Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
I couldn't see a main thread for this, so thought I would get one rumbling. Tim Bradley is my favorite over emotional, heart on his sleeve pillow puncher, so of course I am going with Bradley. I hope he can keep his mood in check, put on a smart performance and get back to winning ways. Bradley decision for me.

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
I thought Bradley would win this too as I haven't thought Vargas anything special up to this point but it worried me that Bradley said he was going to fight and he's been a little too emotionally involved in the build up. I'll stick with a Bradley decision though.

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
On a side note I thought Leo Chavez lost that fight to Quintero then.
-
This video package by HBO!!!!!! That was incredible

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Helllllo Tecate gal! Thinking Bradley will be to hard for Vargas and Tomayo has a glass gut.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Hahaha, that was funny! Hopefully a few more KD's like that to keep it interesting. :p
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Not sure if that was a kd
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
foot stomp-lead left-judo trip combo. Outstanding!
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Out of all the characters mentioned for Floyd its amazing to me that Tim is never mentioned. The most deserving really.

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Valdez was hurt there in the body! Did Lamps say Kovalev doesn't use his feet???
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
I don't think all that much of Valdez here.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Valdez would do better to punch off his base. Keep it simple. he's as much open for counters as he is effective punching on that spinning shat. Again..he reacts when he takes body shots.

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Excuse me, how many undercards prior to Bradley, east coast US time is now 1030p wondering what time the main event is.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Tomayo can take quite a beating.

Bradley up next. Shouldn't be too long.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Tomayo should pour it on..Valdez has peaked and shuts down under fire.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Balls out round 10 by Valdez, closed very strong!! Lots of work to do though.

Thanks, normally I enjoy the undercards but I'm very tired. Took the night off as I got an injury last night, don't want to fall asleep before my no Bradley shows up.

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Interesting, several interviews Bradley keeps talking about power and lack of protein. The dude always looks in perfect shape and trains hard but is the vegetarian thing part to the problem. Tonight will be an interesting show for Bradley's power. Is Bradley going to fight stupid, like his trainer says sometimes. I'm looking forward to the fight.

Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley talking power, all about the power :vd:
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Did they say where Buffer is?
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley and power doesn't mix, just box and win the fights.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley round for me. Nice shot at the end got Vargas attention
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
I thought Vargas took the 2nd round. Just cleaner and more effective, Bradley at little sloppy for me in that one.
1-1.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
1 and 1 even up for me. Vargas beating Tim to the punch 2nd and backed him off.
Sometimes Bradley does half the work for a guy
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Good fight. Interesting mix of styles and pretty close. Bradley doing more, but Vargas boxing technically better.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Fuck me this is tough to score. I go with Vargas as he landed the better shots. I was leaning Bradley's way at the start but Jessie changed my mind.
2-1 Vargas.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
3-1 Bradley, but some close rounds. It's fun.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley easily takes the 4th. Bullied Jessie in that round and landed some hard shots. Bradley looks by far the stronger in there.
Good fight 2-2.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
3-1 Bradley. Morales right on the mark in corner but Vargas getting busted up slowly. I do wonder if Tim and his jab have filed divorce papers
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Great exchange at the end of the 5th there. It feels like Bradley is starting to take over here. Maybe.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley starting to take over. Jessie looking a little shell shocked the last 2 rounds.
3-2 Bradley.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Damn man..Tim got stood up like a totem pole end of 5th! That was ugly
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Good end to the round by Vargas but not enough for me, Tim just a bit too quick at times.
4-2 Bradley.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
This is more like the Bradley of old. A lot of will, throwing a lot of punches, and just going to work. 5-1 Bradley.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley is pulling away in my opinion, I've got it 5-1
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
Bradley cannot miss with that overhand right. He could get the stoppage late here because he's starting to bang Vargas up and he looks uncomfortable in there.
5-2 Bradley.
-
Re: Bradley/Vargas Fight Thread
5-2 Bradley...behind the jab he'll lump up Vargas here, smart 7th for him. He should enjoy the beat up instead of forcing it and sloppy
