FS1 fight night! Vasquez vs Collazo

I know I know Collazo is older than dirt but it's a passable rebound fight for exciting Sammy Vasquez who is coming of loss to Felix Diaz. Ironically Diaz was coming in as late sub for Collazo prior :-X.

Rolling Yordenis Ugas 17-3 takes on Levan Ghvamichava 17-2-1 welters. Also fan friendly 14-0 Ryan 'Cowboy' Karl meets 15-0 Eddie Ramirez. Card to run three hours beginning at 7pm here on Fox sports 1. May turn out to be a few stay busy fights but it's action distraction and right now it's needed!

I'd be surprised if Vasquez doesn't win by stoppage here. Collazo is generally durable but I think the youth and style of Vasquez will take it's toll.

Ugas vs Ghvamichava is an appealing fight for me. Ugas is on a nice 2 fight streak and old uni-brow wolfman is a bruising task. I'm going with Ghvamichava in a close one. I expect it to be fun either way.

This fight fight is over already. Berrego fights too square on but Mendez was getting caught with some decent shots. A body shot ended it.

This next fight should be decent. Karl was fun last time I saw him. I just need some shades cause his skin sure is florescent.

A good first round with both guys having their moments.

Ramirez hurts Karl in the first minute of round 2. Karl steadied the ship over the second half of the round but Ramirez is hurting him.

Nice comeback round for Karl after being hurt in the 2nd. Good back and forth action through 3 rounds.

Missed a bit. Karl staggered bad there? Like these types of fights a lot. Both won't amount to world beaters but good action and two undefeated putting that 0 on the line!

Caleb Plant on mic, he's a fun one to watch.

Yes Karl was hanging on there for a bit in the first. Close rounds. 2-2.

Ramirez with some excellent body work early. Karl coming back over the second half. 3-2 Raimrez.

Tough 5th for Karl. Just being outgunned there but no lack of desire on his part.

Close round. Both guys taking turns to land on each other. Ramirez had the cleaner work. 4-2.

You just see the accumulation on Karl. Good flurries second half of 7th. but those body shots stand him still.

Excellent round. That right is doing damage for Ramirez. Karl cut over the left eye. Extremely close round. This and the last could have been even. Slightly favor Ramirez. 5-2.

Another close round. I feel Ramirez just squeaked it. 6-2.

Karl moved all over the ring in 9th. Took a pounding, all or nothing final round he needs a KO.

Wow. Fight called by Karl corner for tko win Ramirez.

Karl hurt by the rights several times in that round. Corner stops it at rounds end.

Tragic what happened to Caleb Plants daughter. He gets my support.

;D Forgot about the uni brow. He def has the physicality to walk down Ugas. Thinking Ugas keeps it smart and turning though.

You have to admire a guy who turns his massive foliage of body hair into a complete ring persona ;D. Solid first round by Ugas

Ugas banking that body work early. Close round. Ugas 1-0.

Ugas busier. Landing well to the body and trying to find a home for that right over the top. The left to the body is nice, I'd like to see it up top soon. 2-0

Ugas looking good so far over 3. Letting his hands go. The Wolf started to open up a bit more that round but the speed and combinations of Ugas are troubling him. 3-0.

Ugas working well. The Wolf landed a right or 2 of his own that round. Ugas has to be careful not to stay inside too long. 4-0.

Ref all over Ugas, seen this before. Not sure I'm watching the same fight as Fox commentators :-X. Ugas is feeling some of those body shots but really putting his punches together and has Wolfman busting up.

do they have them mixed up? Ugas just needs to keep it long and fluid spin him out

3 warnings for low shots in that round. Nothing looked seriously malicious. The Wolf woke up a bit more that round but I still have to give it to Ugas for the cleaner work. 5-0.

Ugas really loading up on those rights, needs to keep his head and not fall in. Good combos for him end of round. Don't have this close but Caleb Plant does ;D

Wide round for Ugas. The Wolf landed 1 big right that round. 6-0.

Punch for punch Ugas is getting better of it, long and short inside to take round.

Close round. Ugas might have taken the early part of the round of. The Wolf just not doing enough. Lets call it an even round. 6-0-1.

ohh here we go. Ref take point in 8th from Ugas in round he may have been trailing. All the sudden 10-8 round Levan. Ugas 6-2 in rounds

That was another close round. I think The Wolf was edging it but a point deduction from Ugas for low blows secured it. 6-1-1 (-1 from Ugas).

87-83 Ugas into final round. He should take nothing for granted and get to work. The feel of this has iffy decision written all over it.

That was another good round for Ghavamichava. Close but I think he took it. 6-2-1 (-1 for Ugas).

I'll go for the more composed effective puncher everyday of the week. Levan on his heels few times in 10th. Hard fun scrap but have it 98-92 (it's probably a draw ;D) Ugas consistently doing the better work.

Ugas took the last round. When he lets his hands go he looks fantastic. 7-2-1 (-1 for Ugas). 97-93.

They're going to screw him

A couple of those rounds could have been close, but with Levan falling back and seemingly reacting more to shots landed Ugas took them.
