Big risk, big task and he's up against as we know a very good fighter in fonfora. Anybody think he could get the win?
Both have similar styles... Cleverly likes to use Flurries and neglects his D while Fonfara is a straight punch grinder who is looking to break you. Both have pretty good chins... so based on these infos, Cleverly could end up being the busier fighter.
Talent and ability-wise it's a close match-up, but Cleverly appears to have lost his confidence since the Kovalev fight.
I've always said that fonfara isn't very good but I don't think cleverly has it anymore so fonfara probably wins because of desire.
Only realised this fight was on when I read boxing weekly. Hope he pulls it off.

Although Cleverly was a decent champion, he really got derailed against Kovalev, and the way that Sergey has progressed has really told us a lot about what Cleverly was up against at the time.
The problem is that he's gone straight back in to a world title fight with just the one knockout of a nobody since his SD defeat to Bellew. Fonfara is good, but not great, and I think Clev has a shot, but my head says Fonfara will probably get the win.
Koki Kameda also on the bill, hope he can pick up a win in his fight too.

Crazy action in this fight! Kono is kicking Kameda's ass! Could have been a classic except for the ref.
Nice 1st for Clev. He may fight like a spaz but he rolled in some nice head jarring shots.

Cleverly has a Maths degree. Maths is easiestly the hardest scientific discipline. He needs to use his undoubted brain and retire now and use his degree.
Whwt a great fight that was.
Cleverly was toe on toe for whole fight and put on a heck of a show. Fonfara jut seemed to have that extra sting in his punches and won the fight by 2,3 maybe 4 rounds. Up there with fight of the year though , I'll post the link when I get it.
They did not slow down! Damn, heck of a fight, too bad there had to be a loser. Cleverly is a seriously tough guy.
