Previously...on LOST!
Previously...on LOST!
A man awakes in a jungle.
He is bruised and bloody, and doesn't know where he is. A yellow Labrador Retriever watches him from the trees, then suddenly runs off. He forces himself up and winces in pain, leaning against a tree. He checks his jacket pocket and finds a small bottle of vodka. Recognition of where he is begins to float across his face. He winces back the pain and begins to run through the trees, reaching a beautiful beach.
He hears sounds — people screaming. He wanders around a bend and finds what has brought him here — a plane crash, survivors in shock. A man trapped beneath wreckage. A woman not breathing. A pregnant woman screaming for help. He runs to help those he can, and rallies the others to help him.
One of these strangers asks his name: "Jack."
The multiple Emmy Award-winning Lost returns for a second season of action-packed mystery and adventure that will continue to bring out the very best and the very worst in the people who are lost.
After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. But they discovered that the island holds many secrets, including the intense howls of a mysterious creature stalking the jungle, as well as a polar bear, a marooned and possibly crazy French woman, a mystical boar, a mysterious group known only as "The Others," a ship called The Black Rock and... a hatch...and that's only the first season!
The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 40-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.
Lost stars Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Mr. Eko, Naveen Andrews as Sayid, Emilie de Ravin as Claire, Matthew Fox as Jack, Jorge Garcia as Hurley, Josh Holloway as Sawyer, Daniel Dae Kim as Jin, Yunjin Kim as Sun, Evangeline Lilly as Kate, Dominic Monaghan as Charlie, Terry O'Quinn as Locke, Harold Perrineau as Michael, Michelle Rodriguez as Ana Lucia and Cynthia Watros as Libby.
Lost was created by Jeffrey Lieber and J.J. Abrams & Damon Lindelof. Abrams, Lindelof, Bryan Burk, Jack Bender and Carlton Cuse serve as executive producers. Lost, which is filmed entirely on location in Hawaii, is from Touchstone Television.
For those of you who have never seen the show...I encourage you to do so...for those of you that have & watch religiously like I do...it's time to break out into the thick of things.
Anyone who wants to discuss the show & the many mysteries...please feel free...let's chat...anything goes as this is Wackoland.
Talk to me people talk to me!!!

Re: Previously...on LOST!
Alright girls...it's getting towards crunch time...the season will be ending I believe within a few episodes or so...things are heating up...any thoughts...any questions...let's get crackin! Here's what happened on the last Episode for those that missed it:
S.O.S.
Air Date: 04/12/2006
When Bernard attempts to recruit people to build an SOS sign on the beach, Rose uncharacteristically defies him, telling him that he shouldn't give everyone false hope.
FLASHBACKS reveal the source of her hesitation, as we highlight Rose and Bernard's love story from the day they met to the day he proposed. When Bernard takes a knee, Rose confesses that she is sick and has less than a year to live. But it doesn't deter Bernard -- he loves this woman and wants to marry her, regardless.
We follow their hopeful love affair through to their honeymoon in Australia to learn that it was, in actuality, a ploy by Bernard to get Rose to see a faith healer in an effort to cure her terminal cancer. Rose clearly isn't a believer, but goes along with it to satisfy Bernard. And though the healer tells her that he cannot help her, Rose decides to let Bernard think that he did. Her hope may be gone, but she is going to preserve his.
On the island, Rose finally comes clean and admits to Bernard that she was lying to him. She confides that after the crash, she began to feel better and that she suspects it was the island that fixed her. Bernard has a difficult time believing this and maintains that it was Isaac who did the healing. But Rose is insistent. And in the final flashback we find out that her conviction lies in the fact that she saw John Locke, on his feet on the island, in a wheelchair at the airport.
Bernard realizes that Rose doesn't want to be rescued because she thinks she might get sick again. And in an act of faith and love, Bernard vows to stop work on the SOS and tells her that they will never leave the island.
Back in the hatch, Locke attempts to draw the map he saw on the blast door from memory. But his commitment is clearly waning and he leaves the hatch in frustration. It's not until Rose convinces him to maintain faith, that Locke returns with a sense of renewed purpose and continues drawing.
Meanwhile, Jack and Kate go out on a mission to attempt to trade Henry for Walt. While they wait for Mr. Friendly to make an appearance, Michael stumbles out of the jungle and collapses at their feet.
For those that aren't in the know as to who the characters are...I promise you that you should tune in either way.
As of Wednesday April the 26th, 2006 (this week) the Episode may go into a death of one of the original cast members from the front of the plane...Michael.
Rumors are that the tail & front members of the plane gang up to fight the Others for Walt & Michael get's the axe.
We shall see...
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!
Well this hasn't taken off yet, hopefully they'll have a new one next week.
What map on the blast door, was that something I missed or am I just forgetting something?

Re: Previously...on LOST!
BTW, the opening scene of the first episode of this season was the shit, watched it again
Can't get that song out of my head though, you've gotta make your own kind of music :D

Re: Previously...on LOST!
Oh and Walt can control animals, first season he was mad and that bird came flying through the window, then he made the dog turn around and go back, now you can make a dog come to you, but turn around and run back? That's why the others want him, they think he can control things, maybe even that cloud.
Ok that's pretty weak now that I look at it ;D Sorry just trying to liven this thread up by myself.
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!

Agreed. That is one of the coolest parts about the first season...I cant wait until they get Walt back from the others & get into that shat.
Agreed. Thought of that...I was wondering if he had the ability to control the security system.

I'm a bit bent right now...& so is Ouma ;D but we'll do our best right now...these are random happenings & not in any order...I'll throw some out...Ouma will too.
SPOILERS FROM THE FIRST SEASON...ONE AT A TIME:
Wacko's 1st Spoiler: Sawyer, Michael, Jin, & Walt build a raft & sail away from the Island & the other survivors in an effort to get help. They are successful...they make it off of the Island only to run into help on a motorized boat. The men on the boat look like deep sea fishermen. They are armed & scruffy as fwock. They appear eager to help & then tell the 3 men that they want the boy (Walt) they shoot Sawyer, Jin jumps in to help, Michael (Walts dad) falls off the raft & the OTHERS (on the raft) blow up the raft leaving the 3 men in the water miles off the Islands coast & take off with Walt. (SEASON FINALE!)

Re: Previously...on LOST!
One that a lot of people missed...
At the start of the first season...just after the plane crashed on the Island...John Locke...a survivor that got on the plane in a wheel chair...get's up & walks away from the crash...CRAZY as that is...that aint what I'm gettin to that's spoilerish.
Locke is sitting on the beach as the tide is coming in & he's playing back gammon.
Walt comes up & asks him what he's playing. Locke explains the game & what the two black & white die are that he's playing with...8-10 episodes in...the survivors are hiking through the jungle & they find a set of caves.
They find a pair of severely decayed corpses...nearly skeletal remains...it's a man & a woman judging by the clothes & the hair & so on & so on...anyways...what do they find on the corpses?
Locke's back gammon pieces.
Later on in the second season...two cast members...two prominent cast members are seen playing Locke's game...coincidence? ;D
The show's the bomb!!! Watch it bitches...& let's talk.

The second season is almost over.
Yeah...you have to keep your eyes peeled for all the character crossovers.
Before they all go on the plane...their lives all crossed paths in some small way or another.
There's an Iraqi soldier/interegator who is a big character on the show...when it flashes back to his life as an Iraqi interegator he's doing some dirty work for the U.S. gov over in Iraq & the U.S. commander pays him & make a long story short he shows Said a pic of his daughter & it's Kate...another main character on the island...so their lives all cross & intertwine from time to time & then they all get on the same plane that crashes...very nutty.
Animals pop up everywhere...apparently Walt has some connection/power/latent ability where he can control animals also...nutty stuff.
No one knows anything really about the Others...but they do appear to be quite possibley scientists/researchers of the Island that could have been there setting up the facility on the Island before the plane crash...
I shit you not...you have to see the show. It's amazing. Go out & buy it or order it off of Amazon on DVD.

damn, killed off three characters in about 5 seconds, WTF
That sucks in a way cause Micheal was one of the best characters IMO
Maybe he was like brainwashed or something, but he seemed kind of upset about doing it
Both of the people killed were from the other camp, but I don't think he meant to kill Libby, maybe he had to get dude out for Walt
I don't know, that was confusing
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!
How many episodes are left this season?
Talk about a fucking cliffhanger, next week should be good
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!
One of the girls is gonna live...gotta be Libby.
Here's my thoughts...Henry Gale is the big man of the Others.
He's the head guy.
THey got Michael & used Walt to get Michael to come back & free Henry.
Could be wrong...bu tthat';s my drunk ass thoughts.
Also...Jack's dad went to Australlia to see his daughter...who woul dhave to be Australlian...who had to have gotten on the same plane that Jack & Anna Lucia got on to come back to the U.S.
The same plane (Oceanic 815) that preggers Australlian Claire got on & crashed on the Island slapping them all together.
How about that Hanso commercial that they showed...that was a trip.
Something about prolonging mankind or someshat?

Re: Previously...on LOST!
Looked at it again and he kinda shot himself in an odd way, if you want to kill yourself it would seem like you would shoot yourself straight in the chest or stomach, or more likely in the head. This was kind of an angle, it almost looks like a shoulder shot. Maybe he's the one that's still alive, and he did that so he could let Henry go, for Walt or something, but not make it seem like he did it on purpose. To make it seem like somehow Henry got the gun, shot Micheal, who lives, and then shot the other two.
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!
Now I'm pretty certain that Michael didn't kill himself after watching it again. It wasn't a chest shot or anything, it was angled.
So why would he have done all that?
Maybe the Others brainwashed him in some way but I don't think so cause you could tell he wasn't happy about doing it. Or it was some kind of a deal to get Walt back. Or maybe it was a way to get everybody angry and willing to fight the Others. But I don't think its that cause Ana already told him that they were getting the guns to go after the Others. So I think its some kind of a deal for Walt.
Which makes me think that Mike was full of shit when he said that the Others weren't that strong
Also Michael didn't come back with his gun, at least I didn't see it.
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!
Have your mind blown a bit further! The video tape that they found on the Island regarding the Dharma Initiative & the Hanso Foundation.
http://www.bigspaceship.com/archive/hanso/mission.html
"The Hanso Foundation stands at the vanguard of social and scientific research for the advancement of the human race. For forty years, the foundation has offered grants to worthy experiments designed to further the evolution of the human race and provide technological solutions to the most pressing problems of our time.
The Hanso Foundation: a commitment to encouraging excellence in science and technology and furthering the cause of human development."

He gave his self a shoulder shot. He'll be back next week with his arm in a sling & the season will close with the survivors of Oceanic Flight 815 prepping for war against the Others (Hanso's/Dharma Initiative's) with what's left of the tailies as they all appear to be getting the axe fairly quickly.
Mr. Ecko seemingly falls off a fwockin cliff or some shat...atleast that's what the preview showed...along with Michael in a sling.
As for Walt...the Hanso Foundation has to be using him in some sort of genetic experiement because Walt can control animals or talk with them atleast & the H Foundation is all about further genetic research & evolution in humanity. Walt is the key.
They keep hinting around that the plane was crashed (the electromagnet in the hatch & the cables that power it that run into the ocean) there for numerous reasons...Walt being one of them, Locke being another reason, & also...Hurley...his luck association with the numbers & the fact that Libby & Leonard were in the nut ward with Hurley & Leonard is where the numbers/code originated from.
Everyone on that plane is intertwined at some point for some reason...it's insane.

So why would he have done all that?
Michael (IWO) was caught by the others while hunting Walt...he was sent back in exchange to free Henry Gale (the Other in the vault) at any costs to save Walts life.
They aint gonna fwockin give Walt back for no gotdam Henry Gale.
One of two things is going on with Henry...he was sent there to get Locke...that's already been established...but HG is either the big man trying to infiltrate the camp to figure out what they know about that hatch or he's going to go back to camp with the info & then get wacked when the Michael trading for Walt issue comes up.
Then again...I could be wrong...because I had no GOTDAM clue that the murders Michael committed were coming! NO CLUE!!!
Fwockin AWESOME!!!
What can I say...I'm a fan boy...the show is the shat & it just keeps getting better.

I don't think that he was brainwashed...I just think that he's that desperate to get Walt outta there...then again...Claire was brainwashed as a muthafwocka!
Maybe to get everyone to go in guns blazing...but I think that it's a bit more devious than that. That shat was orchestrated with precision. He wants Walt back by any means necessary.
Its a deal to get Walt back...& you know that that shat has to come to light...& Michael will be ousted from camp & could become an other...if he survives the battle that has to be coming.

Re: Previously...on LOST!
NEXT WEDNESDAY. “?” Eko flashbacks. (The question mark doesn’t mean we don’t know the title; the question mark IS the title. It refers to the thing in the middle of the blacklight map on the blast door.) “Mr. Eko enlists Locke to help find a secret location he believes houses answers to the island's mysteries. Meanwhile, Jack and the other survivors struggle to cope with the horrific situation in the hatch.
MAY 17. “Three Minutes.” Michael flashbacks. “A determined Michael convinces Jack and several castaways to help him rescue Walt from 'The Others.' Meanwhile, Charlie struggles with Eko's decision to discontinue building the church. Guest starring are Malcolm David Kelley as Walt, M.C. Gainey as Mr. Friendly, Tania Raymonde as Alex, April Grace as Ms. Klugh and Michael Bowen as Pickett.”
MAY 24. “Live Together, Die Alone.” Desmond flashbacks! The two-hour season finale. J.J. Abrams was on the Howard Stern Show on Monday and described the episode as “mind-blowing.” “After discovering something odd just offshore, Jack and Sayid come up with a plan to confront ‘The Others’ and hopefully get Walt back. Meanwhile, Eko and Locke come to blows as Locke makes a potentially cataclysmic decision regarding the ‘button’ and the hatch.”
That’s right. Desmond flashbacks AND an Eko-Locke brawl! That could be good!
-
Re: Previously...on LOST!
I like Locke but I'll take Eko by unanimous bitchslap
I guess that means Eko doesn't dye next week, not surprising, they wouldn't have put him falling in the preview if he had actually died from it.
