David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
This is for the European title. It was meant to happen the other week on the Matchroom/SKY Liverpool card, but Sauerland (Price's promoter) lost the purse bid, so now he's the away fighter.
Teper (14-0/9 KOs) is a big 33-year-old plodder. However, he has a sickening one round KO job against Martin Rogan (left him kipping with a broken jaw) and also chinned out Micahel Sprott in one round. He can punch.
Price has the power to iron out anyone in the world (barring Oliver McCall). However, he lacks confidence, has a dodgy chin (ear) and suspect stamina. If he hasn't got rid of Teper in the early rounds this could become tough for him.
Price - 1/3
Teper - 11/4
((For those that don't understand odds - £10 on Price returns £13.33/£10 on Teper returns £37.50))

The Rogan KO was classic. I hope he KTFO's the big chinless wonder!

The tin man is feeling confident, hope he isn't a big stiff idiot again.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
David Price is still fighting?
Seriously, Dave, you've got nothing left to prove. We already know that you're shit.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
good weekend of boxing innit
I really hope price wins, wouldnt surprise me in the least tho if it goes the other way
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Bit harsh calling Price toilet, he's lost to one man.
Even if he only has a few rounds in him, there's not a heavyweight in the world he wouldn't be dangerous against with his size/range and power.
I wouldn't be in the least bit shocked to see him spark Wlad let alone Wilder, Fury etc.
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Yea agree. If he was to fight Fury in his next fight hed likely be a big price. Anything above 3s Id be ploughing into.
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
I think Teper will separate the men from the boys... and David Price from his senses!
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Teper is pretty basic but can bang big time. I dont know if hes been hit hard back yet.
Price has the potential to turn him on his head but so did Audley Harrison. Does Price freeze again? I think he will.
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Price is dangerous early on and that's about it.
He has no stamina, no chin and he's extremely stiff and predictable. He's probably incredibly fragile mentally these days as well. Any top heavyweight with a decent chin is going to make short work of him.
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
It is good to see Price doing well but do see him getting smashed once he steps up to the world class level.

You are only saying that because Fury is still running from him. Been ducking him for years and now the big daft lummox is planning on fighting some Ukrainian fella in Germany, in what is a blatant ducking of the most dangerous plumber on Merseyside.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
It's an interesting clash. Who's chin holds out longest? I'd like to see Price back in the mix but I think Teper ices another Brit.
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
does teper really hit that hard?
hes not exactly been blasting everyone out
yes he smashed rogan, and it was a chilling KO but rogan fights with his chin in the air, he throws a punch and his arms drop and his chin goes up
and sprott has been KOed early a few times recently
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Think it's more about Price's lack of punch resistance than Teper's power. Although that Rogan KO alone would suggest you don't want a clump off him
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
i think price will win by knockout in round 3 or 4
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Price is capable of KOING most HWS , but he has a chin made at Pilkington's.

Bit of a defining fight, I think the bookies maybe have it right, will look for some early round odds on price. BTW have always though that TT is a very underrated fighter.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Age 22 HW Christian Lewandowski looked good today on the Price-Teper undercard, stopping an opponent who had never been stopped before.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Ring walks for Price on now.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
I knew it would be a bad night for David the 1st time he was caught because he went after the German looking to grab. Like a rabbit in the headlights. Round 2 ko of the year candidate price was laid out cold by a left hook.
The new champ looks abit flabby but might have potential. Price spent ages rebuilding in Germany but once he was let off the leash he was kod again even worse than his other ko losses. Needs to come home but I expect he'll be a stepping stone now

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.

Just give up Price - banged out by a couple of half decent punches, since his 1st KO defeat he's been mentally ruined, way way to aware/scared that his hin is shit so doesn't go forward and actually use his huge size and power advantages and just paws away.
His asshole went ages ago so it's all over.
Just proves that boxing is 50% mental at least 😉

Eric likes Bruno and now Price, see the pattern.

Hardly a devastating KO .... Maybe looked that way but not exactly brutal punches, one division you don't wanna be chinny in is the Heavyweights.
I'd give that German 2 rounds tops against AJ 😉
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
As soon as Teper put pressure on him you could see he was getting knocked out. Got wobbled first round and couldn't keep his distance. I kind of can't believe he beat Audley.
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
I took him in another challenge w/o confidence but figured he had to know this was his last shot. We dont need another Enzo. David needs to find another line of work. Something other then a bouncer.

Ok not a devastating punch but a devastating reaction to it ;D

Not a Doctor either , fuck me if a child sneezed near him he'd be sparked out 😂

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Price was broken mentally after the first clinch where Teper bullied him, clubbed him and took his legs away. He needs to retire
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Seen the fight now on Freedoms thread, Price was shook up 3 times in the first round and his legs went to jelly. Feel sorry for Price, that was a devastating knockout. It will be very hard to comeback from that now.

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
I feel really sorry for price he has no confidence in himself it's sad to see . His hands do not even block or parry his head is stationary and held very high. He has forgotten his jab and on the rare occasion he did try to throw it was thrown with confidence or conviction . He obviously has no belief in his own ability to take a punch hence the panic when under attack . It's back to british level if he decides to carry on perhaps after a break a couple of gimme's and then a few british title fights and a bit of a nice payday before he hangs the gloves up . I hope he never fights Joshua and avoids defeat by scary KO

I agree with this mate
He's got the power and the skill, he should have been beating fighters like that but there was absolutely no confidence from the start
I don't even think it was after he was hit that the confidence went, it just wasn't there in the first place
A couple of times he was stood in punching range and he did nothing, just stood still waiting to be hit
I for one thought that the first loss to thompson was a lucky punch as much as anything but it completely ended prices career

Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Price has never been the same since a 17 year old Fury dropped him;)
-
Re: David Price-Erkan Teper --- Friday/Germany/BN. Fact.
Price has become the new Enzo Maccarinelli.
-
Even worse. He's a poor mans Enzo Mac.

Enzo won a world title and beat a few ranked fighters. Even after being sparked out a few times he came back and won British, Commonwealth & Euro titles. Price not even close to that.

Shows how good my betting skills are........
Got to feel sorry for him but if you aint got it, you aint. Time to give up if you stand there and do Audley impressions.
