And of course for a Vasquez fight they had to make the ring the size of a football field ;D He's out crafting Mendez in some ugly awkward exchanges. Mendez frustrated and trying to time him jumping in, but looks a bit clueless backing up. Vazquez wreckless activity and cleaner shots winning this so far over 6
Very nice couple of straight rights by Mendez have Vasquez shelling up for a minute, walking him down a bit last part of round and won this one clear.

Just joined you guys, can't tell you how much I dislike watching Vazguez! He looks to be giving Mendez all he can handle. As bad as this fight is, it's the best one I've seen Vazquez in. I have to say I didn't see the whole thing.
Mendez with the win...99-91 though???
I hope I never see Vazquez again, glad he lost!

Uzcatequi absolutely brutalized young Jackson in 1st! Three knockdowns and frankly could have stopped it. Had roles been reversed...no doubt it would be over. Out for 2nd
Wow. That's what they call the house collapsing on you. Ref waves off after another KD, Jackson had zero left on the stool. Great blitz and win by Jose Uzcategui! Ahh the roller coaster of this brutal but beautiful sport goes on.
Heck of a fight, it was all Uzcatequi. He could have ended it in the first round but he was a little too excited to stay in a neutral corner. Jackson never recovered form the first KD!
Looked a good matchup on paper. I didn't see the odds but assume Jackson was the favourite?
Poor Jackson got blitzed and never recovered. He showed great heart to keep getting up.
All those guys in the audience with those chef hats must have felt pretty silly lol
Good question. Not sure of official odds but def felt like they were trying for a Jackson coming out party. It was odd rewatching Jackson in interview, wonder if he's in it for the right reasons.Quote:
