Fight will be at 140 and will be for the vacant WBA 'regular' belt at 140lbs. Garcia is super champ but he'll be vacating and title is vacant because Vargas gave it up to fight Bradley. Amazing Broner loses a fight and is immediately given an opportunity to be a 4 weight world champion. His career is looking very manufactured.

That's disappointing, I thought he was going to fight Provodnikov.

Two guys coming off of loses fighting for a "world title" haha, but hey that's boxing, right?

Belt Rot. Not to be confused with Root Rot but guilty of the same effects from the same cause. Belt rot is a condition found in all boxing Organizations although much more common in the Wba and Wbc because of poor drainage. As the name states, the Belt begins to rot do to over watering ending in decay.

Adrien Broner vs who?????

I'm not one of those "glory days" fans, but it must have been nice back in the days when you had to win a bunch of fights in a row to get a shot at a title, when you had to actually fight at the weight division (and not a special catchweight) to win that division's belt, and when you actually had to fight and win a world title (and not have it "bestowed" on you when some other guy got stripped of it).

This is a good fight for me. Khabib was robbed against Vargas so should already be a world champ. This wont be easy for Broner and a loss here pretty much ends his career.

I bet Broner doesn't make weight. Or if he does make it it's due to training in a sauna for the last week before the fight. I'm going to pick him to lose anyway.

So they and the wba actually "requested" him ;D. This is simply trying to put the magic back in the hype hat and sell himself on "four division champ" rather than actually winning the big one :-X Its a hoodwink. Khabib is decent but will be very undersized and off long layoff. His TD against Guzman should be a KO..he beat him UP, and Vargas was very close..not a robbery.

If this guy has, or at least has a claim to have beaten Joan Guzman and Vargas, I don't see why this shouldn't be at least a good fight. Guy is also only 24 and a southpaw, he'll know this is a huge chance for him as well. If he has a career best camp for this one and Broner fights the way he has been, who knows?

Disappointed with Khabib's inactivity but I hope he can pull out the win. I'm sure everything will be stacked against him.

Broner will surely be the worst 4 weight "world" champ ever if he wins. Khabib for the vacant WBA lightwelter title. Both coming off a loss.

Superfeather - Vacant WBO title against Vicente Martin Rodriguez.
Lightweight - Antonio DeMarco for WBC title.
Welterweight - Paulie for WBA title.

On a side note - Guzman was well past his sell by date when he fought Khabib. And on another side note - Guzman in his pomp would have schooled Broner at any weight.

It's weird because broner was looked at by some as the next big thing in boxing. He was supposed to be the next superstar. Now he has embarrassed himself and doesn't want to talk to the media because his gimmick is pointless now.

He was too cocky for his own good and didn't seem to want to put in the effort to learn some basic fundamentals.

i remember not too long ago when broner was offered a shitload of money to sign to fight, but he refused saying it was slave wages. i bet he regrets that shit now!!! i hope he gets ko'ed. and im from 90 miles away in louisville.

Are they going to let Broner enter the ring with that dead cat on his chin? Showtime embarrassing itself with some of this used car sales pitch they're spouting :-X

Go Pedraza!!

Pedraza winning these rds but Cherry getting his digs in to end round 4.

Pedraza can outbox Cherry and needs to keep the distance he was keeping earlier.

Good 6th round for Cherry and he's starting to catch up to Pedraza but he has to keep it going as he's way behind imo.

Another good Rd. Thought Edner won it but Pedraza landed nice in the last 30 seconds. Good scrap after 7

Close rd 8. I think Pedraza controlled it though. He kept his lead on the outside all 3 minutes and steered the action.

Cherry seems to have seized the momentum. Pedraza needs to box more from outside.

9 and 10 both pretty close. I still got Pedraza ahead by a couple but he does look a little fatigued and is getting increasingly sloppy.

Cherry stuffed him nice there. body language huge for him when he churns on the inside

11th round to Pedraza.

The sad part is you can see the Cherry robbing coming.

Another coin toss round. Ringside has it a draw after 10 so... This is the rd then. 12 or bust.

Way to bring it home, damn it!

I never did a card but this was a pretty even fight and the last three never made it any easier. It could go to either by SD and that's fine or even a draw would be ok but as long as the cards dont show a blow out.

I had Cherry winning 7 rounds to 5. He most likely lost 11 rounds to 1
