Referendums are not legally binding, so legally the Government can ignore the results.

Brexit should happen and it would if there was such a thing as democracy. With FPTP and a monarchy though, the UK is not a democracy and that they are trying to make Brexit a 'legal' issue is telling. Apparently it is legal to frack and invade countries and brutalise the poor, but a popular vote is deemed 'not legal'. It says a lot. It's more akin to somewhere like Thailand than any functioning democracy.
The referendum in the UK has never been binding. It's not something new. It's not some anti democratic conspiracy. And yes, fracking is legal. And war and dominance is what's provided you with your comfy, cushy privileged life Mr. High & Mighty.
So, the referendum and the resources spent on it which could easily have been spent on helping vulnerable people or paying for hospitals was all a big game then. Oh, how hilarious. I guess they should do it again sometime. What can you say? :-\Quote:

So you guys have high courts that overturn the will of the people as well. I read one of the Lords worked closely with EU lawmakers he should have stepped aside for the vote. The system is rigged in Britain as well
