Andre Dirrell Chaos!!! - DQ/Sucker Punch/Rozzers/Uzcategui's Granite Bonce

This fat cunt (Dirrell's uncle/trainer) should be nicked, certainly barred from boxing. What a fucking chin from Uz? That fat fucker must weigh about 18 stone, flushed him and he didn't even have a little shake.

What does everyone think of the Abraham shenanigans now? He clearly could have got up - he went to - but his corner were telling him to stay down.

That was cheap and disgraceful, he should be charged for assault.

What was all of that about not read about it?

Uz was DQ'd for hitting after the bell, he caught him flush with a left (I think it was) but in all fairness to him he was in mid combo when the bell went, it was after the bell but fighters do it don't they, AJ has done it a fair few times.

Dirrell looked like he could have took a minute and carried on but instead he decided to roll on his back and stare at the lights.

Even if it was a worthy DQ it wasn't malicious if you ask me.

The maddest thing is that Dirrell actually went over to Uzcatefgifjdsfid after the decision and hugged him, the pair of them was fine the Fat Albert decided to waltz over and sucker punch him.

And as Fenners said Uzcathjfidsuf didn't even blink after the punch, he just kind of stared off into the distance whilst trying to figure out what had happened, even once the realization kicked in he didn't go stomping across the ring to try and kill Fat Albert he just leaned against the ropes.

It was awful. He should at minimum be permanently banned for life from any boxing corner and get a hefty fine.

As for the acting job, I was fine that Dirrell didn't continue, but he didn't have to try to sell it so much. Obviously he was dazed. It was a late hit and that potentially could have changed the outcome of the whole fight, but they could have just stopped it without all of the theatrics.

With the violence of the cheap shots, I would be really surprised and angry if the dude doesn't get a major ban and a very salty fine. And by ban, I mean at least a couple of years, if not for life.

Caught it after the fact but that was really ugly. First the way they were carrying on afterwards you'd think Uzcategui single bricked him from behind with a loaded and delayed shot. Fact is it was a fluid combo well on it's way, first two stunned him and the caper was what you're trained to throw..meanwhile the ref was couple feet away just yelling. Huge point by Paulie was the ref..who almost seemed pre rehearsed in interview..told Direll his full intention and that he was already dq'ing Uz while Dirrell had already knelt up wondering where the truck went ???. To me at worst, auto point deduct Uz and give Dirrell full 5 minutes to clear. Honestly looked like he milked it and looked like a fish just pulled from the sea. Dirrell was behind on cards and legitimately hurt badly and the ending has a stench. Then in comes the trainer who pulled a full James "sucker punch" Butler acting all calm and then bare knuckle cracked Uz right on the point of the beard. That sack of shat should be perma banned from the ring, face charges and a rematch should be ordered on neutral ground. Whole card was just sketchy as well as clear blind scoring fight prior with 118-109 in favor of Barthelemy.

i've read somewhere that he was arrested, he was fleeing the site and a couple of hours later was arrested, but didnt hear about the outcome, or if this is true.

I imagine that a sucker punch like that can potentially cause internal (brain) damage since the fighter was coming off a period of prolonged trauma during the boxing match and it was totally unexpected.

That was borderline at best. The punch was already on it's way when the bell sounded. Impossible to stop that punch in mid-air.

On the other hand, Dirrell's uncle should be thrown in prison, where hopefully he'll be gang-raped by Bubba and his friends.

That was a heretic assault Sucker Punch and that man should be barred from boxing for life as well as be sued aggravated assault and I believe that type of an assault should have a minimum of 30 days in jail and a $10,000 fine

6 months to a year in jail, and a $50k-$100k fine.
A message has to be sent that human trash like that is not welcome in the sport of boxing.

"Protect yourself at all times" those are the key words coming from any and every referee worth his salt. This goes from round #1 where you may or may not touch gloves depending on the fight all the way until the bell rings for the end of the fight and the ref steps between the combatants.


Dirrell's uncle didn't want to protect his fighter, he wanted revenge....that was shades of James 'The Harlem Hammer' Butler's sucker punch. Piss poor sportsmanship, sure the guy had a bit of a reason to feel salty, but the decision to DQ Uz went in favor of Dirrell, so that should be that, but the Uncle really took it too far. Have words with the guy, call him a cheating bastard, call him a prick, whatever, but don't initiate physical contact like that.


It was a cheap shot and he should be ashamed of himself ('He who?' well both of them but especially the Uncle because he should fucking know better).

It was an Abraham replay. Dirrell could have continued in both fights but chose not to. The unpronouncable guy deserved the win.

Unless the vids im seeing have lag between the audio and video, the first shot that puts him on queer street sounds like it connected with the bell. The second one was just a nasty punch and looks horrible mostly because dirrell was in a vulnerable state. I think the bell run a second and a half later, everyone would be talking about what a quality ko that was, because truly it would have found dirrell with or without the bell. Every trainer the guys had has told him to stay off the ropes and dirrell just has a knack for getting hit by these types of punches. Maybe he was waiting for the bell and already relaxed for his stroll back to his corner. A +1 for the protect yourself at all times comment. Dirrell always seems liked the type of fighter who loved to put it on someone... but when the going got tough, he wasn't really feeling that sh*t and wanted a quick and easy way out (even if that means playing the victim. )

The AA fight looked like an act from the start, all the twitching on the floor was far too unnatural to be real, then the long lay off after that, it all seemed very over the top

for me he should have came clean after the fight, yeah I faked it, sorry

that knock out the other night tho was definitely real, he fell face first

and you cant blame him for not going on after that

NC would've been the correct outcome. The punch technically landed after the bell, but like you said... it was already on the way. Poor Uz got dinged with a bad decision, and then cowardly punched by Dirrell's low-life uncle. Gone for good is right, but criminal assault charges to seal the deal.
