I'm such a big Roy Jones fan I'd have had him retired after the 1st Tarver fight, like he was going to.
That's just a personal choice, obviously if I had the chance I would prevent a death like Salvador over letting RJJ retire with dignity.

You beat me to it. I'm a huge fan of Meldrick Taylor (and Chavez), and think he deserved to win that fight, even though I think his career after outlive ended up the same regardless. Taylor was too tough for his own good but I would've loved to have seen him at least have the memory and pride from winning that fight.Quote:
