De La Hoya over Vargas. Just a well executed and methodical performance. He chopped him down as each round went by.
I've said it before, but De La Hoya would have completely dominated at 154 had he started in that division earlier in his career. Unfortunately, most of the lucrative fights were in the lighter weight divisions at that time...
What about Kovalev vs Hopkins

I think you have to judge it on a truly perfect performance i.e didn't get knocked down, nothing really went wrong i.e very bad rounds etc
lewis tua as well/?
Mayweather - Gatti. He battered him for 6 rounds.
Primo Carnera over Jack Sharkey
'Il Duce' said it was the most magnificent performance ever by a Heavyweight Challenger.
'Il Magnifico'

I'd probably go with Calzaghe v Lacy.
Calzaghe beat the living shit out of a guy who was supposed to be incredibly dangerous. Even Lacy's detractors probably didn't see that beating coming.
Trinidad-Vargas
Gomez-Zarate
Rosario-Bramble
Benitez-Cervantes
Leonard-Hearns I
Douglas-Tyson
Randall-Chavez
Pryor-Arguello
Ali-Foreman
Sonny Liston in Lewiston, Maine
Maybe the 'most masterful' performance by an actor in a Comedy.
Winner of the Academy Award for Best Actor ........ Charles 'Sonny' Liston.

8. Toney vs Barkley/Charles Williams/Jirov
9. Roy vs Toney/Ruiz
10. Sweet pea Whitaker vs. Chavez/McGirt/Julio Ceasar Vasquez/Azumah Nelson
Tyson v Berbick was masterful execution and obliteration of the old champ.
Larry Holmes over 'old man' Muhammad Ali
Was there ever a more one-sided 10-Round fight ever.
A brilliant display of 'Pitch-and-Catch'.
Larry Holmes
"The look on Drew 'Bundini' Brown's face was worth the price of a ticket. As I was
beating Muhammad, I looked over at him and said >
"After tonight, you will have to get a real job you 'Fucking' leach."

Shane Mosley gave a masterful boxing performance over Luis Collazo. I was surprised to see Collazo winning & fighting still at elite level today. That to me shows how gr8 Shane was against him.
Shane Mosley gave a masterful beat down to Margarito.
Oscar wins next 5 rematches vs Tito if the opportunity was there.
Lewis vs. Tua- Tua never got into that fight at all.
Ward vs. Dawson- Dawson just did not have it and Ward had it all.
Holmes vs. Cooney- Holmes just mowed down a strong opponent. Just kept on mowing him down. Cooney was never in that fight at any point. Just brilliant execution by Holmes.
Mercer vs. Morrison- from the second round, I knew Mercer was baiting Morrison in. It only could have ended in KO by the time you got into the middle of the third. Just a matter of time. Mercer set him up beautifully.
Hopkins - Joppy
One of my all time favorites: Buddy McGirt schooling murderous punching Simon Brown. When I think of masterful performances, I picture skill and nuances (setting traps, adapting, ring generalship...etc.) possessed only by skilled fighters. Buddy showed the whole tool box the night he dominated a still dangerous/prime Brown.
