to get on his resume over a recognised fighter who doesn’t carry the same threat/risk as other welters. His style will suit Kell down to the ground & although I was impressed with Bam Bam last time out, I think the result of that fight flattered him as Alvarado just didn’t show up. There will be no surprises in how Rios approaches the job with Kell. You can guarantee he will plod forward using his face to block punches, letting his hands go once he is in range but Kells already dealt with a higher quality brawler in Porter who was a bigger man too so this will be a more refined display of skills. The results not a foregone conclusion as Rios can swarm relentlessly and the memory of Carson Jones doesn’t seem too distant away but having said that im expecting a 118-110 kind of scorecard at the end of it. We wont learn a lot more about Kell from this fight but a win over Rios keeps him in the mix with top welters. No Going back to the jo jo dans and Frankie Gavins now

They will make it ppv and link it with Floyd and Groves on the undercard fight to justify it.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
I don't know, I like the sound of this fight. Don't know which Rios will show up but he's of the mind he needs to win or he will be irrelevant. I think he'll give brook a go, not beat him, but he'll be game. I've seen worse fights I'm sure.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
I can see Brooks stop Rios.

Just to clarify, records can be deceiving. He lost widely to Abril, yet was given a gift decision and he was losing to Chaves before Chaves got himself disqualified. Also, Bradley beat Chaves pretty widely, yet somehow that was given as a draw.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
Id be surprised if Brook doesnt stop Rios. He will land so easily and he hasnt really been in with a big 147 puncher. Im actually worried for Rios. He takes a lot of punishment and is already slurring his words. He needs to retire.
Re: Kell Brook v Brandon Rios - O2 Arena London September 12th...?
Easy money for a boxer like Brook IMO
