24-0 (13) Rances Barthelemy makes his first defense of his lightweight trinket against its former owner Mickey Bey 21-1-1 in what could be a decent clash. Not sure why Bey vacated (?) but he's a sharp boxer. Still wonder if the punch of Barthelemy will carry up but he should have enough to keep Bey honest coupled with pure skill.
Emmanuel Rodriquez 14-0 takes on Alberto Guevara 24-2 in a battle of bantamweights.
Rodriquez very sharp in 1st and rocks Guevara with a left hook. Catching him coming in early on with compact shots.
Rodriquez in full control but stepping off the gas in 6th. Nasty gash result of a headbutt on Guevera. Missed a few rounds here but 7th beginning. Wow..Rodriquez has a stick for a jab, knocks his head back often!
I just woke up :S I like Barthelemy, good posts, I wouldn't have noticed this was on otherwise !
Rodriquez shows a few holes late but clear cut win with 99-91 100-90 and 99-91 on the cards. Pretty good learning experience for Manny.
Poor mans showman Caleb Plant vs Carlos Galvan. Galvan a blueprint on give and take bomber from Columbia, almost had undefeated Aleem out two fights ago. Plant is a bit of an oddity. This should be 10 rounds not 6
Well not a lot of give by Galvan in opener, Aside from a couple over hand chopping rights it was all Plant. Little to cute for his own good though
Call me fecking nuts...think Galvan did enough in 2nd. Awkward chopping sloppy pressure and finding Plant on the ear. Better round
The pink shorted fellow doesn't seem to be doing to much, the colombian chap is unfortunatley not that great so I think he will be out of luck here and pinky will get the win :S

Wo that was sudden, honestly Galvan bulled him in 3rd but in 4th Plant literally sits down on wide stance and scores one punch body shot KO. Left upperhook right to the heart and Galvan down writhing in pain. Risky open ended shot to load up on but top notch ko finish!

Ahhhhhh I've missed the uncertainty of senior Mayweather sentences ;D...basically he just told Bey 'You suck right now and need to do better'
this is a pretty good fight, the fake knockdown makes the score cards interesting too.. Barthelemy is in danger of tiring himself though and bey is landing some nice counters, no idea what the score should be though :S. Bey is certainly in it though.
When a guy punches his own forehead after being punched...yeh. No idea how Farhood has this even. On the other hand it's Barthelemys door to kick in, he needs to put some hurt on and get back to early round mindset. This is a no-coasting zone
Gave Bey 9th, both guys can be frustrating ;D Someone commit...lets go son. The Barthelemy uppercut would be like a lever on a winning slot right now but just following Bey in 10th
Pretty good fight, scrappy and both guys leave a bit wanting, have Barthalemey by a few at least I think.
More inspired Barthelemy final round and Bey gets in a few quicks hands. Not a bad scrap but seemed to just settle. Absolutely zero idea on accurate score. Great start by Rances, bullshit call on kd, return headbutt and Bey found some work in middle, simple but awkward Rances sorta let up and Bey got back in a bit. On spot Rances deserves it
All over the map man...116-110 Barthelemy...117-111 Bey...117-110 Barthelemy. Split.
They pointed out the judge that had it for Bey was one of the same guys who was suspended after scoring PAul Williams over Lara, and this was his first fight in 2016:-X Guess there were enough close rounds to have it way different, but I'd say its more likely that guy was bought.

He uses much of the same feints and boxes like I have in sparring, gym wars, smokers...just much better lol
