We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
Tyson Fury had his 15 minutes in the Sun just like Leon Spinks and Buster Douglas. His performance that night can never be taken away from him. It was masterful if maybe a bit awkward but he pulled it off and will always be remembered for that. Just like Buster Douglas and Leon Spinks for their Shining Nights of permanent fame.
Like the band called Looking Glass with their incredibly famous one hit wonder called Brandy.
Bye bye Tyson.

I said it a while ago some people make the big bucks and don't or cant go on from there.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
When Fury gets better he will be back to wipe out the pretenders.

When he gets better? When he gets fucking better!!! We still don't know what the fuck is wrong with him.
At this moment all we know is he's a bit stressed because he got caught out being a cokehead, being unprofessional and not training and acting like a Champion should.
And at this moment in time , until he backs stuff up with medical records, all we know is that he has used Mental Health as a reason for being a twat.
This ain't "a course of antibiotics and a bit of Calpol and he'll be ok" territory.
"When he gets better"! Ha what a mug!😂😂😂
-
All the paper talk maybe BS about Tyson but there is no smoke without fire chaps.!
He does seem a troubled individual mentally we can only make comments on what we hear off the media.
I hope he gets himself together as he has bucked the HW division up, he's far more entertaining than the Klits.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
He has said in the past on many occasions he just doesn't care about boxing. He just isn't motivated. He wants to retire. He has already accomplished his dream.
Nahhh, he'll never come back.

Well you can't take that away from him HW Champion of the World.
It's a pity he makes things interesting the HW division has been void of interest for some time.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
I was a Fury fan now I'm getting tired of his shit.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
We never saw Buster Douglas again in any positive way after that night in Tokyo. And we never saw Leon Spinks again in any positive way after shocking the world and beating Muhammad Ali. Just the same we will never see Tyson Fury again in the same way as he was in that night that he beat the Aging Wladimir Klitschko. That's just the way it is in boxing and in so many other areas. You do have your one hit wonders and we thank God for those exciting moments but there is no doubt that Tyson Fury is a one hit wonder.
-
Fury was never that good. He fought a great fight against wlad but was nowhere near unbeatable. I could agree that he will end up being a one hit wonder.

Of course you agreed because I am always right and Master is always wrong. Further proof of that is that he has even recently predicted that Trump will not win the election.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
Fury will be back and Trump will lose.

This may be the first time I have agreed with you. There is a metaphor about a broken clock that seems appropriate here...

Those are terrible examples...
Douglas was a gifted but lazy journeyman with losses. Mike Tyson was going through all sorts of shit and not training. Tyson Fury had fought his way in to position with 3 eliminators and forced Wlad to fight him. Wlad was also on top of his game unbeaten in 11 and head and shoulders above the rest of the division unlike Ali. Wlad dnt take Fury lightly, he tried every trick he could to slow him down including putting memory foam mattresses under the canvas! It was Wlads own promotion also. What Tyson Fury did was a huge achievement when you consider Wlad doesnt get out of shape and takes all his training canps seriously. This wasnt a faded old fighter who over looked a bum. This was a very good fighter fighting brilliantly to beat a well prepared focussed all time great.

Ross he beat Wlad but does that make Fury great at this point no mate
You need to make a defence of your title, Fury is simply knackerd.!
Tyson needs to fight to judge his place in history Ross , you may think he is the dog's bollocks.
You don't no what awaits Tyson he has to answer his in discretions, and he could have a long ban from boxing.
-
Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
ross, the guy isnt interested, he's said many times.
-
Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
Tyson talks a lot of shit and everyone jumps on it as if its all gospel like when hed retired;D
The main reason he hasnt fought for so long is because he had to sign his rights away to fight Wlad. The same reason Joshua now has one of Tysons belts.Otherwise Tyson would have had an easy defence against Glazkov first and Hearn would still be manoeuvring Joshua.
Dates and venues had to line up with TV before they could set a date. The Klitschko are notoriously difficult to deal with and the contracts werent finalised until a few weeks ago.
Maybe Tyson is fed up of being tied to Klitschko and doesnt mind the consequences?
I think what could happen is Parker fights Ruiz for WBO and Klitschko fights Brown for WBA with Oquendo stepping aside with guarantee of being first defence.
Mean while Joshua is left looking for someone to fight. This could all affect Joshuas next date because I cant see Hearn really wanting the Klitschko fight. The sanctioning bodies arent likely to risk being sued by just saying ok you two just fight for these belts, fuck the ranked contenders next in line and then they are contracted to seperate TV channels. Like Hearn said, things will move on and they will. No one is going to wait further for him to organise a huge fight which in reality wouldnt happen until 2017.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
Fuck off with your american spelling!
You talk english so its pyjamas you need to ask your "mum" for;D
Spinks wouldnt have had the strength of team to go to germany and demand the ring be altered, Wlad un glove and wait for him to be present. He would have been glad to be there and probably would have been wiped out in a couple of rounds. Wlad is not a tired old suffering Ali.

Am I the only one cringing at this Bollocks?
And Brock is going to spell things in American, because guess what? He's from America. If you feel you have to use that, it shows how desperate and futile you are getting. Dear oh dear!

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
Kid Thunder and Charlie Zelenoff have both boxed professionally, so both have the right to talk about boxing unlike 99% of the plebs here. I'm going to invite them over to give their analysis of Fury's situation.

Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
@ross you have gone batshit. Your grammar and syntax is hideous and your use dangling participial phrases is nothing short of a level 1 or 2 ESL student. My current rate as an ESL teacher is $44 an hour which is about 33 pounds. I'll give you a 10% discount.

I suppose the difference is Douglas V Tyson and Spinks V Ali were good exciting fights that you could watch back.
I have not watched Fury Klitchsko since the actual fight night,.

@ross, the word was adopted from Benghali, where it was roughly payjama, which comes from the Persian term pay-jameh and has absolutely no English etymology whatsoever. There's no way you're as thick as you make out on here, get it together.

I can tell you this. The american word pajama is a lazy spelling of their english language word pyjama.

Of course I double checked, just wanted to make sure you were being as stupid as it seemed. I did know the word came from India, was unaware it was originally Persian. If the English copied it and changed the spelling, what's the difference if the Americans did so again?;D

He would've never had an easy IBF defense as he was obliged to the rematch. He was getting stripped regardless. If AJ didn't pick it up you and the Fury's wouldn't be half as bothered.
The reason Tyson hasn't fought is because he's TWICE pulled out of the rematch. First time with a sore ankle (ha ha), second time citing depression. So it's not Wlad's fault.
Fury signed for the rematch clause and failed to make the fights. No-one else to blame.
-
Re: We'll never see Tyson Fury again a la Leon or Buster
Tyson Fury had to sign up to the rematch clause regardless, it was not a choice.
