"Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Sorry guys, but I had to do this. Anybody see the WWE HOF thing last night w/ Bret Hart. Austin says to the crowd, "I got a can of whoop a$$ with Hulk Hogan's name on it".
I thought these 2 were gonna fight tonight at Wrestlemania. Anybody know why this fight didn't happen?
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Because Austin didn't follow Stephanies "proposition" to save his friend. But we all know what would happen. Austin would win 99 percent of the match then Hogan will kick out of the stunner, Hulk up, and point at Austin and go "YOU!!!" and then beat Austin with the big boot and leg drop.
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
I doubt it. If the Rock beat Hogan, then why would Vince let Hogan beat Austin, who was even more popular than the Rock? Being that these are the 2 biggest WWE stars ever, I think it end in a double DQ or double count out. Something so there was no loser.
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Because the Rock beat Austin too, in the "final curtain"
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Yes, but that was because the Rock was still active at that time. And he had to finally beat Austin. This is 2 fighters who've been inactive for a while, but each has a great history.
I really, really, really hope they can get Bret Hart back in for a Shawn Michaels rematch.
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
I think in a real fight it would be close. Austin is probably meaner, but Hogan is a big boy that can move.
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Hulk Hogan in the most lopsided match in the history of anything. He's that good.
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
You're forgetting that both of these guys are over the hill now.

its like this..
ok,
JR had to get colon surgery, so they "fired" him to explain his absence..
they wanted to explain him not returning by having austin do a macth with the coach, with the stipulation being if austin wins he comes back...
the problem was they wanted austin to job to coach, CLEAN, no cheating, no interference, just loose a legitimate fall,
austin walked out on the company
he was pissed off about this to the extent that he refused to work wrestlemainia with hogan, as they most likley wanted him to job to hogan as well
btw...

unless the screwjob was a work that will NEVER happen,
anyway bret had to retire cuz he ran into goldbergs foot
the reason hogan would win is because this is the last time hogan will EVER headline a PPV
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
dave meltzer or whatever the fuck his name is has said the true story of the screwjob wont come out untill someone crucial to the occurance is dead...
many believe he meant brisco/patterson, or macmahon, i think he meant earl hebner,
hebner said a few little less then a year ago that the screwjob was no work,
he said that the company was scared bret would show up on wcw tv with the belt

Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Yeah - why is this bollocks here, this is supposed to be a boxing forum?
I know that this is not a golden age of boxing, but the last time I looked it was still a proper sport and not choreographed dancing and shouting by overweight steriod-puffed bodybuilding narcissistic ladyboys?
I mean, check out a real man

Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
It sucks that Austin-Hogan couldnt happen.. I dont blame Austin for not wanting to lose to Hogan. Maybe they can do it in the future.
I really, really, really wish they'd bring Goldberg and/or Brock Lesnar back.
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
i think goldbergs absence is his own choice, and i would imagine if they give him enough money hell return,
when it comes to lesnar there are many complicated legal reason he wont be in a wwe ring anytime soon, most of which the few people who know all reasons will not explain
i heard that the only reason rhandy orton got to be champ was cuz they had lost leznar (the youngest champ ever) and didnt want another company to be able to say they had the youngest wwe champ ever

Goldberg was on Pros vs Joes. If you haven't seen it, it is normal guys taking on retired sport vets and their own respected sport. Goldberg made the "Joes" look like he was wrestling his own kids. It was hilarious.

Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Hogan did induct Mean Gene. And Vince screwing Bret was Vince's idea, Bret knew nothing of it, thats why he spit in Vince's face. That was for real. They recently did the same thing w/ Shane and Michaels I guess cuz Bret got inducted, but him spitting in Vince's face was not scripted, he was mad cuz Vince screwed him in his last match.

Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Ultimate would kick both of their arses!!! 8)

Do ya know what Bret said at his induction cuz thats the first time he's worked with vince since the incident and teh death of owen isnt it . I still aint sure cuz when they showed him looking for vince backstage , shawn michales ( michael hickenbottom ) had his acting voice on so im sceptical

its pretty much accepted that that was 4 real (a shoot), tho some people think mcmahon and hart plotted to take down wcw by faking the whole thing, however most people believe the montreal screwjob was real deal
the thing with HBK recentley was a work (scripted)
the bret hart screwjob occurred because harts contract with the wwf was done and he was going to sign with wcw,
mcmahon wanted him to loose the belt before leaving the company, and the next PPV was in canada,
bret hart and HBK had beef in real life over some shit they had talked or something, it was at the time of DX when HBK had alot of push backstage
for this reason hart REFUSED to loose in his hometown, especially to HBK,
he said that he would give the belt up at the following house show, and i guess vince wasnt down with the belt changing hands on a house show, although i think there was still at least one TV show left with hart under contract
the wwf claimed they thought he was trying to get the wwf belt on wcw TV, and they felt it was imperitive to take the belt off him
in the clip its hard to see but hart spits in the face of mcmahon
earl hebner (the ref), backstage (off camera) told hart he would not do anything to fuck him over before the match,
there is speculation that he ran straight into a car after he left the ring

Yeah that was real, hart punched vince after the show and vince fell over and broke his leg. The reason why hart wasnt on wrestlemania last night like the other inductees was coz hes against it as he still doesnt like shawn michaels or vince.

Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Did anyone see raw last night .
Is it true Cena lost his title in a handicap match to edge and triple h ?
Snakey - I saw the bit where hart told people not to worry about him anymore but he was a sad site to see .
-
Re: "Stone Cold" Steve Austin v. Hulk Hogan
Cena did NOT lose his belt, it was non title. And yes, Bret did look a mess during his speech, but I believe he did thank the "McMahon family" but I dont recall him mentioning Vince by name.
