Now beltless, unbeaten three-division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. spoke to reporters yesterday about his April 8 showdown with IBF welterweight titlist Zab Judah in Las Vegas.

Referring to Judah as a "hothead," Floyd stated that there is jealousy on Zab's part. "I beat Zab easily in a game of basketball in front of all of his friends and I put on him in a sparring session in the Top Rank gym.....my Uncle Roger told Zab's father, 'you got to stop this, this is not cool.'" Floyd also commented that he felt disrespected by Judah not showing up a conference call with reporters earlier in the week. "Zab claims he's focusing on the fight but how much focus do you need to talk on a speaker phone? I love the media. This is a promotion and it's a business. At the end of the day it takes two to sell a fight, but this time around it only took one. I'm upset at Zab for that."

As for the fight, Floyd said Zab makes a lot of mistakes and "if you're a fighter that makes mistakes against me, trust me, you're going to pay. You need three things. You need to have a mind, heart and chin. Zab has a good mind, Zab has heart but his chin ain't up to par."

Let's hope he's upset enough to stop Judah... ;D

i don't know why the promotion is called 'sworn enemies'.....its all an act, 1 minute they are friends and the next they want to kill each other.

I agree with you. I like Zab Judah and I think that he is going to put on an excellent performance against better competition in Floyd Mayweather.
However, he just ain't as good as Floyd! Mayweather 36-0 when this is over.

Does zab really have heart or is it pride. Was it pride that caused him to get up too quick against tszyu(either way he was getting knocked out, tszyu would of finished him...or judah may of not of been able to stand anyway even after a few seconds extra ), is it his pride that makes him think that people cant beat him causing him to get lazy.

I believe the reference is to kostya vs zab. Zab was so confident in winning he said "Winner take all" and when he lost he complained like a bitch. Then all of his supporters decided that kostya was ducking judah coz he wouldnt give judah a rematch when both of them agreed....winner take all.
