Not a huge card but it's Tuesday night and I'm running with it. Man I miss those old USA cards ;D. We seem to have crashed out for a while ? but up and running now. First up Alexei Collado 19-1 fighting undefeated Omar Douglas 16-0 and his massive bundle of dreads. Good opening round with Douglas stronger of the two.
Collado best weapon in 2nd was to tackle Douglas and both go tumbling. Collado getting through with sharp shots on stationary Douglas but being killed in the body as it goes.
Larry Holmes in the audience. I don't think that hair has changed in about 30 yrs ;D. Good to see legends just shooting the bull and sipping a beverage at every day 'smaller' cards.
Douglas working hard but not so smart. Ahead through 4 though. Getting physical in 5th with both warned. Collado lands well but cannot lay in with him!
Best round so far for Douglas the 6th! Hurt Collado in the body twice who turned his back claiming low blow. Collado throws one low at rounds end and warned hard. He stays on those ribs he might close it out soon
Douglas with the KO in 8th. Drops Collado who goes down delayed reaction and a face full of grimace and stays on a knee for ten count. Body body body!

Evening sir(s);D Looks like I didn't miss a classic by the finish of that one. Nice to see Cherry is still around, that guy was a gatekeeper when I started watching boxing! He's a solid pro, clean high output fighter, unless that's changed. Don't know his opponent but he's coming off a draw and hasn't fought anybody, pulling for the Cherry bomb.

Last saw Rhodes he looks a lesser version of a Hank Lundy type maybe. Skilled but more smoke than fire at times. Cherry did well to get back in title picture last time out and ran even!Quote:

Hedge right back in 3rd, came out early and connected and walked Russell back a bit. Russell steadies it end of round. Hedge came to fight.
Russell all over hard headed Hedge now. Picking his spots inside and raking Hedge. Quality hands
Russell goes all out for ko in 6th and final but bloody Hedge remains upright. Good to see very young house guys turn it up like that.
Main event up! Just remembered why Lydell Rhodes irritates the shat out of me. Hoping Cherry turns it back and takes this.
Cherry left hook hurts Rhodes as he pulls out in 2nd! On appearance Rhodes is a tank but looks near winded even this early.
Julian Williams should not score fights ;D See Cherry bit sloppy but stronger and moving Rhodes around and hurt him. Round of clinches 3rd. Rhodes is the definition of wasted energy and half a tank. 3-1 Cherry
Better round for Rhodes and stays on the sloppy backfoot. Turning into a sloppy cling and fling fight with Rhodes initiating most. Just don't see substance to what Rhodes does, Cherry has done the damage from here. Rough fight 4-2 Cherry on initiating and effect. Rhodes just shit the 7th with holding and Taekwondo.
This will be a clusterfook of scorecards. Rhodes is literally clinging on at every opportunity in 8th but announce crew are smoking something. Jim Lamps would be pound of this bias

Cherry hurts Rhodes in 9th and again in 10th here. He deserves this fight, Rhodes looked winded his cheap clinches were more effective than his punches half way through.
Scores in 98-92...97-93 twice Cherry win!! Now THAT is a call. Vote for the fire not the smoke
