So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Can this/will this happen?
No way Haye fights him anywhere but Heavyweight for a start and if he did what would it gain him with limited time left in his career.
Also is Bellew forgetting he got done at Light Heavy by Adonis Stevenson?
Haye is a Heavy Handed bona fide Heavyweight these days and surely this would be over double quick, maybe even a first round KO.
Bellew claims he dropped Haye to his knee once before but that's just hear-say
.
What i do wonder is if either the way Bellew publicly humiliated him live on tv will be enough to anger Haye (who was being laughed and jeered at by thousands in the crowd) into taking this OR is this another clever money making masterstroke by Haye who deliberately said Bellew would lose and wound him up pre fight knowing full well he'd be ringside working for Sky Sports on the night of the fight - i.e. did Haye deliberately set a trap knowing how emotional Bellew gets? ;)
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Haye will fight Bellew because there's very little chance of him losing.
Haye's career as a part time boxer hinges on when he comes back every so often he wins and looks good, if he fights someone who makes it tough for him then he suffers in the pocket and people won't buy into the hype again. If Haye fought the 44 year old Shannon Briggs he'd have trouble and hell he could actually lose (I doubt he would, but then again he could tire himself out beating Shannon only for Shannon to blast him at the end) and that would be all she wrote for Haye's career.
90% chance the fight happens 8% chance Haye takes on a lesser fighter 2% chance Haye bails out of the fight completely and goes back to television
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Seems like it would depend on Haye, if he could get a title shot at HW and fighting Bellew might interfere with that time frame, might not happen. If he's going to take another pointless or easy fight in the meantime, it may as well be Bellew, from his perspective. I'd be shocked if the fight was competitive for as much as a round, so kind of hope it doesn't happen I guess, there are good tests for both in their own division.
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Joke of a fight. Whatever you think of Haye, good luck giving him a natural weight advantage. Bellew will be lucky to get out the first round. However, it will sell out in minutes, do hundreds of thousands of PPV and make everyone involved a fortune.

Bellew Flores was a masterstroke by all involved. Safely masked by the simmering Bellew Haye handbags, no one gave a fuck that Flores was fucking pony. Well played.
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Haye is due to fight December and they are scheduling this fight for March 2017.
Pathetic and stupid fight.
Haye will decapitate Bellew when he lands the right hand.

Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Well if this happened its a great fight
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
I like it, I don't see it as a joke
Keeps the British boxing scene at the top of the world
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
I think Haye wipes the floor with him.
IT ANNOYS ME THOUGH, If Haye is considering this then his comeback was clearly a farce as he has nothing in the pipeline at all that he can just drop everything for a fight against a guy in a different division.
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
more change of this than AJ Klit

I don't get this logic at all
if any fighter from any division fights a good world champ from the division below then that is a legitimate fight, particularly when the fighter from the higher class came from the lower division originally
plus the fight will most likely out sell all other fights barring one or two
plus its another huge plus for Britain
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Haye will get a chance and will beat Bellew for sure

It is a massive mismatch that is why.
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Haye has got a "BIG Announcement" coming today..... there's talk of him fighting Hughie Fury
The WBA is expected to make a ruling this week on the WBA 'super' title, which was vacated by Tyson Fury last week, while Australian Lucas Browne was granted another fight for the WBA 'regular' belt earlier this year.
Joseph Parker is the mandatory challenger for Joshua's IBF belt, but has opted to target the WBO title and reports suggest he will fight Andy Ruiz Jr as part of a four-man tournament, which could also see a potential fight between David Haye and Hughie Fury.

Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
Why is it a missmatch?
hayes fought twice in 4 years against low level opposition and bellew is an active very capable champion

Well had Haye continued as a heavyweight I (even though I thoroughly dislike the guy) assume he would be a top 5 top 10 heavyweight and Bellew just got done fighting BJ Flores whom absolutely nobody rates even as a cruiserweight.
Re: So what's the chances of Bellew v Haye..?
