Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
From a 18,000 packed O2 to a shopping centre in front of one man and a dog. Madness.
Anyway... I like Blackwell. Better than his record suggests. Could be closer than most will think.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
yeah Blackwell is a good fighter clearly, puts everything into the fight, good to watch
lost 3 but one was against Martin Murray after only a few fights and another against BJS not too many fights later
I don't think murray would find it as easy now

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
I didnt like the look of Blackwell last time out and didnt think he looked anything special against Ryder. Blackwell looks similar level to Spike in my mind and should be a straight forward win for Eubank.

I wouldn't disagree with that
I think Blackwell would beat spike though

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
It does seem a step backwards fighting Blackwell (I remember this fight being touted a couple of years ago). Be disappointing if Jr doesn't outclass him, however, I think Jr is a bit overrated.
I'd rate him closer to Blackwell level than Danny Jacobs.

I dunno yet, well have to wait and see
if he develops a bit more power then he could be very good

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
Nick Blackwell is exciting and deserves this fight.
This will be on channel 5 and brings back Eubank to the people. Mainstream fans can watch him again.
Eubank wins this in an exciting all action fight.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
You mean it brings Jr back to a channel that will have zero promotion so nobody will know it's even happening.

Stop being a boxing snob.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
Fenster v Master
same old shit every thread ;)
Ross v Primo
same old shit every thread
thing is, I haven't got an arch enemy and id like one

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
I'm just stating the truth. Personally I don't care what channel the fights are on but being on "free" TV means nothing these days, apart from less people will know you're fighting, even if, paradoxically, more people watch.

Master is a massive boring cunt but at least he doesn't multi-quote the fuck out of every thread just to call me a massive boring cunt.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
Do not call this a Marquez vs Chris John, this is Junior not taking orders from promoters and being controlled by them.
Eubank obviously is taking his time and going down the traditional route of winning british, Commonwealth and European titles first. Once you go into world class it is difficult to go back a class, unless your name is Wilder.

Why would he want to go back once he'd gone into World Class? Bearing in mind, we're talking about someone who "would beat Golovkin tomorrow!" , someone who "would beat every MW & SMW in the World apart from Ward." , someone who "has seen flaws in Golovkin that he can expose."

All dads say that about their son. I am sure Junior is great in the gym but does not show that class in all his fights yet.

Now now now, don't take things so literal. I like the kid. Bluewater shopping centre and the date just pulled that comment out.

The Flaws comment was made by Jr. And all Dads don't say that about their kids.

Ha ha! Fair enough, there's no arguing with that I suppose.😂😂😂😉

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
I'll be disappointed and probably rate Eubank a lot less if he doesn't stop him within 6 rounds - Blackwell looked very average last time out. Known for being a slow starter too so Eubank in 2 or 3 wouldn't be a shock
-
re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
I also think this should be an early night for Eubank.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
I am particularly interested in getting some Fray Bentos pies, they can be as much as £2.50 but if you shop around you can get them for a £1. Would it not be a good idea if the beer girls just delivered your pints and then took a shopping list to collect bargins for you while you were watching the boxing?
Seems pretty damned civilised to me.

You sure he didn't say Madonna?

That would be a good idea forget the under card and just have a singer or comedian and during the break have the boxing match and then get back to the entertainment.

Please don't disrespect Master's dad.
He clearly stated -
Master was a better footballer than Madonna and a better singer than Maradona.

Look at @armin avatar that is funny. Poor old Broner.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
Yes, the Eubanks have seen some flaws in Golovkin they can expose. They're sure they can beat him, they're just going to bide their time. LIke Eubank senior did with Roy Jones.

re: Eubank Jr-Blackwell - March 26th/Wembley Arena
Update this thread.
Still a bizarre/backwards decision but being British champ is something to be proud of... that's if he wins of course.
Channel 5. Master can pretend he's watched it.
Hughie Fury against a top 10 opponent (top 10 of what?) on the undercard.

Quality boxing, on mainstream channel.
Beautiful.
Appreciate it.
