HAGLER KNOCKED ME THE F*CK OUT!

I was playing on hard vs hagler with me as roy jones. I went to war pretty much as i was having trouble staying in range and not getting hit with huge body shots. I won every round until round 7. I had already dropped hagler 3 times in the 6,5 and 4th rounds( 1 each round). Anway at the end of the 6th hagler got the better of me and nilly knocked me down. I had bad cuts on both eyes and hagler had a bleeding nose and mouth and a cut on his nose. In round 7 i decided to go for knockout or he would knock me out. I got him in the ko mode...went for a haymaker....he parried....hit me with a return ko punch....now im in ko mode, i try to bob and weave my way out of it. Hagler misses a couple of hooks and just when i think its safe to go for a clinch....he smashes me a huge haymaker. I go down and i manage to get up by the 4 count. At this point my energy is nilly all gone while hagler nilly has a full meter of it. So right now its ko or be koed. Hagler misses a haymaker and i counter with a ko punch. As i move in for the kill....i throw a haymaker and just before it hits...hagler parries it and hits me with ko punch. I go for a clinch straight away....but a huge haymaker uppercut knocks me down and out. I was pissed, i knocked hagler down 3 times...and he knocked me down 2 times and im out for good.


The rematch goes different. I know that i cant go 12 rounds with hagler as i will fade in the second half of the fight. So this time im going to war in the first round and im going for ko....until i ko the bastard. First round- Hagler throws a punch straight away....i parry and smash him with a ko punch and he clinches straight away so hes out of ko mode. I parry again and smash him with a ko punch and this time hes off balance i smack him with a right hook. He gets up at 5. I dominate this round. 2nd round goes alright for me, at the end of the round i knock him down....but im cut again on both eyes....haglers got some fuckin power since roys cuts stats are 100. 3rd round is a war, i just trade with him and down he goes in the middle of the round. He gets up and i just finish the fucker off with a barrage of punches and then a haymaker.



Both were pretty good fights i reckon, fight night round 3 is good whenn you choose the right fighters to fight against.

I just made Riddick Bowe and fought Holyfield on hard (just in a regular fight not on the career mode or anything) it was a friggin slugfest! Too bad Holyfield didn't take punches like he did in real life else it would have gone longer than 4-5 rounds but I'll be damned if it wasn't similar to the actual fights in the way it unfolded.

I also stopped Hagler with Tommy Hearns...the right hand TKO'd him....too bad the comp doesn't throw haymakers or KO punches as much because that's what Hagler would do

Haglers one powerful mofo and he has a solid chin too. I was roy jones and i was hammering him yet he wasnt anywhere near going down. He drained me of my energy and the knocked me the fuck out lol.

With Tommy Hearns I used the haymaker to sap his chin ( don't think I had it on hard that time) but hard vs SRL is damned near impossible!!! I couldn't hit him with ANYTHING he's hoppin around the ring like he was on crack!

I know, ali,srl and roy are fucking pain in the necks on hard. If you cant hit some haymakers then its going the distance your most likely getting stopped.

It's better not to get them in first person mode but just in stunned mode and then did the body(with an uppercut) that way you can hit them when they are on their way down

Yeah i dont go for those punches where all you can see is their gloves, i go for the other ones where they are in ko mode, its heaps better. How mad do body shots look, they look real i reckon.

i beat him 10 rounds to 2, i just constantly jabbed and moved, charge in with a lead right followed by a left to the body

Yeah thats my problem....i can outbox them for a while and then....i get the urge to go toe to toe with them. They draw me into brawls lol ;D

Yeah, its funny though. I sometimes think im winning the brawl and then i look at the health bar and im nilly into ko mode so i start to box again lol ;D

i can beat everyone on hard apart from Hagler! he's fucking ruthless.

^ i just beat him. knocked him out in 4 rounds ;D

took him to the decision on hard today with rjj ;D

you guys must suck i had it on hard i went the distance but was holding him up for 8 rounds.

I havent had a decision yet, if i dont ko them then i tko them.
