Larry Holmes: Definitely the ugliest Heavyweight Champ in history.....Dude had a high-top fade for so long, they came BACK in style...
He had an ugly wife too. They must have hooked up in high school or something..

The moment Wright dropped his hands and mugged at Mosley. Shane had zero answers. I think Hopkins has done this more than a few, Pavlik, Joppy or Echols. Think what ya want..when on point Hopkins could make you inept. Its like controlling someone and just beating them up was more satisfying than actually ending the show. Bowe beating the bald off Gonzalez.

Sure that's why when he was Ali's sparring partner & Ali blacked Larry's eye. Larry wouldn't let them ice it . He said leave it I want to show everyone back in Easton & say
"Ali did this" That's why he cried after the Ali fight saying " That man was my hero"
Holmes would have been a very easy fight for Ali in 66

Mike Tyson did the same shit after beating Larry's ass. Having respect and admiration for a man does not mean that you can't beat the man.

I think Lewis' caution had more to do with him being psychologically affected by his fluke knockouts at the hands of Oliver McCall and Hasim Rahman (more recent).
