4. (I know it's a compilation/greatest hits album but) Endless Summer - The Beach Boys
Those were all a large part of childhood memories driving to the mountains or the beach, just reminds me of growing up.
Then we have my teen years and when I was finding out what I liked on my own so it's all very standard fare....

Will do. I take notes on threads like this and add things to my 'to listen to' stockpile. I have discographies accumulating and it is a bit overwhelming, but I am almost through with my final evaluation of the albums I bought over my life and then they are away and only new stuff (or very old, but recently gathered unlistened to old stuff). You may have detected a little OCD in my behavior.

Oh, and I would like to add Complete Collection by Diana Ross as I think some those Supremes songs and early Ross singles are some of the most sublime pop music of all time. I love that stuff.

Yeah I got lucky mate about 35 years back,when Myer here were closing down their vinyl section I was standing there by chance and went for many including the oldest possible rolling stones ones.Wish Id never opened them but they have been played once most of them.
