Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
It is just a gimmick and a bit of a laugh.
Do not take it seriously.

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
David Haye will be calling him out on twatter any minute now

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
GGG will only take the fight at 160.
His stalking works so much better at that weight.
-
Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
If the fans want it (and he can get $50 million from ppv sales) Pretty boy will fight him at 154lb.
Rio can even choose the glove size.
-
One thing's for sure, he'll be better than Andrew fucking Flintoff!

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
Rio would only be a slight step down from some of the guys GGG has defended against

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
I'd love to fight the curly lipped cunt.
I think hs is about 6'3" and I am considerably shorter and lighter.
I believe I would wreck the lanky cunt and make his lopsided lip even more unbalanced.
i wouldn't even need Adelaide Byrd as a ref ;D

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
It's a fucking joke and shows a lot if disrespect to boxers the world over who have worked hard since they were nippers to get where they are. It's also weird and baffling. Can't stand spoilt Premiership millionaires as much as the next man and I don't follow TV or celebrity mags/tabloids so don't know much about him off the field. I know he lost his Mrs and so as a widower and single dad don't know why he would risk his health up at heavyweight. Mainly though why is he not coaching or managing football? This is a guy who started as a striker and worked his back playing virtually every position back to centre back. He played under some of the best managers the sport has ever seen. You would think he might be the best coach of his generation if he put his experience and ability to use teaching others ?

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
there nothing wrong with it @Beanz
he can have a go if he wants
problem he has got tho, the absolute pinnacle he can hope for is a fight for an English, commonwealth or British title where as the vast majority of the public will call him shit if he doesn't win a world title
-
Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
Nothing wrong with starting at the bottom.Calling out the world heavyweight champion even in jest before your first fight takes the piss. I blame Primo for keep bringing up the legit Floyd/McGregor circus.

Come on he was brilliant okay he was shit playing cricket playing football both are games,! you cant play at boxing can you Flintoff thinks he can box hell he was crap not a clue.
Boxing take years to be good at if it was easy all of us lot would be champs,! celebrate boxing all hype no substance more BS some people will by into it.
Its a great pity all them pro fighters overlooked and loads of hype and money rolled on to a bloody football ball player and a cricket player who could not box kippers.
This is a insult to the sport of boxing and small hall hard working pro boxers but TV with buy into the shit and serve it up with a smile.
Idiots will watch it and talk about and may even buy it PPV no doubt.

I came here curious who Rio was. I think it's great you all are so supportive of women's sports like soccer. Here we can't be bothered by girl sports, quite unfair. Bravo U.K., bravo.

Football (only you call it soccer) is the biggest sport in the world and far superior to Baseball (Rounders), Basketball (Netball) and Ice (Hockey).

Now now Ronnie boy, I know you're being a tad mischievous here you little devil, but I talked to Yanks who are amazed that Rugby players hardly wear any padding, unlike your fat, chicken shit, pussy gridiron stars who look like they're running round in spacesuits! 😂😂😂

In all fairness he has a point, I was flicking between the F1 and the football on Sunday, every fucking time I put the football on some cunt was rolling around the floor like they had been shot.
I find football pretty fucking embarrasing these days, I just don't understand how they do it, I always think to what my mates or my Dad would say if I jumped on the floor and started rolling round crying like a big fucking pansy.
Bring back the likes of Vinnie Jones, Julian Dicks, Neil Ruddock and especially Duncan Ferguson.
I know there was harder players around but those were my era. Duncan Ferguson was one of my favourite players, I remember when someone broke into his house and he got arrested for kicking fuck out of them

The space suits only make it more dangerous. People feel safe to throw their bodies around. History shows the sport was far safer when they only wore leather helmets.

That is true, they fall on the floor like they have been shot.

But you do bring up a good point. It's not just for girls, we play soccer until we're like 8. Then our moms begin to give in and let us be, well, not men, but whatever is above soccer player.
-
You are welcome to Ronnie, primo. He flat out ignored my post. Must be the man in him that he picked up after playing soccer.

There is no accounting for taste. But baseball does suck, not as bad as cricket but still awful. I assume you have never dunked on someone or given a great check into the boards, if you did either you would love their respective sports immediately.
(I was actually bad at baseball so I have a bit of bias against it beyond how boring it is)

So while the whole World tries to make sport safer, you guys want to be more more dangerous! Wow, you guys are so out there, living on the edge!

I don't think anyone who has been around the USA would claim it to be a country of deep thinkers. There are large areas of the country where the people are completely useless.

There are large areas of Britain where electrickery is still considered the Devil's work.

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
He looks like an old man. What's the point? There is a big difference between football where touching an opponent will get you a card and boxing where someone can smash your face in. He's too old. His debut should be against James Toney: PPV.

You are determined to get Toney one last PPV date before he retires on burgers and chips.

Re: Next fight for GGG...hows about Rio Ferdinand?
James Toney needs to eat. You cannot be JFAT feasting on carrots.
