Official saddo financial thread
Hey I'm thinking of buying 2-3 ounces of gold this week. Found a place near me that sells it 100 bucks over spot. I don't think that's unreasonable. I'm not worried about short term tips as I plan on holding for at least a year. Any of you guys investing in gold, I think it's a good move and good diversification. No guarentee but I'm a bit concerned about the market and a correction. It's been a bull market so long

Re: Official saddo financial thread
Trump is doing better advertising his tax plan. No way he will get all that he wants but u got to aim high in your negotiation. As long as he can help the middle class it'll help people be able to stay in the middle class. I know corporate cuts are always a hot point but lower the rates and cut the loop holes, maybe tie it to growth and employment rather than hoarding it could help. It's odd the, so much money goes into lobbying for keeping the tax codes complicated by CPAs and h and r block. He should increase the Hollywood actor tax rate to 70percent as they always call for redistribution.

Re: Official saddo financial thread
Didn't buy gold yet. It's been taking some drops and hovering around the 1,200 dollar mark. It was at 1,900 not long ago. I really want to pull the trigger next week. Debating between gold coin or those 1 oz bars. The coins tend to be a bit more expensive but only by like 30 bucks for the new coins. China made a very nice looking 1oz with a panda on it. It's very stressful to me making these decisions but I like to donate money to charitable organizations and I can't do much if I'm not growing money. None of u bastards seem interested in my financial thread, @Master you are a cheap bastard you probably have a shit load of gold

Re: Official saddo financial thread

So, he has now faked a vacation, plus the fake hunting of refugees in churches. I bet he is even lying about his organic food fixes. I remember Brock once saying he could not bear to hurt any living creature and was vegan, yet he also revealed that he eats turkey. Is there no end to the crookedness?

Plus food, board, inter country travel etc. It adds up. Yet you were pleading poverty just a week ago. You were claiming to be vegan a couple of months ago. You were claiming you were following women into churches. You seem to be a deceptive individual. Bald Hillary is your new name.

Re: Official saddo financial thread
As we are in the financial thread. Your trip to a country you profess to have dislike for could have bought you the gold that Walrus was looking to buy. You could have put it towards improving your credentials. All things that would enhance your future. Thing is nobody knows what to believe anymore as you seem to make up your life as you go along. Hillary: I am black. Course you are, love. ;D

Re: Official saddo financial thread
I really was going to buy crypto. The returns have been incredible but I just don't understand it. Everyone says oh it's great the ZOG and the central banks don't control it but nonetheless it is still a fiat currency and value is determined only by demand. I just don't trust it. I do however love the block chain technology behind it. It is impossible to be hacked as it would involve hacking into every computer involved in anyone that owns it so literally millions and all at the same time. I do want to invest in block chain technology as they are saying it's like the cloud 2.0 and companies are already developing uses for it including governments. Gold, for me, i desire as it is something tangible I can hold.

Re: Official saddo financial thread
Crypto like Bit coin is just as good as gold in terms of reasoning. It isn't FIAT as there is only a limited supply of Bitcoin, but it does have flaws. For instance, when an EMP hits or you end up like Puerto Rico there really isn't much you can do with it. China is already clamping down on it, but like you pointed out, governments will want to use crypto as a means of ultimate control. Basically I want freedom and it's harder and harder to have freedom.

Re: Official saddo financial thread
I say just buy the gold and stop procrastinating. 1300 is around average over the last several years. It is something that always has value whether up or down a bit. If you are thinking long term you don't care if they hit the paper markets and bring it to 1200. You are thinking of the future not what will it be worth a year from now.

Miles it is Fiat, fiat has nothing to do with how much is available but the fact it is based on nothing but what people think it's worth. Some economists argue it is a Ponzi scheme as the only thing bringing up the price is those getting in now. Some of these Bitcoin guys think the value will never drop. That would mean crypto is the only investment vehicle in history that had never had a correction or crash. Bitcoin and such is nothing but a modern tulips craze @Gandalf

Re: Official saddo financial thread
It is a limited supply of nothing though which differentiates it from Fiat. The supply of Bitcoins is limited and cannot grow forever. Fiat currencies are all based on ponzi schemes and growing forever. Quite different. An ounce of gold will always buy you a new suit, the same cannot be said of 5 dollars.

@Gandalf you r prob need reading these links I slupply but yes Bitcoin is fiat. It does not matter that it is limited it matters what asigns it's value. It is even more risky than traditional fiat. The US dollar being fiat has value as people trust in the us economic system and the governments backing. Bitcoin is based on what. You can't say oh it's limited as that is not an answer. The dollar had crashed in the past even under the gold standard. Bitcoin is confusing as we did not grow up with it but to begin to understand you must grasp that it is a fiat currency. The article above begins to explain it. Several other links in my fine financial thread do the same and even explain why the whole crypto thing is a Ponzi scheme

I think the world is falling apart as evidenced by population expansionism and a refusal to get real regarding our economic, political and social systems. I wish it wasn't the case, but we seem to be in terminal decline. Let's ask the species of the world how they feel about humanity. This is the anthrocene, and we are the virus, turning everything to extinction and yet we plod in refusing to change. I wish it could be another way, but Trump is there, the Tories are there and the drums of war march everywhere. It looks dark.

I hear u master but with investments I need to look at everything. Tragic events do bring gold up. Sometimes u need to ask yourself do u think the next 5to ten years something catastrophic might happen be it a market crash, war, decline in the dollar or euro or miles leaving the forum. You would ask yourself the same question when investing in weapon makers stocks or insurance stocks. It's not hoping these things happen but being prepared and having insurance for it. I think the article mentioned gold could go down to 800 this year that would be quite a drop certainly no sales pitch. Historically negative events and panic drive gold up. After an 8.5 year bull market we are statistically due for a correction which will bring gold up. I find all this shit fascinating and I've always been amazed how people make shitloads of money just moving shit around. I put a relatively small amount of money in tesla stock and tripled my money in under six months. I can't do that at work.

It is never a bad option to have means for yourself that will withstand ANYTHING be it a bubble bursting, a total stock market collapse, or the collapse of a government....Gold will continue to be very valuable I'm guessing at least the next "game changer" which I can only guess would be credits on a microchip which you have placed inside your body....I mean that's the whole BladeRunner future right? We're going to have no credit cards, no debit cards, no cash, no change, just a chip right? But even then, even if that is the future if you're looking at black market goods then Gold will be even more valuable due to the fact that you can't trace it, also Bitcoin being untraceable is a good thing but it not being a tangible object makes me worry about that.

Re: Official saddo financial thread
This Bitcoin craze is really something else. I'm looking to get in it but not the coin itself. Who knows maybe spendingnover 4,000 on one Bitcoin or less on litecoin or etherium is a good move but it's just moving too fast. I'm looking at index funds based on the crypto or companies developing the block chain tech behind Bitcoin. Nasdaq is experimenting with blockchain, ibm is at the top of the food chain with block chain and another already trading at 645 bucks a share. Damn guys, I need u all to send me money we can start a madoff type saddo hedge fund

Re: Official saddo financial thread
Have you thought of or looked in to investing in Marijuana companies? It is THE big business right now.
I think that industry has a bubble and it will pop because people will eventually be able to grow their own. But at present that whole industry is jumping! I do wonder considering federal regulations against the drug if funds received from stock/investments would be viewed differently by the feds. Also industries that aid in production of that plant: fertilizer, pesticides, hydroponic systems, greenhouse accessories etc should likewise see a bump in profits.

Ya there are mutual funds dealing with the greenhouse construction fertilizer and marijuana itself. There are a few that have done very well over the past couple years but took a dip when sessions was appointed. I'm not in one yet but I wouldn't rule it out.
