Name a fighter you would never ever support.
Ibeabuchi
Any man that gets into a boxing ring has some courage.
* Cassius Clay
* Mike Tyson
Pure filth in my book.
Broner, Andre Ward...
Margarito, Mundine.
Agree with the Margarito pick as a fighter and person.
Casamayor & Junior Witter; I just don't like their fight style.
Broker and Rios
Junior Witter
Antonio Margarito
Tyson Fury
Roy Jones jr. Have a hard time watching him call for a blood and guts warrior like Paul Williams to retire (vs Lara) as he continues to fight inept set up mismatches trying to weasel his way into a title shot at 46.
Shannon Briggs. Shut up Shannon. You were never that good to begin with. Go away.
Broner. See above
Erik Morel, Carlos Molina, Jo El Scott, Bruce Seldon...leave the childrens alone!
Ishe Smith :cwm33:
A gay one.
(1000/1 on I get a like)
I can't support any fighter that habitually disrespects other fighters. They can't seem to realize the other fighter deserves some respect for being there too.
Ali was bad that way, cute poems, nicknames, making his opponents look stupid or foolish especially in the ring and during interviews.
I disliked Ali for a few reasons, this is one of them.
Ali, a great fighter and a first class prick.
Amir Khan and probably Carl Froch...........who am I kidding, DEFINITELY Carl Froch!
For those who chose Muhammad Ali
Do you honestly believe he would support you, if you had a 'slight' difference of opinion from his.
Go ask 'Malcolm X' how his friend Cassius Clay stood by him, and watched his back.

I Rest My Case.
The trouble with boxing and the nature of the sport is that, somewhere down the line, even the fighters you hate the most end up earning your respect.
I hated Chris Eubank for a very long time, but that guy really could fight and had one hell of a heart. When he stepped in the ring against Calzaghe as a washed up shadow of his former self and fought Joe toe to toe like a true warrior, I had to admire him and I really did want him to win.
It's often only when a fighter retires that you start to really admire them. Eubank was kind of fun and good for boxing and I like him now more than ever, even if he is still a complete dickhead. I didn't much like Naz back in the day either, but he was a great fighter who always put on a show. He took the MAB defeat much better than I expected to as well. He was pretty humble about it, which came as a surprise. Had he carried on fighting I would have been behind him.
Of the current crop, I could never see myself supporting Mayweather. Not in a million years.
I would never support Leo Santa Cruz and Adonis Stevenson. They are true bitches in my book.
Obviously you never met the man. I knew Ike from the day he walked into Curtis Cokes Home of Champions gym in Dallas Tx & declared " I'm going to be Heavyweight Champion of the World & no man will ever beat me. He was right about no man ever beating him he just never reckoned on it being a lying hooker that brought him down
Ike was certainly no angel but neither was he the evil monster some people try to say he was.. Ike really suffered the fall out from Tyson's rape conviction, also a bum rap in my opinion.
The man I felt most sorry for was Curtis Cokes a great trainer & one of the good guys in boxing. Its every trainers dream to train the Heavyweight Champion of the World
Curtis transformed Ike from a crude brawler to almost the perfect boxer/puncher he was the natural successor to Lennox Lewis. It was a tragedy the way it played out Ike had the world at his feet
It's hard to say that I couldn't support a fighter but probably arreola because I hate fat HWs. Also, he just seems super annoying
Demetrius Hopkins- He had so many gift decisions go his way
Eric "Butterbean," Esch- a complete mockery/circus sideshow to boxing
"Don't worry Brother Malcolm, I've got your back."

I understand that life is about opportunity and taking the chances you are given in life but there is something about Julio Cesar Chavez Junior's delusions of entitlement that leave me absolutely disgusted.
Could never ever support that guy.
I find it difficult to support Tony Ayala, even in replays. Adonis Stevenson is another and I've never felt the same about Evander Holyfield since the 'Evan Field' stuff.
However, as an example of my hypocrisy, I do support other fighters with long criminal records:confused:
I am not really sure what it means to support a fighter. Unless you travel and go to watch all his fights then surely you are just a fan anyway. I don't really care much for the antics and attitude of Eubank Sr and Jr, and if Jr got put on his arse or sparked out I can't deny that it would be quite satisfying and pretty funny, if only to see his petulant face afterwards, but the reality is, if he got back up after a knockdown then It actually makes him more of an underdog and as a Brit I would respect him for it and like anyone else enjoy an upsetting of the applecart. If Cotto gets beaten by Canelo, I wouldn't shed any tears but I have enough respect for him as a fighter that I can appreciate his ability to win even if as a person, he is a complete dick.
A loss is sometimes a great way to gain support once fans have seen who they perceive as arrogant or coddled, or simply a bloke with a grating personality, get knocked down a peg or two. (Didn't really work for Broner though ;D )
In no particular order
Tyson Fury
Carl Frampton
Mayweather
Eubank Jr
Wladtopus
Larry Olibajuicedgrass
Dame Michelle Cotto
Chavez Pinkspeedos Jr
Marco "ow my eyes hurt" Huck
Arthur Abraham
Tony "my mouth is so much bigger than my bomber nickname" Bellew
Timothy "Hammer Head" Bradley
Lamont Peterson
Orlando Salido
I think I 'll stop now :-X ;D
How could I have forgotten David Haye. Talks his way to a title shot, then cries about a toe. That he danced and ran on all night long.
I'd support Witter & Casamayor before that fraud of a fighter.
Deontay Wilder
He's like the Riff Raff of boxing.
Here's my list guys,
Broner - a lot of talk no action.
Mundine - also talks a lot
Pablo roberto - never liked that man. just his attitude and his past.
Manny pac - he's last fight was such a disappointment and all of his managers arum, roach..., so much bullshit around boxing with these guys. before and after the game. just a bunch of faggots sucking each other off every now and then. with other words, a lot of drama.
How did I forget "THE BOMBER"!!! Tony Bellew.
Completely forgot Camacho Jr., old school...SRL. Calzaghe, Sven Ottke...Jurgen Brahmer...Felix Sturm...Sergio "the latin snake" Mora. Wlad I cant support, but I can respect his dedication.
floyd and small cock wlad
You need to simmer down again Bill.Make the odd thread the odd comment no problem with us. This site isnt a hate platform for fans to take down boxers, you just fill this place with your obsession and it accelerates when you are left to your own devices. Thats the 2nd warning not to get carried away with it. There is never a third btw.
