Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
Report: Floyd Mayweather Spends $75 Million Per Year, Advisors Fear Financial Ruins – MMA Imports
Was just reading this apparently he spends 75 mil a year which is not surprising and his financial people think he's going to ruin himself.
Not surprising, soon he'll be ducking lenders and collectors like he ducked tough competition! ;D
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
I wonder how much money that 0 finally goes for ;D
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
I never thought Tyson and Holyfield would ever be declared bankrupt or lose their money as it was such a large amount. If Floyd does end up broke, then he is the dumbest idiot ever in the history of boxing.
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
I wouldn't be surprised. It won't be for a while as he still has a money fight or 2 up his sleeve. If he loses or once he stops fighting it will be a quick downward spiral.
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
Floyd seems a bit tight with his money and all show. I am sure he picks up all the money he throws up in the air afterwards when no one is watching.

He hasn't had a big paycheck in awhile. Has to tighten his belt until he can get a big deal for his comeback.

I remember when Floyd fell out with 50 cent because he said Floyd would not commit any of his money to any of the projects. I think Floyd is like Rocky Marciano and very tight with his fortune and this is all fabricated.
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
What are we becoming? Cannot anybody simply see that this is an MMA website article?
They are obviously really reliable because there is no way there could be a bout between Mayweather and a MMA guy, and nobody is pushing it or anything 😀
In the parlance of today, what is fake news ...... or a false story pushing a truism.
Ever get the feeling you're being played, guys?
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
I believe it because Floyd is so stupid, he posts on his social media him gambling 5 and 6 figures. But if he's showing you the winnings, imagine what he's losing on gambling alone....
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
I don't think.
He is smart own companies

Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
Regardless of what money he's earned and what he's invested it in if you're gambling a million dollars plus on sports games or whatever it's a matter of time till you're broke. And he's got his lifestyle to maintain at the same time. Once somebody like Floyd starts living a certain lifestyle, million dollar cars and whatnot, he's got to keep spending at that rate so he doesn't lose face amongst his peers.
I'm pretty sure Floyd has an Aboriginal understanding of money and numbers -- one, two, many. As long as he has "many" dollars in the bank he's going to keep spending at his current rate no matter how fast he's blowing through it. It's only once he gets down to one or two dollars in the bank that we'll see him fight again. When he unretired to fight JMM he was owing millions in tax and was having his cars repossessed. I wonder if he's had the absolute minimum foresight/advice to put enough aside to pay his tax bills for his last fights. Surely he's at least done that.
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
75 a year would have him broken within a decade if he was just living off the interest. Don't forget hes poised to make his money off the backs of other fighters now. Mikey Garcia, Badou Jack and others for right now. Same reason Douche la hoya hasn't been flushed his entire fortune up his nose yet. This isn't tyson who had a king figure scamming him while he was making his fortune or a Mosely who lost it all in one fell swoop when his chick cleaned him out. What could be said of smart men before is probably standard practice now a days... They don't go bankrupt, their companies do. Getting incorporated is a pretty common step now in separating your personal finances from your business finances, so someone suing your company will be hard pressed to find a way to touch your personal money. That's why 50's company declared bankruptcy but hes still a millionaire.
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
Crikey, and there was Johnny Depp spending 2 million per month.
Floyd just wants to be Undisputed GOAT at spending as well
Re: Floyd will go bankrupt soon hopefully
I don't believe it for a minute. How could you even spend 75 million a year? Why would a man so obsessed with accumulating money just burn through it all without a second thought? I don't like Floyd as a fighter because I think he picked and chose too much, but that also shows his savvy. He's not completely stupid.

Boxer Floyd Mayweather has £120,000 worth of belongings stolen in burglary at his Las Vegas mansion
Boxer Floyd Mayweather had over £120,000 worth of belongings stolen after thieves broke into his home over the weekend.
The undefeated fighter was away from his mansion in Las Vegas as he celebrated his 40th birthday in Los Angeles, where he was joined by celebrity friends Justin Bieber and Mariah Carey.
Mayweather is listed as the victim in a burglary report for a home he owns in a gated community next to a golf course.
According to police, thieves forced a door open to break in before stealing several belongings, including one of his expensive watches.
He had been seen sat court side at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game on Sunday against the San Antonio Spurs leading investigators to suspect his movements were being monitored on social media.
Mayweather, known as Money, was the world’s highest-paid sportsman before he retired from the ring.
He is estimated to be worth around £300 million while rumours are currently swirling he may box again to take on UFC star Conor McGregor in £80 million showdown.
