HAHAHAHA! Algieri 2 would be just about right for this fucking prick!
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
he has just been flatterned, maybe a little easier fight would be acceptable
algeri would be disappointing tho, mainly because I've seen it before
p.s. another first class thread PK

Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Khan needs to fight in UK and against a domestic rival.

He hasn't "just" been flattened, it was nearly a fucking year ago. And Algieri wouldn't be an easy fight for him, because Khan is shit.
It wasn't an easy fight last time so what's different?
Don't tell me, he's a better fighter after learning from getting sparkoed by Canelo.
Ps. Agree, great thread PK.

yeah Algeri got through a couple of times, there were a couple of shakey moments
still, I don't have a great deal of interest in watching it again, do you?

No, it would be as needless as Pac man v Bradley 3.

No I don't . But the only reason I watch Khan is to see him get beat, preferably by ko. I couldn't really care who he fights. But it would be typical of him to fight Algieri.
I mean, when does anyone ever look for a rematch after they've beaten a guy? Sums him up really.
-
I guess you Brits really care about your country men because I'm baffled at why it would even matter. He is at this point a glorified gatekeeper who never really lived up to his hype. He is an interesting match up for some fighters.
Basically, if Khan is the A fighter in a fight at this point of his career, I don't really care. If he is the B fighter (like fighting against a top welter) then I'm a bit interested. This is because Khan has the physical attributes and talent to pull off an upset.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
When's Khan wanting to get back in the ring? Unless he changes his mind on the Brook fight shortly that'll be off the table. He has also mentioned he wants a tune up first. Pac looks set to face Horn & Garcia is scheduled to meet Thurman. It won't be any of the opponents mentioned in the OP. Although Vasquez will be the smaller man no one looks good against him and I don't see Khan facing such a spoiler in his comeback fight. Algieri fits the bill.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Ricky Hatton, Junior Witter, Dave Boy Green or one of the Kardishans.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
The logical fight for Khan is Brook. He's made clear he doesn't want it by insisting on a ridiculous split. Yet, when he was whining for Mayweather, he would've taken whatever Mayweather decided to pay him. If not Brook, then who cares although either Pac or Garcia would put him on his whiny ass.

As long as they can make weight and are prepared to take 30 percent then they will fit the bill.

Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Khan is apparently in training camp. I think his next meaningful fight is in court.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
I've had enough of this one fight a year prima-donna (bet he's devastated if he reads this).
I don't care about the Brook fight anymore and don't give him a chance against any top welter. Being so inactive has killed him off. Five fights in five years... just fuck off for good.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Khan has proved he is a WANKER in more ways than one , I'm with Fenster - Khan fuck off for good.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Amir Khan vs Adrien Broner, loser fucks off for good! And so does the winner!

Amir Khan: Ex-world champion hopeful of returning to fight for a title in November
Former world light-welterweight champion Amir Khan says he hopes to return to the ring in November.
The 30-year-old last fought in May 2016 when he jumped weight divisions to face Mexico's Saul Alvarez for the WBC middleweight title, but was knocked out in the sixth round.
A fight against Manny Pacquiao was set for April but was called off.
"I've decided to take a big fight at the end of the year and for a title hopefully," Khan said.
"I was thinking of fighting at the end of this month but what I've thought of doing instead is fighting after Ramadan - I want to be back in the ring in November."
Khan also spoke about world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua's win over Wladimir Klitschko at Wembley and believes it will give the whole of boxing a boost.
Joshua's stunning victory on Saturday took place in front of a post-war British record 90,000 fans as he became WBA and IBF world champion.
"What a fight - it was like a Rocky movie, it was a crazy. I think that is what boxing needed," Bolton-born Khan told BBC Radio Manchester.
"Boxing is definitely one of the biggest sports in Britain and to see a 90,000 stadium full, that is somewhere I would love to be.
"Maybe I could see my career off having a big fight like that and then calling it a day as I've not got many fights left in me now."
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
November? Khan is just looking for big paydays to cash out on. If Brook beats Spence I hope he tells Khan to go f-ck himself.

Poor little boy left out of last weeks action, without even his celebrity commentators slot, lets face it nobody is interested in the irritating little bleeder any more, at least on this side of the Atlantic. Let him stick to what (few) purses he can get in the US together with Hello magazine pieces about his celeb wife upsetting his parents(yawn). As for waiting until November when Ramadamadingdong is over wtf is that? Arrogance or what? Sell a few muslim tickets? Man's a joke.

Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Khan should have tried to get Cotto. Bradley would be nice. Hell I'd even settle for Marquez. Khan wants a high reward fight without having done jack in the last year. Peterson would probably be available to him. He could chase the Garcia rematch. Is he going to be rated by any sanctioning body in November? Wouldn't he have to be to get a title shot?
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Tony bellew at heavyweight.. because why not :S
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Khan looking for a big fight? Obviously! He isn't relevant anymore and wants a big payday to lose. Every other fighter on the planet would also love a big fight and make millions.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
Khan should start all over again in the UK, Bolton preferably. He needs to be active, build up his confidence and profile against lower level domestic fighters.
I know he will not but he should.
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
I question what Khan wants out of boxing any more.
Looks like just one fight a year to boost his income - no time for that kind of fighter.
Not that I've ever liked him of course
-
Re: Who should Amir Khan fight next -- Brook, Pacquaio, Garcia?
This dope still thinks he's bigger than boxing in Britain. Delusional prick has never even had a massive fight in the UK. Ignoring what Joshua and Froch have done at the O2 and Wembley - guys like Frampton, Brook, Crolla, Bellew have (will) headlined 15-25,000+ seaters on SKY PPV.
Khan's last PPV fight cost him £1.5m, it did less than 10,000 buys.
He should be begging Eddie for a slot on Brooks undercard.
