So many other top fighters to choose from and Pac decides to cherry pick..
After Pac wins, will Bob arum let him loose against Thurman/Spence or just keep milking?
He will never get the Mayweather rematch so what is the next realistic option?

In answer to the thread's question. I have to say... no
To answer no, to answer your next question Bob recently said "Pacquiao vs Thurman does bad numbers, maybe Ponomarov next"
Yes, they are really considering going from unproven Horn to unproven Ponomarov. Because, you know, blacks vs Philippinos don't sell.
This is a retirement world tour parade for Manny to make as much money as possible with the least amount of risk.
I don't know it is pacman the best part of it is we might get to hear from @pacfan if duerte hasn't locked him up that is. Man I hope my boy @pacfan is alright. Last time I talked to him he was literally in fear of the regime. I will not be getting the fight after finding PAC is in cahoots with duerte
If I wake up Sunday and read Horn kayoed PAC then I'll catch it on YouTube before it gets removed.
Failing that I'd forgotten it was happening
I'm definitely going to watch it but I'm not super excited about it. I've never seen Horn fight so I can only imagine that they picked someone who has no chance at winning.
Really just a lose everything-win next to nothing scenario for Manny and think Arum will cry in his Ensure upon seeing viewing numbers.
Another Country same question, do they plan airing it 'live' Stateside. No way they avoid spoiling results with massive time difference?
yes it will be aired live in america on espn, not sure about canada but if they show it in canada i will go to the casino to watch it, although it is canada day so maybe they will have some silly canuck things on instead :S.. it is early afternoon on sunday in australia so it works out to be on at 8.30pm west coast time i think.
The only reason we care is if Horn smashes Pac
It's free and it's Pacquaio so of course I'll watch it and care.
Yo @walrus, I'm still okay, Duterte people still can't find me, under my bed. For the first, some people here are betting on Horn but I'm separating boxing from politics for Pac's fight. I haven't seen Horn fight but I saw him hitting the mitts and let me tell you guys, the bloke (that's what Aussie's call 'em) can really punch. His punches had speed and packed a lot of power. Most fans can't see the fine prints of boxing but let me tell you folks straight - Horn has enough power to kd, ko Pac. But then, I don't know about his skill. I haven't seen him fight. All I can say for now is that if he knocked Pac, I would be the least surprised...
Excellency @pacfan and glad to see things are ok with you. With your blessing I will back PAC in the fight and nice hearing from you
Do we care???

it is on some weird obscure subscription channel in canada, superchannel or something like that for anyone who cares, never heard of it, not ppv though but the channel costs 20 quid a month :S
Know you're ESPN when your card is delayed by professional Soccer tied 1-1 ;D. Welcome to the big leagues Manny.
subscribed to unknown canadian channel for this :S... maybe it is a good channel who knows i have a month to find out..
might be a good plan from bob, ufc is taking a lot of fans in the us, main event has an australian v a fun to watch legend in a stadium in brisbane, should be a big event for the aussies and it has quite the international undercard, american a fillipino, a jap and an irish man and of course the native australians.. Events like this could be good for boxing around the world despite it being a pretty weak title defence from pacquaio.

shane mosley jr
fillipino v jap fellow for the ibf superflyweight title
and conlan v whoever are being shown on the undercard...
kinoshita has been fighting great competition recently :S http://boxrec.com/boxer/453433
I think toussaint won the first round, more aggresive and i think he landed more... mosley jr seems to physically really strong and quick but he didnt do too much.. I suspect he gain raise his game more than toussaint as the fight goes on tohugh.
looks like you could give the australian the first 3 rounds, mosley doesnt get out of the way of much but he has started landing a bit more. toussaint really puts a lot into his punches so i think he could tire out pretty quick.
Young Mosley Jr. has the head movement of a park statue.
Yep. 3-0 Toussant. Not impressed with Mosley Jr. so far.
Putting up this kinda thread means you care... As for me, let me just put it this way, "the week came with a bit of surprised, a pleasant one though," if you can catch my drift...
@walrus, because of politics, many Filipino's have turned into Flomo's! They're saying something like, "I hope Pakyu getted KO'd," and guess what Pakyu means? They twisted Pac's name to sound like F---You! Well anyway, buds, good luck to our boy. Cheers, to all pactards!
Yeah, Jr. got one there. But, 4-1 to me now. Toussant more disciplined and puts together some nice combinations.
4-1 Toussaint. He has a plan and is actually executing it. Mosley looks lost in thought standing in front of him, just following.
5-1 Toussaint. Good for the electrician!
Tighter faster work to start 7th by Mosley. Body head mix keeping him effective. Still catches silly punches though 5-2 Toussaint
6th round was very good for toussaint but he is looking very tired after the 7th, but i have it 5-2 for toussaint so if he can avoid going down he should win it.
mosley looks like he could be really good, he has a great frame and seems so agile and quick but he only occasionally thows his good punches :S..
Maybe 5-2 Toussaint. Mosley Jr. had a decent round but think it's too late.
close last round, I give it to mosley just for the last exchange
scorecard for me is 77-75 toussaint.
I dont think either of these guys are going far but that was fun to watch.
Mosley putting hands together but too little too late, strong final round for him. 77-75 Toussaint and that's possibly generous to Mosley. Should not be close. Cue the judges :wisesmilie:
Entertaining fight. Generous 5-3 Toussaint. Jr. doesn't have the speed, power or movement to get to the next level.
Good call props to judges for doing their job. Mosley far too cocky there for a guy who eats so many punches.
Conlan v jarrett owen is on next, I dont think this will go well..
I like how one commentator was talking about the fight that happened off air and said they wouldnt talk about it because they might show it later and then the other guy just says all the australians have won today :S... I wonder what happened.
