Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Becoming fond of these Tuesday night shows. Sort of reminds me of the old USA cards..minus Albert and O'Grady on the mic ;D In the main event Javier Fortuna 28-0-1 takes on Carlos Ivan Velesquez 19-1. Promising Domonique Dolton 17-0 and Oscar Molina 13-0 get it on also.

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Dolton has happy feet, lots of herks and jerks coming in. Molina found a few spots in between. Two totally different approaches. Dolton needs to settle down..Molina takes 2nd. 1-1
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Ohhhhh! Dolton seriously hurt start of 3rd. Huge right hand left hook sends him reeling..Floyd Mayweather seeing Mickey Bey ghosts ;D
On a side Dolton is a dead ringer look alike for Jamie Fox. this fight is fire over smoke

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
I really dig this tues boxing thing. Fits well into my schedule. I also appreciate Spicoli reminding us. Definitely looking forward to this eve. Also, any links yet for wilder, I was working so I missed the fight. Actually, should be on YouTube by now, I'll check it up. Off topic but I have a new job prospect which may allow me to resume enjoying boxing on the weekends again. Until then the links posted are always appreciated. Actually, here I am bitching but it must be a pain in the ass for the European trying to catch a live broadcast from the US. Do you going yourself giving up a day's sleep to catch a match. I try not to do it but at least a couple times a year. I'm very jovial with my coworkers but they know if a big fight has taken place, I may not be at my best.

Good on ya for finding a flexible schedule and more airtime. Back in the dumb days I actually turned down a top position because it was nights ;D Hindsight being 20/20 it all worked out, and hardly missed a card ha. Tuesdays are a grind last few months, usually walk in burned out after 12 hr and a live card is just what's needed. That and dinner but I stopped short with a longneck and just managing to get the first boot off ;D. I don't know how they do it across the pond staying up into the A.M to catch a main event. Now that's dedication..and or insomnia.
Dolton is one who looks in need of his feet and hands getting on the same page, drags and taps his right foot 'fronting' with hands not moving, eats left hook. missed last couple rounds. Virgil hunter puts Teddy Atlas metaphors to shame...different ways to break into houses???

Nothing mentioned about a cut. Exchanges heating up on both sides.

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Man, Dolton has a fetish for left hooks! He drags into a square position and the head is stock still. Should be comfy ahead on hustle and activity though
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Yeah, Dolton definitely has the momentum. Molina seems to be investing heavily in that haymaker left hook.
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Very gritty inside stuff by both in last round, Dolton has the wheels turning and hitting him top to bottom. Good scrap!

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Dolton deserved the nod, but can't complain too much about a draw, I guess.
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
97-93 Dolton...95-95 x2...draw. Ehh. Def did not see a draw. Work rate should have won this for Dolton

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Andrew Tabiti vs Tamas Lodi . Tabiti is fun TV.
Did Paulie just say 'Jay Nady Pffft' ;D

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Floyd behind the mike? I don't know..... ;D

Not surprised they stopped the fight. Tabiti would've killed him in the first 15 seconds of the next round.

Yeh great straight right, at first it looked a lil theatrical like he was jumping to look for a dropped contact lense

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Amped for the main event. A battle between guys from two neighboring, little Caribbean islands. Dominican Republic are our neighbors, and in recent years have been getting the better of us at baseball..... but tonight I'm expecting a little payback, and for the homeboy to lift the title belt from Fortuna.
;D

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Don't know much about Velasquez but being cold cocked by Rico Ramos style might be a red flag. Then again Fortuna gets sloppy and can be caught jumping in.
Fortuna nose cut
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Damn..... what a fugly fight so far..... :-\
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
As skilled as he is Fortuna fights like a drunk Hank Lundy, that said Velasquez literally caved in after hard right to ear..up and struggling in 3rd
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Surprised Fortuna has not been caught cold with those wide crazy shots.
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Kids nose just exploded! I hope he catches Fortuna for that careless disdain
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Velazquez's punches are wide.... he looks slow and amateurish next to the slicker Fortuna.
Other than that there's nothing wrong with him.
:-\

I have no dog in this fight Toto so I throw my hat in the ring to back you up.

Admittedly had seen little of Velazquez before tonight.
Not overly impressed so far....

Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Poor dude looks like he motorboated a bowl of marinara, doing well to stay in and come back from that KD if anything. Fortuna setting him up
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Fortuna couldn't miss Velazquez's nose in the last half of that round.
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Call this one absolute domination over 8 so far, Fortuna rocks him with right uppercut at the bell.
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Will be surprised if Velazquez comes back out after that.
-
Re: Tuesday Night Fights on FS1
Any trainer who asks his battered fighter if "they're" going to ten should be sacked

You are lucky people to get this and on a Tuesday.

Normally the slowest day of the week in sports (no Monday or Thursday night football).
