Great fight, hope it's true.
That would be too good to be true! As a bloke , Broner's a cock , no doubt about it. Bus as a fighter at 135 or 140, he's a talent. Provo at 140 would be very competitive. Can Broner keep Provo off him? One mistake we shouldn't make is to think Broner isn't a tough fucker! If it happens, at 140, Broner on points, although Provo will make him dig deep!
Would love to see this fight! All of a sudden Broner is very active, that's a good thing, maybe he thinks he can fill the void after Floyd retires? LOL Hey, don't laugh! Broner has high hopes!!
Give Bazooka Joe bubble gum boy credit.
He's willing to get shellacked AGAIN & AGAIN and keep smiling like an idiot.
Prov will slaughter him!
He has no power up here and prov is as tough ans more pressurising than Maidana!
Really hope it happens.
Maybe he's betting against himself.
Broner will land huge counters and can definitely win rounds but broner also hates pressure and Provo will be doing that all night long. It's a pick em fight but I'll put my money on Provo.
Provo gave Lucas Matthysse all he could handle, and then some.
You think Broner would bother him any?
Yeh I can see a Provo mauling and doing very well pushing Broner back on his wide heels. Broner forced into all kinds of exchanges while trying to pot shot and get out at same time. He is no where near active enough. If this is close to made Haymon is definitely giving Broner his 'put up or shut up' papers.
Couldn't see pic very well on mobile this morning but def not 'official'. It would also go head to head with Matthysse v Postol / Orozoco v Soto (awesome scrap

This is a good fight, did not know Arum and Al worked together. Broner has courage to take on another strong fighter. Hope he gets beat again.
Provo isn't with Arum.
Provos people have denied this is being discussed. Hopefully that's a smokescreen because this would be a very interesting fight. Will Broner stay out of the club and put in 100? Will Provo get a few of his molasses slow shots to the target? Will that lead to more and more? Will Broner pick up the pace? Or will Provo overwhelm him and signal the end of Broner?
I see this turning out like Provo vs. Bradley...Broner hanging on for dear life for a points win. Gotta give Broner a lil props for taking tough fights. Still hate his stupid trunks and personality though.
Broner doesn't do a lot but whatever he does throw is going to find the target. Let's face it, Provodnikov isn't a defensive masterclass. I think it goes to the cards and Provo gets a decision if the judges don't fuck it up.
The thing is though I can't see Broner ever making 140 again. They need to tell him if he doesn't make weight the fight is off and put a chunk of dough in escrow which he loses if he doesn't make weight.
Voiding any catchweight games and other bull$hit, Broner does move his feet enough to avoid provo for 10 rounds. Broner would need to be first and last in every exchange. I see him being first but getting caught last. It would seriously be in his best interests if Matthysse took some of the starch out of provo..
Talk about timing..Broner confirms TBA date for Oct.3 and Provo puts this on his page ;D :-X Damn Prov

This is a great fight, back Provo as well but you never know how he's going to hold up with the kind of fights he's been in. Broner ofc has taken some punishment as well now, but he generally stays dangerous late in fights and he won't have trouble landing big shots here. Could be a real war.
Undisputed- gotta disagree with you on the foot movement. He has zero footwork. What he does- is rush from one side of the ring-where he lays on the rope-like-a-dope to the other side of the ring-then lay on the rope-some-mo'.
Unlike Bradley- who throws combinations well, Broner is the antehesis- looking to potshot with no upper body movement.
I don't think he's tough- he's stupid. But hey- we all get to watch him get pounded on- and occasionally land a thudding shot.
Fights like this- will turn him into speech-slurrer. Sad, but true Oh, War Prov!!!!
Didn't see a thread on Prov vs Rodriguez last week. I just watched it & thought that Ruslan looked pretty good.
He did a good job of moving his head and getting underneath a LOT of punches. Great body work.
If he does meet Broner- I think he will fair a lot better than what it looks like on paper
What was weird- the crowd was too silent.

Just reread my comment. and was like . Good catch on the typo. There should have been a "n't" on that does. hehehehe. Sometimes the words come out so fast i forget to proof read before I sign out.
P.S. Broners stance is too wide and his tendency to lean back and away could leave him a sitting duck for that provo bomb that arcs over the top. Provo cop could rack up some brutality charges here.
Thanks for that! This did go totally under the radar, shame really as Provo is all excitement. Mixed well to head-body in combo, not too many single bombs. Be interesting to see where he lands next fight. If somehow he gets Broner I cannot see Broner having anything to dissuade him. Still far to stationary.
