Yeah , just saw that . I'm gutted to be honest, Mitchell is one of my favourite fighters , I was at the O2 when he fought Johanssen, it was a cracker. Mitchell is a proper boxer with good "old school" mentality.Quote:

Great news and a long time coming. Wish the best for him and like to see him concentrate efforts Stateside with a few fighters. Still don't get the whole Russian citizenship thing.
I think the Russian citizenship was more part of a business venture than anything else. The guy promoting his fights was using him as a front man for a bunch of gyms/fitness centres/boxing gyms. Maybe after that last sparkage he doesn't have enough cachet over there to have any commercial value. Somehow I can't see him learning Russian and living over there now.
