£50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach

Re: £50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach
Someone is going to be in a whole lot of trouble having to explain that to their boss.

Re: £50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach
Big waste of perfectly good luggage right there! Whatever happened to Hefty bags ffs.
Ive always wondered if the cops thoroughly search the property and vehicles of people who report stuff like this.

Re: £50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach
If I would have found that a about 10 years ago it would have most definitely killed me

Re: £50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach
I sometimes wonder what I'd do if I found a bunch of drugs like that, guess it would depend what it was. I wouldn't really know how to find the right person to sell it too and the prospect would scare me, but I don't believe in criminalising cocaine, think it does far more harm than good to police it, and certainly don't have enough faith that it would make any difference to hand the stuff over.

Does coke have a lifespan? I mean I could make a good whack of money off 50 million quids worth of the stuff but would it lose its potency if it was left sitting around for a few months?

Did I come across as an expert or something? ;D I don't know but can't imagine it would be short like that if so, I mean think about where the stuff has to travel before it hits the streets or is used on an average basis. I'd just try and find a friendlier middle man/dealer and give him an amazing discount to avoid shitting myself over the process. Way I see it, the more it is outlawed and policed the worse kind of shit happens at the grassroots level in order to get the stuff out there. The cartels are up there with any terrorist outfit in terms of sheer brutality, and actually cause a hell of a lot more human suffering. A lot of people who do cocaine aren't exactly troubled souls who are slaves to it either, existentially I wouldn't lose a lot of sleep over trying to profit from the find. If it were heroin or meth or something I'd definitely just report it.

You tell him, Walrus. Personally I would just throw it all back into the ocean as I don't like fish.

Not too sure about an eighth but 1g used to cost £50/£60 a few years ago, I dunno what the going rate would be these days but I'd imagine it'd be roughly the same

Re: £50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach
I've heard an 1/8th of an ounce is between £150/£250 depending on where in the UK you live.
It's all shit these days anyway unless you use the DarkWeb/Bitcoins and take your chances getting some proper fish scale stuff delivered to your door.
If you wanted to there's serious money to be made doing that as the quality is Really strong so you can cut 1g into 3g and it's still gonna be stronger than 90% of the shit people buy these days.
The Government are seriously clamping down on it now and have dedicated police teams just to target the Darkweb drug problem in the UK.
It's a massive problem but in my opinion the lesser of two evils because as far as i'm concerned people will always take drugs of some kind.....
Alcohol, cigarettes (both do way more damage than any "Illegal" drugs but are a huge tax earner so that's ok)
At least people know that their product is pure if purchased from sites you can find with a bit of research and not full of unknown "legal high" cutting agents that seriously fuck people up.

Re: £50 million of cocaine washed up on Great Yarmouth beach
The now illegal highs are causing a lot of problems in prisons.

Yes because the liberals have made the country soft , should be hard labour and merciless beatings for all who break prison rules, 3 strikes and its the gallows.
Then we solve the over crowding and also the reoffending problem.

Actually it is the failure to invest in decent staff by the right wing Tory Government. When I worked in the criminal justice system they were forever failing to raise wages and cutting staff numbers. This meant very talented and hard working staff from case workers and law clerks right the way up to barristers left the prosecution service. The same has happened with the privatisation of probation (which I am sure Master will attest to) and the prison service. The Prisons with the best record for reducing reoffending were closed by the Tories because if you want quality you need to pay and the Tories are all about selling off the country on the cheap. Who would want to be a prison warden nowadays when even the government don't respect you enough to pay you a decent wage and train you properly. This is what happens following the dumb American model of privatising everything which makes a few individuals rich while everyone else pays thru the nose for it.You can hardly blame the left by using Americanisms like 'liberals' when the right have been in government for years.

You seem to forget the left didn't get voted in.
Why because they are useless , even more useless than the Tories.
FACT.
Also I'm not on the side of any government , I'm saying stop the play stations , and mobile phones . In with hard labour and an iron fist boot camp , that will be the deterrent.
Then 3 strikes and your out , bring back the death penalty , that is where I'm coming from.

USA have that legal system and they are over populated in prison system. It does not work.

I very rarely touch the stuff these days, mainly because i don't DJ full time in clubs anymore and moved out of London where it's rife and all around you (especially in nightclubs)
If i'd have found that amount i'd have been straight on the phone to some people i know in London and sold it Kilo by Kilo over a 1-2 year period.
Only other option would be to try and meet with some seriously naughty people and try and sell the whole lot in one go at a massively reduced price but that would 100% get back to the people who ditched it overboard in the first place and you'd either be shot dead and buried somewhere, ripped off at gunpoint and have it taken off you with zero payment or hailed a hero for returning "Lost Property" by them ;D
Anyone Seen the Film True Romance with Christian Slater? ;)

Anyone who comes across "lost property" of this sort and magnitude had best remember not only 'True Romance' but also 'No Country For Old Men'

No Country for an old man is truly brilliant. The guy playing Anton Chilgur made a gold performance in that one.
