Saddo poll - Where are you on Floyd

Floyd lover - Says Floyd is ATG, TBE, should be POTUS... and probably has sexual fantasies about Floyd including golden rain and lots of sweat. Criticism of Floyd makes him cry and pout and curse incessantly.

Floyd fan - Says Floyd is ATG, but concedes he might or might not be TBE. However, will defend Floyd fiercely and takes most criticism of Floyd personally. Can be objective 20% of the time.

Boxing fan who likes Floyd - Admires Floyd as a boxer, and can see his greatness... but may not like Floyd outside the ring. May also lend an ear to some arguments about how Floyd's style is not popular among most boxing fans, and how Floyd may have avoided an opponent or two. Criticism of Floyd doesn't affect him.

Boxing fan who dislikes Floyd - Grudgingly admits to Floyd's skills, but pretty much criticizes Floyd's style, and wishes Pacquiao would've knocked Floyd on his ass. For the most part wishes that Floyd will lose his "0" some time before he retires.

Floyd "disliker" - Sorry for the made up word, but I needed six options to make the categories symmetric. Anyway, the "disliker" is pretty vocal about his dislike for Floyd. Doesn't like his style... says Floyd ducked many fighters... gets into heated arguments and discussions with Floyd fans and lovers... and generally doesn't rate Floyd too highly among alltime boxers.

Floyd hater - Totally hates Floyd... doesn't rate him at all... says there's been dozens of boxers at least that are/were better than Floyd. He also hates Floyd lovers and fans. Blames Floyd for the demise of boxing. Says Pacquiao would've beaten him if his shoulder wouldn't have given out. Brings up all kinds of irrelevant sh*t to discredit Floyd.

My only criticism of Floyd is his choice of opponents. Hes clearly an ATG and pretty close to number 1 but choice of opposition keeping him away from TBE in my opinion.

Ok, so I voted "D". I'm a boxing fan foremost, and I dislike Floyd. I grudgingly give him his due, in that I think it's crazy not to consider him an ATG. But TBE? Never. As most other people, I dislike him as a person.... and as with some people, I dislike his style. That's not to say I don't admire how well he does his style.... but I just don't like it. Pac was there for the taking... and IMO Floyd missed out on making a huge statement. Doesn't matter that that's the way he's always fought. There was SO MUCH hype before the fight, that to the average fan it turned into a letdown. Don't get me wrong... I blame Pac maybe even more than I blame Floyd. IMO that was a pretty pitiful effort, in that the fight wasn't even close. In reality, though... I somewhere between C and D.

I am E but could go to a D if he was not such a prick.

Guess I'd fall under 3 with a self diagnosis but I'd also add that he's quite overrated by a certain segment and quite underrated by another.

He's a guy that's hard to like.

How can anyone tolerate his treatment of women...apart from that he is a genius in the ring and a genuis in business.

I fall into (4) or (D), but I'd like to see Floyd match or eclipse Marciano's record. I don't appreciate the way he fights or picks his opponents but he's a winner and deserves the record if it happens. Convoluted and shaky reasoning? Yeah that describes me.

I'm a big fan of Floyd the boxer. Not a big fan of Floyd as a human being.

I think he's probably the best ever, I've yet to see a better in-ring talent and I've seen them all.

Floyd's a lot like Kanye West. I think he's a huge douche but I have to give the guy his due: he's created a multitude of classic albums that he has written, produced and performed himself (which is virtually unheard of in pop music) and he's written and produced a multitude of classic albums for artists.

So you can say he's a douche, he's an idiot, you're not a fan of his music, ect, but you can't say the man isn't a great artist.

I don't grudgingly admit to Floyd's skills or criticize his style. He is a fantastic fighter in my book. Whether or not I like him has no bearing on that

I voted C...Resume is solid but not one that makes you say ok this guy fought the best when they were at their best. His style is solid but he never goes for it, he is content to get a decision even when he could probably get the k.o... One of the best counter punchers/defensive fighters I have ever seen though, with a decent jab and that counter short right cross. Ring generalship is top notch, the one thing I tend to dislike lately is his personality, seems to get worse the more fame and money he gets. His father obviously didn't teach him how to be a good man just a good boxer.

Boxing fan who likes Floyd-
-I hate how he treats women. Think it's deplorable.
-I don't think he is TBE, but don't think he's far from it.
-I admire Floyd's skill and work ethic, but hate the safety first style he has adopted in the ring the past few years. I miss the days when he wanted the stoppage.
-I think Floyd fought the best competition he could, but that some big fights got away due to timing, politics, bad luck...etc. That being said, I feel like Hop, Evander, Oscar, Shane, and Tito all fought tougher competition than Floyd did.

Tremendous skills, tremendous self motivation and business mind, not a fan at all. I look forward to his retirement the longer the promising welters stay stagnate and he instead beats on the speed bag that is Andre Bertos ample head.

i am of the opinion the poll needs another option as well

i have no problem with his style in the ring, its not the most exciting but i appreciate his talent

he is a complete bell end outside the ring though, i dont think theres ever been a pound for pound bigger bell end in boxing

by calling out mayweather all the time all fighters like khan are doing is making him a bigger name and making him more money

an amazing thing would be if berto turned down the floyd fight on the grounds of floyd being a such a bell end

i realise that would never happen though

I dislike Floyd but I don't "begrudgingly" say he's skilled next to RJJ he's one of the more dominant and impressive forces I've ever seen box. I don't think he's the greatest of all time, but he's a great fighter, I am disappointed he never unified any division but there are so many belts now a days I understand that it's complicated and it doesn't always make $ sense to make those fights.


So boxing fan between liking & disliking Floyd, but I REALLY dislike his attitude. You can't call someone a bum every second of every day before the fight and then want that pat on the back for beating the guy.

I dislike the fighter for the way he did manage overcarefully his career.
